One Night's Mistakes (Love's Wrong)

One Night's Mistakes (Love's Wrong)
DB 10 - Making Decisions

"I'll give you a week to think."

The ultimatum that Revan triggered before leaving home for the second time was swirling in Vivian's mind, leaving a restlessness that haunted her days. He was well aware that the opportunity given by Revan was their last chance to be together. If he did not want to resign from the job, then their household would completely end.

So which should Vivian choose? For a few days he thought about it, considering the consequences of every decision he would make. But the more he thought about it, the more worried and depressed he felt.

Vivian exhaled loudly, hoping that the weight of life that was pressing down on her would break down along with the air coming out of the nose. But he did not feel the slightest relief. Realizing she was out of focus, the woman stopped checking important e-mails that came in that day.

With her back resting on the chair, Vivian's eyes looked around the office room where she had been making a living for the past five years. After getting used to being an office worker, it is difficult to imagine if every day will be passed at home just like Revan wants.

That day Vivian decided not to overtime too long because she just remembered not seeing her coworkers who a few days ago gave birth to a second child.

"Don, what time are you overtime? Have you eaten pesen?" ask her to Doni who has not shown any sign of wanting to go home. The faces of his team members did not switch in the slightest from the laptop screen.

"Until it's over, ma'am. Here I again prepare a document for customer visit tomorrow, again make a simulation of the installment table."

Vivian nodded with appreciative eyes. Lately Doni has looked more excited. "Yes but don't eat late" he said. "Make also the documents of the application for credit and fees incurred."

"Ready, Mom."

"I first yes, want to besuk Citra first. Oh yeah, what kind of boy is a girl?" Vivian asked not to choose the wrong gift.

"Girl, but the model is like a boy," replied Doni who had already taken the time to swipe at Citra. The man's face looked amused, perhaps imagining the look of the baby he had just talked about.

"Hush you this. If Citra Denger can be added longer he takes care of your customer documents."

The image that Vivian just mentioned is a credit admin who is on maternity leave. For Vivian, establishing a good relationship with an office friend is also important, especially if what the person is doing is very influential on the achievement of the team he leads.

Vivian asked the location of Citra's house to Doni before leaving the office. On the way, he stopped by the gold shop and bought a baby bracelet there. After careful consideration, gifts in the form of gold jewelry feel more useful. He chose a bracelet that looks sweet with a strawberry-shaped decoration, very suitable for baby girls.

I would also be happy if someone gave me a funny bracelet like this for my baby, her inner self as her pair of beautiful eyes noticed the one and a half gram bracelet was put into a velvet-lined box by the gold shop clerk.

The beautiful delusion made Vivian's heart filled with warm and sad feelings at the same time. He took a deep breath and exhaled, whether it had been several times that day. The woman got into the car and drove her to a residential complex in East Surabaya.

After walking down the same residential alley twice, Vivian finally found the house she was looking for. The woman parked her car and got off. The sound of a baby's cry was instantly caught by his sense of hearing. He waited a moment. His hand rang the bell after the cries died down, hoping his arrival would not bother the baby's parents.

Soon after, Citra opened the door while holding her baby who was back crying loudly. He smiled to receive congratulations from Vivian, who was secretly surprised to see the look of his co-worker. Without makeup as he usually wears in the office, Citra's face looks very pale.

But Vivian was even more surprised because Citra unshakably unbuttoned her pajamas and suckled the baby in front of her after they both sat in the living room.

"Just now, I'm going to know him first. Drink first, Vi," point to the image on the bottled drinks that are already available on the table.

"Yes a little thirsty I drink," Vivian replied as she watched the baby Citra's mouth clinging to her mother's chest. "A lot of paper, is he?" he asked, a little horrified because the baby sucked the source of milk with greedy movements.

"Yes girls but she's on a date. Shhh aw!" The image suddenly hissed in pain. His face was like crying.

Vivian looked worriedly. "Why, Cit?"

"Obviously, scuffed by nyusuin. Very matter," Citra replied with a grimace.

Vivian was blown away on the spot. Everything she had just seen made her question her readiness to have children. In addition to the pain of childbirth, mothers also have to feel the pain of breastfeeding. Can't breastfeed without pain? he asked in his heart when he saw sweat droplets popping on Citra's face, clearly his friend was holding the pain at the end of his chest. Meanwhile, the baby is still feeding vigorously.

"What's your son's name, Cit?" vivian asked to move the image's attention away from her pain.

A line of smiles rose on Citra's face, but inexplicably Vivian did not interpret it as a happy smile.

"His name is beautiful, it matches her child who is also beautiful." Vivian took the gift box from inside the bag and placed it on the table. "This is a gift for Arvi's birth. Congratulations again."

