One Night's Mistakes (Love's Wrong)

One Night's Mistakes (Love's Wrong)
Time to Think

Realizing Jeany's arrival, Randy quickly tidied up the items scattered on the table. He put it in a plastic bag and put it in a bag.

"Don't let your blood get polluted this dirty ...."

Even Randy came back to get a bottle of alcohol out of his bag. He poured the contents of the bottle over the cotton and rubbed it on the surface of the table, without excluding a cent.

"Rone ...." Jeany slowly sat down beside the young man. He stopped Randy's hand on the table by holding it

Randy sat down and cried. "Lo must be disgusted at me, right?"

"Relgan."

The young man pulled his own hair furiously. "Gue's scared, Jean. I don't want to die yet. My sins are still many, I have never touched my parents .... What about the girls I have slept with? I'm afraid I've transmitted this virus to many people ...!" Randy's tone was irregular.

"Patience, patience ...." Jeany began to shed tears beside the young man.

"Why should I say this Jean? Why was I given this virus when I was treated? God should have known I was converted!" Randy screamed a little unacceptable with his way of life.

Jeany could not answer. He also questioned why his life story was different from others. No answer he got. In the end he gave up asking questions, and preferred to fight to connect with life.

"Rone .... You better check again in the hospital so that the results are accurate."

"This tool is ninety-eight percent accurate. My future is ruined, Jean!"

"Gue once read that people with HIV can still live long. Tomorrow I'll check you out?"

Randy's eyes widened to hear Jeany's earnest offer. He who was in the dark now seemed to find a ray of light. "really? You want to get me?"

Jeany nodded without hesitation. He looked at Randy who looked so devastated. Who would have thought that in the blood of that young man was flowing a deadly virus? It's really like a dream.

"Since Claudia got AIDS, my life wasn't quiet until eating wasn't tasteful." Randy begins his story with a blank look, with no more tears. "There was a time when I gave up chasing your love. But there are also times when I can forget the problem and assume all is well. Until I heard Claudia died. I've been stressed to fever for days."

"Want you lately skinny."

"In the end I don't deserve you, Jean." The young man smiled sadly.

"Read more, Ran. Lo a good man. If there's no feeling for Kevin yet, I'd have accepted you."

"Even though I used to be a jerk?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Thank you, Jean-lo, no disgust to me."

"Gue is not a saint either, but he must be disgusted."

The young man smiled at Jeany's words. "Please don't tell anyone. I'm not ready for people to know my disgrace. I'm not ready to be shunned ...."

"Yes, Ran, I understand."

"Thank you." Randy long enough looked at Jeany before sighing heavily. "Gue go home first. Tomorrow you'll be my friend?"

"Yes." Yeah."

Randy and Jeany get up from the couch and walk forward. They almost reached the door when a young man they knew barged in with an angry look. Both were shocked.

"What are you doing inside?!" Kevin can barely control his urge to punch Randy.

"Kevin? Are you healed? Your head is gapapa? Why did you come here?" Jeany, driven by worry, asked the young man's condition.

"The answer is my question, Jean. What are you guys doing?"

"Nothing. Just talk for a minute."

"Inside? Even me whose boyfriend you've never allowed in!"

"That's ...." Jeany glanced at Randy. The young man who glanced at him shook his head with a pleading face.

"Can't answer?" Kevin turns to Randy and pulls the collar off his best friend's shirt. "Why did my boyfriend end up???"

"Nothing to say." Randy's face was empty. Some of him hoped Kevin would kill him right then and there, but others said he wasn't ready for death.

"Vin, you have to believe me and Randy didn't do anything!" Jeany quickly grabbed onto Kevin's hand, pulling him off his grip on Randy's collar.

"Trus why can't you answer, Jean? What are you doing with this jerk???"

"Hahaha I'm an asshole. I deserve a punishment ...." Randy laughed to himself.

Randy's answer made Kevin clench his fist and point it at his best friend's face. Jeany caught Kevin's hand, clutching it tightly before the fist landed on Randy's face. "Stop, Vin, stop!! Randy is sick!!" the girl screamed in despair.

"ill? What pain?" kevin asked with a confused face. At that moment, he felt pain in his head. Jeany was immediately anxious to see the pain on her lover's face.

"What's wrong with you, Vin? Come on, sit down!"

Kevin brushed it off rudely. His movements began to fade. "No need! Answer Randy what a pain!"

"Now I can't tell you. But you have to trust me, Vin."

"KEVIN!"

