One Night's Mistakes (Love's Wrong)

One Night's Mistakes (Love's Wrong)
You are a Honoured Woman

From the gap of the door that had not fully opened, two pairs of eyes met each other's eyes. No one wanted to budge as the gaze of anger clashed against the look of hateful eyes. Henny first voiced her thoughts after the shock made it difficult for her to move her tongue.

"Kevin, what does all this mean?! Why are you still in contact with this woman?!"

Kevin held the hand of the woman who had given birth to him and spoke firmly. "Ma, whether you approve or not, I'm still going to marry Jeany. But now I want to prove to Mama that what Jeany gave birth to was my flesh and blood, the granddaughter of Mama who used to want Mama to throw away."

A snide laugh is given by Henny. "So he complained to you? Do you believe that child is your child? This woman has been in contact with a lot of men!"

"Enough, Auntie! I don't want to hear any more insults from Auntie! Now also get out of my house!" Jeany banishes Henny before she loses her temper. To Kevin he said, "Vin, you better take your mama home. It's free he won't want to admit his granddaughter!"

Jeany originally wanted to curse, wanted to shower the old woman with harsh words that she had always harbored all this time. But when he opened his mouth, the curse he had prepared was not able to say. The drastic changes to Henny's body shocked him greatly. Maybe his heart is too weak. Can he feel compassion for a woman who ever wanted to eliminate her fetus?

"Patience, Jean. Please give me time to convince my mother. I'm sure Mama will believe it after seeing our son. Can we come in?"

"No! I won't let him see Kenny!"

DEG!

Henny gasped. The face of the boy who was very similar to Kevin appeared in his mind. His hand just stretched out to hold Jeany's arm.

"You said what was your son's name? Kenny???" the question shook Jeany's body a little.

Jeany was not affected despite Henny's change in attitude. He remains silent.

"Yes, Ma. Our son's name is Kenny." Kevin answered my mother's question.

"Do you sell brownies?" Henny's voice almost resembled a whisper.

"Where do you know?" Again Kevin answered because Jeany still did not want to talk.

Suddenly Henny cried. He remembered the words that had once come out of his own mouth.

Your mom must be a great mom ....

Your mother is a hard worker ....

Mama Kenny worked hard for Kenny ....

Henny's cry grew louder as her regrets deepened. The woman he considered to be an extraordinary mother was in fact the woman he had once expelled with disrespect. And the foetus which he had not once acknowledged came from the seed of the son, now grew into a child with the ethics he had witnessed for himself.

He doesn't even need a DNA test to be sure that Kenny is his granddaughter. Henny felt her face being slapped so many times. But it was his heart that felt very sick. He feared that the rest of his life would soon be spent in endless regret.

The woman dropped herself, kneeling before Jeany. "Please forgive me ...!" he lamented while holding the leg of the woman who had given birth to his granddaughter.

Kevin knelt on his knees while holding his mother's shoulder. Although he could not bear to see the old woman humbling himself, he knew it was supposed to be done by Henny. His actions in the past were too cruel to forgive. As for Jeany, she was too shocked to give any response.

"Please forgive me for not believing in you. I just found out you're Kenny's mom! Kenny's a good boy, you've raised my granddaughter well!" Henny sobbed on the sidelines of his sentence.

Kevin and Jeany looked at each other. "Have you ever met Kenny?" ask the man.

Henny nodded many times. "Kenny's with Enzo's school. I've even eaten some of Jeany's brownies!"

Kevin widened his eyes to hear his mother's answer. To him this was a good coincidence. Her mother also accepted Kenny as her granddaughter. Her dream of marrying Jeany is a little more fulfilled.

But the lover had other thoughts. "Where might a lowly woman like me give birth to a Aunt's granddaughter!"

"Jean ...." Kevin's face glared at the woman he loved. "Please forgive my mother. My mom is really sorry ...."

"Yes I'm really sorry, Jeany .... Please forgive me. Whatever I will do to make you willing to forgive me!"

Jeany looked at the woman. "I don't need anything from Auntie! Now get out of my house! Go!!"

