One Night's Mistakes (Love's Wrong)

One Night's Mistakes (Love's Wrong)
Fighting for the Future

After Kevin leaves, Alan asks his wife to rethink her decision. Moreover, the condition of his son has not fully recovered after the accident.

"Ma, shouldn't we just give up? Kevin loves Jeany. Papa's worried the bleeding in his head could get worse if it's not properly guarded."

"You want to let our son be with that cheap girl, Pa???"

"Didn't Kevin explain? That kid works at a nightclub just as a waitress, right?"

"Oh, so you're now defending the boy? Wh why? Does she remind you of the same woman you slept with???"

"Enough, Ma! That incident has long since passed! No need to talk anymore!"

Being yelled at by Alan makes Henny even more hurt. "How can I not bring it up if our son repeats a mistake you made!!!"

Alan was speechless with Henny's words. He realized that his wife had not forgiven him completely. Those painful memories remained tightly tucked away in the deepest recesses of the wife's heart.

"Ehm, Ma .... I don't think Jeany is what you think. While guarding Enzo he was also in charge once." Marvin gave his opinion carefully.

Henny glared angrily at her son. "Mama is confident in my mom's judgment. She's not a good girl. Mama see for herself she's hugging another man!"

"But we can't just let Kevin out there either, Ma. The boy never lived a hard life" said Marvin still trying to persuade his mother.

"Leave it. Mama's sure she won't last long out there without our help. And I'm sure she'll leave Kevin after knowing Kevin has nothing left. After that, you'll arrange for Kevin to study abroad so he can't relate to her anymore!"

Marvin sighed inwardly looking at his mother who was so hard on his stance. "We need to know where Kevin is going. Don't let anything happen to him."

"Where else is he going, definitely meet that woman!"

"But I don't know Jeany's address, Ma."

"It looks like Stevi knows. You're the one who asked, mom's lazy to talk to him."

Marvin also received a cell phone offered by Henny. In his heart he felt relieved that his mother did not really want to break with Kevin. He really felt sorry for the sister whose love life was not as lucky as him.

Sunday was supposed to be the most fun day for Stevi. On that day the girl could wake up later, then go have fun with her friends and best friends all day. Especially during semester breaks like this, there are no college assignments that must be done.

But since his family went bankrupt, he often refused to invite his friends to gather and have fun. Various things he made the reason for rejection, so his friends were tired of inviting him again. Only Devi and Sandra are aware of her family's financial condition. But his two best friends lately have no time for him.

Alone. That was how he felt at this moment after he finished talking to Marvin. Without family, without friends, without lovers, even now threatened to lose the only vehicle. Remembering Kevin made his heart ache again. His ex-girlfriend was even willing to leave her family for another woman. But he knows he cannot compete with Jeany, because to keep Enzo alone he is not able to do as well as the girl.

Shadows the disappointed face of mama Kevin when he found his grandson fell on the stairs because of his carelessness. Fortunately, the baby did not suffer any serious injuries. Now he has no face left to meet Kevin's family.

Tired of various problems in his life, Stevi's feet stepped towards the house of Rika, his neighbor. He just needs a friend to talk to. His neighbor greeted him with a warm smile when he opened the door.

"Lo is great. We're the same age but you're more everything than me. I'm well-established, have my own house and car" Stevi said with admiration after a long chat in the living room of Rika's house.

"Obsolutely normal. You can also like me."

"Gue's dizzy, Rik. My car has to be sold to pay my debt. I can't imagine going to college without a car, surely later on campus is looked at one eye." Stevi poured out her heart.

Rika's face looks sad, showing that she also felt what Stevi felt. He patted the back of Stevi's hand gently.

"Lo don't be sad. Be assured that there is a way out. I can help you if you want."

"You ... stop by?"

Jeany asked puzzledly after seeing her lover come while carrying a large bag. The young man's face also looked as red as it had been slapped. "What's up in front of you?"

Kevin smiled sadly. He sat down and told her everything that had happened to his girlfriend. For him a relationship must be lived with openness. He doesn't want to hide anything from Jeany.

"I don't know why Stevi had to tell Mama about you ever working at a nightclub." Kevin ended his story in annoyance.

"He was unintentionally. He's guilty too, so call Randy to pick me up." Jeany spoke as she stroked Kevin's flushed cheek against his mother.

"That makes my mom misunderstand you" Kevin grumbled.

"We're also a lot wrong with Stevi. I'm worried now that he really knows Rika. You gotta get him, Vin."

Kevin nodded. "I'm sorry. I said we don't have to suffer because of people who can only judge without knowing the truth" she said with a slightly embarrassed face. "It turns out my mama was like that."

Jeany shook her head. He was happy Kevin really loved him so willing not to be considered a child again by his parents. But what about their lives after this?

"Do you know where you want to live?" ask the girl.