Henny, who was in the hospital, found Kevin's room empty, rushed to find his son. He doesn't waste any time catching up with Kevin knowing there's nowhere else his son goes but where Jeany lives. After asking Marvin, Henny immediately told Agus the driver to drive him to the girl's address.

THE PLAQUE!

"You are a bad influence on my son! Don't you know she's not healed yet???" Henny immediately slaps Jeany without being prevented by Kevin.

"Ma! Don't blame Jeany, I'm here myself!"

Henny looked at her son in disbelief. "You dare to snatch mama now?"

Kevin held his head. The pain that was taking her in was becoming more and more.

"Kevin? What's the matter, son?"

"Vin, what's wrong with you?"

Henny and Jeany both hold Kevin. Mama Kevin was immediately pushing Jeany hatefully.

"Surge you! Don't come near my son anymore! Kevin, let's go to the hospital now, son." Henny led her son to the car. Agus who saw rushed to help.

Before leaving, Kevin looked back. "I go first, Jean," she said to her lover. Despite the pain, he smiled so that the girl was not too anxious.

"You need to heal, Vin!" Jeany answered her lover with a prank.

Kevin smiled and nodded. Jeany felt very sad to see her lover walking weakly while being led by her mother and also the driver entered the car. Afterwards the car drove quickly away from the boarding house of the girl.

"Sorry yes, Jean because I'm Kevin so misunderstood." Randy's voice sounded no less sad. "But I'm not ready yet she knows my illness."

"Father, Ran. I'm sure Kevin's not a petty person."

The next day, Randy and Jeany hope that the results of the self-test that was done by Randy wrong turned out not to be a reality. The results of an examination at a hospital in Central Jakarta stated that Randy had tested positive for HIV infection.

"How long can I live, Doc?" ask Randy who has resigned to the results of the examination.

"The blood test results showed CD4 numbers of five hundred, meaning the condition of the younger brother is still quite good. Life expectancy is still very high, of course, with the help of drugs to make the virus can not develop in the body. Many of my patients have lived with HIV for years. I'll do a resistance test before prescribing the drug."

Luckily the doctor gave an explanation that strengthens Randy's life spirit. People with HIV can still live a normal life even though they have to take the drug for a lifetime. If possible, Jeany will accompany Randy in the treatment process. The presence of the girl made Randy avoid the depression that is usually experienced by HIV patients.

I don't know how long it's been without seeing Kevin. Jeany got word that the young man had been discharged from the hospital and was outpatient at home. The news was a little happiness for him. After making a handover with the cashier who worked the afternoon shift, the girl came home from work with steps that felt lighter than in previous days.

He was intercepted by Henny who had been waiting for him outside the restaurant.

"Can we talk there?" Henny pointed at a cafe not far from the restaurant. Jeany.

Kevin's mom doesn't mince words anymore. He did not wait until the drinks he ordered came.

"The bleeding in Kevin's brain wasn't severe at first, but yesterday's incident left him with a long time to heal. The doctor said it could be fatal if he dropped again. Can be paralyzed, comatose or worse, die."

Both of Jeany's eyes were rounded to hear the condition of her lover. "Then what does Aunt call me?"

"You've got to help me persuade Kevin to go to Singapore."

"To Singapore?"

"So Kevin gets calm and can quickly forget you. The choice is only two. You give up, or I. I can't give up."

"I can't either, Auntie," Jeany said firmly.

"Kevin's treatment took a long time and cost a lot. I will never be able to support your relationship. One day Kevin will leave the house again and if that happens maybe the conditions will be much worse than now. You want that to happen?"

Jeany bit her lip and looked at Henny full of supplications. "Then please bless us, Auntie ...."

"I can't. Every time I look at your face I always remember my husband's sins. It took me a long time to forget about it and I had to see a lot of psychiatrists. I don't want to live that depressed anymore."

"But I'm not a comfort woman ...."

"No need to act. You and Stevi are the same! It looks good just up ahead!"

"I have to how to prove to Auntie that I'm not like that?"

"Just prove that if you really love Kevin, you want him to heal and live happily. I am the mother who gave birth to her, while you are just a woman who has not been with her for a long time. Kevin needs his family more."

Jeany was still speechless, unable to make any decisions. The drink he had given him was not touched at all

"Think carefully. Kevin's future should be bright. It's not hard living with a girl like you."

Henny called the waiter and asked for the bill. He handed me a hundred thousand. After that, he left Jeany who was still sitting with tears flowing down her cheeks. He knew the girl needed time to think.