Jeany screamed a little because emotions were running through her mind. He did not even care anymore if there were neighbors who heard their commotion. The events at the abortion clinic are still very much in his memory.

Unbelievable, he thought. It was as easy as Henny apologizing after finding out Kenny was her biological granddaughter. What about the pain of his heart all this time? What about the seven years that almost every night he had to go through with crying? "Why haven't you left yet?!" he's on Henny.

Jeany's hand that wanted to take off Henny's grip on both legs was held back by a tiny hand.

"Mrs .... Mama why upset Oma? Oma why cry?"

Jeany did not expect her sleeping son to appear there. "Kenny, you go in first, son?" he said to the son.

Henny looked at Kenny with tears in her eyes. "Kennys .... Kenny my grandson ...." The woman's voice was irregular, her hands outstretched to reach the grandson.

"Yes, Oma? How come you can come here? Why are you kneeling?" Kenny's innocent face looked at Henny in confusion.

Kevin then took the mother to stand up and whispered to Jeany. "I'll take Kenny away first, please talk to my mama."

Jeany had no other choice. There's no way he's showing his hatred for Henny in front of Kenny. After receiving approval from Jeany, Kevin approached the son. "Kenny, will you not want to see Papa buy moonlight for mama?"

The boy nodded excitedly. "You, Pa! My mother likes the moon the best! Kenny likes it too!"

Kevin smiles. "Let's go now," he asked, holding Kenny's hand.

He then told Henny. "Ma, I'm going first. Jean ...." Kevin gave a pleading look to Jeany who immediately got a nod from the woman.

Kenny imitated the papa. "Ma, Kenny go first. Oma, Kenny go first. Drugs, Mama dada, Oma ...," he said, waving his hand.

Jeany and Henny compactly waved her hand at Kenny. The two then looked at each other.

"Get in" said Jeany coldly.

Henny came in obediently. As soon as he entered Jeany's house, he smelled the sweet aroma of brownies being roasted. His heart was again filled with regret.

"Have you forgiven me, Jeany?" Henny's face looked so clear.

"I can't! Aunty was too cruel to abort Kenny back then!"

"I was just bluffing you!" Henny let out a desperate cry.

"Bluff?" ask Jeany not to believe it.

"I'm also a mother, how could I possibly do that? If I really wanted to abort your content, I wouldn't let you leave just like that! At that time I just wanted you not to look for my son anymore!" Henny explained the reason.

Henny's words made Jeany's stance a little shaky. If you recall, it is true that he was able to get out of that creepy place without anything less. Though the operating equipment had been prepared, and the people there were also plenty enough to be able to hold it back from escaping.

"What about Aunt's accusation to me?"

Henny continued her sentence. "I'm sorry for my selfishness. I cannot fully forgive my husband's mistakes. I am still angry if I remember that incident. But I'm taking my anger out on you. I know I was wrong .... Please forgive me!"

Jeany doesn't know what to do. He is confused with himself. Wasn't this what he had wanted all along, seeing the woman kneeling at his feet and begging for forgiveness from him? Why did he not feel like he could see the woman crying? Why would he want to give Henny a chance?

Seeing Jeany beginning to worry, Henny reassured him. "Please give me one chance. I'll prove that I'm really sorry. If I still disappoint you, you can forever ban me from meeting Kenny!"

It was hard for Henny to say that sentence. He would suffer greatly if he could not see his grandson again. But he desperately needs Jeany's forgiveness.

Henny's words touched the bottom of Jeany's heart. He is basically soft-hearted. He took a deep breath to fill his lungs with oxygen and slowly exhaled it.

"I'm sorry."

After saying those words, Jeany's heart felt so relieved. He wants to open a new page with the man he loves without holding a grudge against the man's mother. It wants Kenny to feel the complete affection of a family that originally did not know of his existence.

"Thank you, Jeany ...." There weren't many words Henny could say to express her gratitude.

Jeany helped the woman stand up. "Aunty wants to drink what? Let me make it."

"Call me Mama" said Henny, holding Jeany's hand. "You will soon be my son-in-law."