"So on the way here I thought of everything. The plan is I want to find a kos deket here. Trus find a job. Good thing college money has been paid, so it can still continue." Kevin looked at Jeany grimacing. "Tomorrow we input KRS together, so that it can be class."

Jeany suddenly cut off her eye contact with Kevin. The girl slightly lowered her head when she spoke. "Ehm .... I'm actually on college leave."

"Why?"

Kevin breathed out with a huff. "There is still a payment period until next month. You revoke your leave application well, I'll take care of the cost."

Jeany held onto Kevin's hand, trying to give the young man some understanding. "I've thought it's ripe, Vin. I'm just on vacation, not stopping. Later if the money has been collected also I will continue to college again. At most one year."

Kevin stared at Jeany for a long time. "Jean, I want to marry you." The young man said something unexpected.

"You are this .... Speaking of college again suddenly speaking of marriage ..," Jeany replied as she felt her heart beating very fast.

"i'm serious. This is what I should have done a long time ago, being responsible for marrying you. We got married and lived in a small rented house. What, you want to, right?" Kevin asked while holding Jeany's hand.

"You better focus on your college first, Vin. We both have no jobs. If you marry and have children later, isn't it getting harder?"

Suddenly Kevin laughed. "Do you think you have any children? Marriage does not have to have children .... Later make use of security just so as not to be his son."

"Yes, yes, too .... Uh, what???"

Kevin laughed even harder to see his girlfriend was wrong. But not long after that his face turned serious.

"But you're right. I don't have the ability to be the head of the family yet" he said with a bitter smile. "This semester I'm going to finish my script. After I graduated from college and got a full-time job, we got married. Six more months," continued the young man steadily.

"Don't be too mean, Vin. Studying while working and compiling a thesis is not easy. Don't let you get tired."

"Cook. There are three courses I have to take. Plus thesis. So not heavy. I'll take the morning lecture schedule, so that it'll be day till night for work."

"Yes. But remember to take care of your health, don't force yourself."

"Yes, Sweetheart. If we remember again we used to be very one class yes. But you are very arrogant, if we cross paths you never miss. I was just considered the wind then," Kevin said with a wounded facial expression.

"Isn't it back? You're concerned about Stevi mulu ...."

"Amaha .... Cook anyway?" Kevin chuckled while scratching his head.

Jeany nodded her face. The girl was a little jealous considering Kevin once loved Stevi so much.

"Don't sulk. I'm not really in love with Stevi. After you, I just realized that my feelings for Stevi were more in awe than love. She's amazingly pretty about it."

"Yes yes Stevi is beautiful .... I'd like to just close the pot ...."

Wrong again, Kevin's mind while patting his eel.

"Don't sulk anymore dong. You are also beautiful, make the one below stand still ...."

"O Kevin! You really are like this, right?"

"Yes, but it's just you" Kevin replied.

"The same Stevi never?"

"Even, but-Oh, oh!" Kevin grimaced in pain from being suddenly pinched by Jeany. He held the girl's hand. "Dengerin was that. I almost kissed Stevi, but it's off because of your keinget."

Jeany's face looked grim. His brain imagines a scene of Kevin almost kissing Stevi. The young man gently rubbed Jeany's head, condoning her lover's jealousy.

"Don't think about what has passed. What matters now is fighting for our future. Now I'm looking for kos yuk?"

Kevin was right, Jeany thought. There was a future that the two of them had to pick up, not supposed to think about the problems that had passed. He also nodded. "But eat first yes, you will have to take medicine. You've got your medicine, right?"

"Yes take it."

"So I cooked fried rice. You want? Or eat out?"

"I ate your cooking. Must be good."

After eating and making sure Kevin had taken his medicine, Jeany accompanied his girlfriend to find a boarding house in the area around the campus. They traveled around long enough to find a relatively cheap boarding room, clean and maintained, although small and without air conditioning.

"This one room is still empty. There are already others who are interested, but have not given the sign so. If the sister is serious, just pay for one month so that it can be occupied immediately today as well," said the owner of the boarding house.

Kevin opened his wallet, counting the remaining sheets of money. His hand stopped and his body suddenly stiffened. Never had he felt like this before. The money is not enough.

Seeing that, Jeany quickly took out the money she was carrying. His hard-earned money became a babysitter at Kevin's house.

"This, Sir. Please make the receipt yes."

The cost owner then goes inside to make a payment receipt. Actually Kevin was allowed to occupy the room, but Jeany felt bad to enter the male boarding room. They were sitting in the living room.

"I'm not very useful, Jean. Pay a fee still use your money," said Kevin sad, feel not as a man.

"Don't say that. I used to have a hard time when you always helped me. Now change."

Kevin squeezes Jeany's fingers, loving the girl even more.

I need to get a job soon. I should be happyin Jeany ....
