One Night's Mistakes (Love's Wrong)

One Night's Mistakes (Love's Wrong)
DB 15 - After a Long Night

"Wake, Honey. You're late for the office."

Revan, who was only wearing a towel to cover his lower body, repeated his call to Vivian. Half an hour ago he had tried to wake Vivian up, but his wife looked still slumbering. He decided to give the woman a little time to enjoy her restful sleep. After taking a bath, he reawakened his wife in a soft voice.

Revan's originally faint-sounding voice was increasingly clearly entering Vivian's sense of hearing. He immediately opened his eyes and found the smiling husband staring at him.

"Ugh .. I'm so tired of my body." Vivian stretched her body before turning her sleeping position into a sitting position.

"If you're tired, don't go in today. Rest first." Revan gave a suggestion. They had just been through a long, energy-draining night. At one in the morning he and Vivian just arrived home. It is only natural that his wife is tired.

"I have to get in. Want to talk first about resigning to Mr. Joni with Mr. Samuel." Vivian mentioned her boss's name in the office. "Hopefully good."

A hug Revan gave to appreciate the decision made by his wife. "Thanks you're willing to sacrifice your career for me. I know it's not easy for you."

Vivian smiled and returned the hug for a moment. "Wear clothes, Rev, let in another cold" she told her husband.

Revan gently kissed Vivian's head before walking into the closet to pick up clothes. She wore it in front of the mirror with her back to Vivian, who looked at her husband's open back with a happy smile. A V shaped tattoo is imprinted there. The tattoo was made by Revan when he was in college in America. He said it was a symbol of his love for Vivian.

Vivian cut it off at the time. He thinks Revan's actions are too impulsive. What if they end up breaking up? The tattoo will actually remind her of their failed love story. But now Vivian feels happy every time she looks at the tattoo, as if there is a part of her that is attached to Revan's body. His eyes then turned to Revan's neck.

"Don't wait, Rev." While giggling amusedly, Vivian got up from the bed and walked over to her husband. He took the concealer stored in the dresser drawer, then applied it to Revan's neck. "Many are red too. I think my concealer is done for this," he said grimacingly.

"Really?" The surprised looking Revan stared at the mirror to observe his neck. When he saw the trace that Vivian left there, he gave a big smile. "Beautiful."

"Basic crazy!"

"Crazy kok?" revan asked with raised eyebrows. "What's wrong with praising a wife's own masterpiece?"

"Udah ah I want to take a shower." Vivian walks into the bathroom. Although in front of Revan he showed a thin face, his smile expanded when he heard the husband laughing behind him.

"Today I'm taking you to the office?" revan asked with a face full of hope after he finished his last breakfast feed.

"No, Rev. I usually drive myself."

Suddenly Revan's face turned serious. "Vi, I want our relationship to run like a husband and wife in general. Your friends know who I am, so do my friends know who you are."

Vivian hid the tension she felt. He doesn't like this kind of talk because it always triggers a fight between himself and Revan. Learning from experience, Vivian now chooses to make compromises rather than refuse directly.

"I know, Rev. But soon I resigned. What if you start taking me to work later?"

It seemed like the way Vivian had succeeded was because Revan replied to her with a bright smile. "Where are you planning to apply? If not, I can find a position in my office."

Again Revan offers something Vivian avoids. He shook slowly. "Yet. I just decided to resign last night to make."

Revan nodded. He understood Vivian could not be urged. "OKAY. But consider the possibility of working in my office."

"I will, Rev."

They went to their respective workplaces as usual. Revan is escorted by his driver, while Vivian drives her white Brio. Activities at Vivian's office were also running as usual.

After the morning briefing with the three members of her team, Vivian sat down for a moment to prepare herself. After this he will meet with his superiors to discuss a resignation plan. At that point Revan called him. He rushed out of the room to receive the call.

"Yes, Rev?"

"Vi, I suddenly have to go to Jakarta." Revan's voice sounded tense. "There's a report of sales fraud there."