"Yes, Ma."

Henny smiled happily. His attention was slightly distracted as the smell of brownies grew stronger. "It looks like your brownies are ripe."

"Oh yes ...!" Jeany went straight to the kitchen.

Henny followed. "Let me help."

"Eh ja-don't, Ma. Mama just wait in the living room, not long anyway," Jeany awkwardly refused.

"It's okay. Gini-gini I can also make a cake you know ...."

"That's not what I mean ...."

Henny held back a laugh seeing her future daughter-in-law misbehaving. In the end, he helps Jeany in the kitchen. A happy smile never leaves his lips.

Not long after, Kevin went home with Kenny. The man looked dumbstruck at the lover being with the mother looking so well-groomed in the kitchen, one took out a brownie pan from the grill, one washed the cookware. He could not help his curiosity.

"Is Jeany's mom okay?"

Henny and Jeany both smiled. "You think?"

Kenny who had just come out of the restroom came in and said cheerfully, "Mama, Oma .... Let's eat the moonlight!"

The next morning, Kevin picks up Jeany and Kenny. He first took the son to school. The man enjoyed his new role as a father very much, although it was a bit late.

After Kenny got off, Kevin drove his car to the office. His right hand controls the steering wheel, while his left hand is lowered to hold the lover's hand.

"Later tonight my mom and I are going to meet Lisa's parents to officially cancel our engagement."

"May they will accept with airy chest yes, Vin." Jeany couldn't help but feel anxious.

But Kevin doesn't seem to care. The next question from the man had nothing to do with the conversation they had just had.

"Where do you want a honeymoon?"

Jeany pinched Kevin's stomach making the man look up. "When you want a honeymoon."

"I've been around a long time, Jean."

"In my room" replied Jeany.

"No problem, where can I go, honey." Kevin grinned mischievously.

Gladness was clearly visible on Jeany's face. He entered his office with a big smile. A rare sight for his comrades.

"Cieee just so, how do you keep smiling?" july's tease on him.

"Practice me to eat first I answered," Jeany responded with a joke.

"Ah elu .... Wrong if I ask for a transaction. Ask Miss Lisa, she'll soon be married to Mr Kevin!"

"What???" The smile on Jeany's face instantly disappeared.

"Yes, so get in the group! Someone shared a picture of him. It turns out that Miss Lisa's fiancee is Mr Kevin! Hmm means Mr Kevin's son who owns this company huh? It was lucky that Miss Lisa. Dapet cute guy, shit again!"

"But there is a rule that a husband and wife should not work one office?" tymphal Anet.

"Well that's for our krucil-like. Boss mah is free!"

Jeany's happiness was lost without a trace. Anger rippled in his chest. He knew Lisa had deliberately spread the engagement photo. A second later came the feeling of anxiety. He no longer wants to be called the destroyer of other people's relationships.

In the main director's room, Kevin let out his anger before Lisa. He slammed the vase on his desk until it was smashed into pieces. Sheet by sheet of paper and stationery also scattered on the floor. He had been eager to vent his anger after repeatedly receiving congratulations from the company's top brass. Congratulations on her engagement to Lisa, which she had canceled.

"WHAT ARE YOU SPREADING THAT ENGAGEMENT PHOTO FOR?!" kevin shouted as he kicked the table.

Lisa endured her fear. He could stand up straight because he felt innocent.

"So you can't just cancel our engagement! Now everyone in the office already knows our relationship. If they find out our marriage is off because of another woman, your reputation in the office will be ruined!"

"You think I care about my reputation?? I'm even willing to take off all the facilities for her sake!"

"Now things are not the same as when you were in college. You're the director of this company. Your responsibility is big."

Kevin's jaw hardens withstanding emotions. If Lisa wasn't a girl, she would have beaten her earlier. He thought about Jeany. His own reputation is not important. But what about Jeany's reputation? He does not want the past to repeat itself, when Jeany received a diatribe for allegedly seizing someone else's lover. Lisa looked at him with piercing eyes.

"I'll do anything so that the woman I love doesn't get hurt again. Even if you have to hurt someone else."
