One Night's Mistakes (Love's Wrong)

One Night's Mistakes (Love's Wrong)
I'm Not Leaving You

Jeany is shocked when Kevin opens the door for her. He saw the young man circling his back as if looking for something. The girl understood what Kevin was looking for.

"Stevi is home."

"Oh."

"Are you waiting for him?"

"That's it, I-"

"Oh I know. You're gonna be waiting for this."

Jeany takes Kevin's debit and credit cards from his bag, along with notes and proof of payment when eating at a restaurant. He told Kevin. The young man accepted it confusedly. He wanted to say that Jeany was the one he was waiting for.

"So Stevi's credit card can't be made, so I'm using your card. All I bought was ramen ama ocha, a total of seventy-eight thousand. Round it to eighty thousand, so my debt to you totals two million and eighty thousand. If there's another debt I forgot, please say."

"You why the hell? Dateng-dateng why talk about debt?" Kevin was confused by Jeany's attitude.

"Let's both know."

"I'll never count you."

"I'm not saying you're calculating. The debt must be paid," said Jeany who immediately passed to the top floor where his room was located. Kevin followed.

"Jean, what's wrong with you? Did something happen when you left?"

The young man blocked Jeany's arm, preventing her from getting into the room. The girl looked at him for a moment before answering. "Father. Just tired of it."

Kevin took off his hand which was holding Jeany. "Yes, you should rest first. Met night."

The young man now knew one more thing about Jeany. The mood of the girl was easily up and down. Moody's. Looks like the influence of hunger and fatigue. Kevin reminded himself not to let Jeany feel hungry and tired. It's okay if his mood is good. Which is the problem if it turns bad, he who is affected gets unpleasant treatment from the girl.

The next morning Kevin greeted Jeany at his doorstep with a bright smile. The young man was holding the nephew.

"Borong, Jean. How's sleep?"

"Morning. Ordinary kayak. Here, Enzo."

Jeany is about to take Enzo from Kevin's arms, but is held back by the young man. "You have breakfast first. Brother Marvin ama Sak Winda is also breakfast again."

"I don't usually eat breakfast. You're the one who's having breakfast."

"Starting today. Breakfast is important."

"Do you make it?"

"For the sake of our friendship."

"What is the continuity of friendship?" Although there was a sense of bitter because the young man only considered him a friend, Kevin's words felt funny.

"I don't want you to jutekin anymore" said Kevin with a wry look.

The girl's laughter exploded.

"What does breakfast have to do?"

"I told you once, you'll rese laper again. Now the addition, rese kalo again tired."

Jeany grimacing. He let the man in front of him draw the wrong conclusion. There's nothing he wants to tell Kevin about last night. But there is one thing he wants to know.

"How will I keep you, how will you?"

"Come angry. I don't like to be cut or diademin that's not clear."

Jeany just smiled. Last night he had thought about Stevi's request. He realized he would do the same thing as Stevi if his beloved lover was close to other women. When should he torture himself? Because seeing Kevin and Stevi embrace her heart was already very painful.

Hence, that morning before opening the door of his room he had been determined to keep his distance from Kevin. There was no point in maintaining his one-handed clapping feelings. Kevin's relationship with Stevi is based on love, while his relationship with Kevin is a mistake. The sooner forgotten the better.

But Kevin's attitude that morning was so sweet. Jeany's determination at that time also disappeared somewhere. He still behaved normally to the young man, to comply with his desire for breakfast. The two of them went to the dining room, and alternated breakfast as there had to be someone guarding Enzo.

Even until noon, they still spent time together, guarding Enzo until the baby took a nap. Jovina who saw him was mocked her brother when Jeany was going to the toilet.

"No, Kevin can't be far from Jeany's sister."

"What are you talking about?" asked Kevin.

"Do you know what you want to know?"

"Where are you going?" Kevin did not respond to the joke of the younger brother who he thought was not funny.

"You're dating. Is it just Kevin's brother who can date?"

"Lho, how is Jeany's sister? It's ...."

Jovina's grin grew wider and saw her brother who looked out of words because of his words that were right on target.

"Sorry I'm sassy to enter."

Stevi walked into the room with a grim face. He overhears Kevin's conversation with his sister.

"Why didn't you tell me you wanted to come here, Stev? I can pick it up."

"You're busy taking care of Enzo Jeany."

Kevin gulped his saliva. Jovina who did not want to be among a pair of lovers who did not look okay was immediately saying goodbye. To be more precise, the female side that looked was not doing well.

"Sister Kevin, Brother Stevi, I go first."

"Eh wait. Where are you going? Same who?" Kevin interrogates Jovina like a protective older sister.

"Sama Tania cs. Mo watch."

"Hmm so I was dating ...."

"I don't want to date ah. Ntar's dizzy like Kevin's sister."

Kevin looks engrossed in stroking a samurai on display not far from where he stands.

"Hehehe .... Peace!" Jovina quickly ran away after successfully upsetting her sister.

Kevin shook his head and turned to look at Stevi. He's stunned. There was something different about her lover's face.

"Stev, are you crying?"

Without warning, Stevi rushed straight into Kevin's arms and shed her tears on the young man's chest.

"Cup cup .... You why?" Kevin tried to calm Stevi down by patting her on the shoulder. He could not bear to take off Stevi's embrace which looked very sad.

After being satisfied with crying, Stevi finally took off her embrace. He looked at Kevin with his wet eyes.

"Can you talk somewhere else? I don't want anyone to be horrified." Stevi is actually Jeany.

"Well, by the way, at the cafe?"

Stevi shook her head. "My face is a messy gini."

Kevin then took his girlfriend to the back garden, a place that he thought was comfortable enough to exchange stories. There was no one else there during the day like this, all busy with their respective work. After sitting in a park chair that was fortunately sheltered from the scorching sun, Stevi began her story.

"My family is bankrupt, Yang," Stevi said with her tears breaking. "My family's house is threatened by a bank auction."

Kevin was surprised to hear that. Bankruptcy is certainly a pretty heavy blow for girls who are used to living with a treasure like Stevi. How can you suddenly go bankrupt?

"Did your mom tell me the cause?"

"Mama said that the effort that papa stubis same friend did not succeed."

"You have patience. There's gotta be a way out."

"What exit? My family doesn't even have the funds to pay interest on the loan every month" Stevi said emotionally.

"How much is the loan?"

"Ten M."

Kevin was speechless, feeling foolish for thinking he could help his girlfriend's family pay off their debt. When it comes to family homes that are used as collateral, of course the loan numbers are fantastic. Just this time he wanted to grow up soon, so as not to feel helpless like this moment. If only it had worked ....

"You won't leave me, will you?" ask Stevi.

"What are you saying ...."

"I don't have anything, I can't take care, I'm not beautiful .... You won't leave me, will you?"

"I won't leave you."

"You promise?"

"Yes I promise."

Stevi hugged Kevin tightly with great relief. He knew his lover would not break his promise. Kevin returned the embrace of his now very fragile lover, wanting to give strength so that the girl can pass the test of her life.

Behind them, Jeany watched with a broken heart.