The image gave a sincere smile. "Thanks yes, Vi, please bother everything."

"You're welcome."

Unlike usual, Vivian was currently very careful to keep her sentence. He had heard that hormonal changes in women who have just given birth can cause their emotions to be unstable. That's why many women experience postpartum depression, especially if the husband as the person most expected to support even a stupid period with the state of the wife. By the way, where is Citra's husband?

Vivian's hand picked up a bottle of drink on the table and gulped down the contents. Seeing the image of breastfeeding while enduring the pain made her throat feel dry. Citra seemed happy to see her guests enjoying the drinks she had prepared. He unconsciously looked at the face of the friend.

"Your face is very smooth, Vi. If you are married, I advise you not to use KB hormone, ntar face ngeflek like I used to," Citra began to tell a story.

Vivian observed Citra's face which was already free from black spots. He concluded that his office friend had long changed his method of contraception. "What kind of KB are you using now?" tanyanya was a little curious.

"I'm changing because nothing fits. Which makes the face mengeflex, make the mens cycle irregular, last make my weight go up one kilo every one month. The shadow! I finally got a calendar system, but it's even a header!" Citra's face seemed unhappy when describing her experience.

Vivian began to understand the situation of the friend. He leaned his body forward, showing great care for his interlocutors.

The image continues its story, this time with teary eyes. "My husband blames me, he says because I don't want KB. Even though he himself does not want to use the kingdom, he said it is not good!"

Pupil Vivian's eyes grew bigger hearing Citra's story. It has often been a place where people shed their hearts. He didn't know why they felt comfortable telling him. Like at the moment. Vivian does not feel a connection with Citra close, but Citra is so blunt to tell her household problems.

"Liat it now. He even went to sleep. Arva sleeps, she goes to sleep. He said he was tired because last night I couldn't get a fussy Arvia." Still breastfeeding her baby, Citra continues to tell the husband's selfishness.

Almost an hour Vivian put up an ear and earnestly listened to Citra's story. He came home from Citra home with a sense of relief, because his friend's face looked more cheerful when driving him to the front of the fence. At least he was present when the friend needed someone to share his story.

On the way home, he looked. Marrying a man who does not yet have the readiness to be a husband and father will only lead to suffering for women, as experienced by Citra. Being ready to have sex is not the same as being ready for a family.

Vivian couldn't help but compare Citra's husband with her own. He realized one thing. How lucky she is to have a husband like Revan. Vivian used to do pregnancy prevention, which made her face overgrown with acne. After that Revan provides a lot of safety rubber at home so that Vivian no longer needs to contract.

I've wasted a husband as good as Revan.

Vivian knows which one to choose. He chose Revan. He chose to keep his home. The woman turned her vehicle, towards a luxury apartment in West Surabaya. That same night he had to pass on his decision to Revan.

Upon arrival at the apartment building, Vivian directly to the elevator provided for special residents. He attached the tip of his index finger to the fingerprint scanner, making the elevator door open immediately. The elevator took her to the top floor, the 52nd floor, to a brawling griya where she used to spend the early days of the wedding.

Vivian recalled the times she lived there. The residence for him is too large and too luxurious, with five-star hotel-style facilities. The area was 500 square meters, many times larger than Vivian's parents' house. Too much for an ordinary person like him. He is not at home and forces Revan to move out of it.

That memory jolted him, with a million regrets filling his chest cavity. Why did he realize it now? Her husband had always given up on her. For his sake, Revan threw away his ego as a man. The new understanding made Vivian's footsteps faster towards the apartment door. He put his index finger back on the panel to open the door.

The door was open, but it wasn't Vivian that kept it wide open. A beautiful woman with honey-colored hair stood before him. The woman was tall. Her curves seemed perfect behind the tight black long dress she was wearing.

Vivian was glued to the spot, not believing what she was seeing. "Who are you?" ask her with a high voice.

It was a stupid question, but he was too surprised to say those two words. Of course he knows who the woman is, because who does not know Vanessa Wong, the singer who is currently at the peak of popularity? His songs have always made it into the Top 10 Spotify Charts Indonesia chart.

Laughing discordantly, Vanessa stared in disbelief at Vivian. "Seriously? You don't know who I am?" ask her back with a face offended.

If Vivian was surprised, now she felt anger that came too late to find a woman out of her husband's apartment. His gaze locked onto Vanessa's face, sharp and full of warning.

"What do I really want to ask, what are you doing in my husband's apartment?"

Vanessa let out a sweet smile that looked contrived. Every word as he intentionally said slowly and with great emphasis. "What do you think a woman does in her boyfriend's apartment?"
