One Night's Mistakes (Love's Wrong)

One Night's Mistakes (Love's Wrong)
Worrying

The news of Kevin's accident that night shocked all members of the Wijaya family. When papa Kevin, Marvin, Winda and Jovina were ready to go to the hospital, Kevin's mother was out and out of the toilet because of a sudden stomachache.

"If you like this Mama at home, wait for news from papa. Vina is also at home just accompany your mother," said papa Kevin.

"Son, Pa. Mama would go crazy if she had to be at home waiting for news from you. Mama wants to come along" Henny replied as she picked up her bag.

"I want to see Kevin, too, Pa!" whining Jovina.

"Yes let's go now" Alan broke up, realizing he would not be able to get his wife and daughter to comply.

"Jean, sign Enzo first yes, then sister kabari," said Winda to Jeany.

"Yes, sister," replied Jeany resigned.

The girl sighed uneasily. He also wanted to go to the hospital and see his girlfriend. But there is nothing he can do if his position in the house is only a babysitter. He closed his eyes and prayed.

Oh my God please take care of Kevin so he's okay ....

Kevin's family immediately went to the Hospital Emergency Unit mentioned by the person who called them earlier.

"Excuse me, we're Kevin Wijaya's family. How's my son doing now, Doc?" papa Kevin said in a hurry.

"The son of a patient who was in a car accident?"

"Yes yes, Doc is my son!"

The face of the young doctor turned sympathetic. "Patients have severe collisions and neck fractures."

All of Kevin's family held their breaths hearing the doctor's exposure to Kevin's condition which sounded very severe.

"We have tried our best, but the injury suffered by the son of the Father was too fatal. Patient, sir, ma'am, we're sorry that your son and I can't be saved."

Henny slumped straight to the floor as her legs were no longer strong enough to support her weight. He cried hysterically hearing that his second son was gone. Winda and Jovina cried while hugging each other.

Alan and Marvin looked pale. But as a man they are stronger to accept the bad news. Alan rubbed his face many times before asking, "can I see my son's body, Doc?"

An officer escorted Kevin's family to the mortuary. Henny insisted on joining even though she had to walk with a step while being held by her daughter and daughter-in-law. All the way from the ER to the mortuary, Kevin's mom didn't stop crying.

Only Alan and Marvin entered the mortuary. They approached the body designated by the officer. With trembling hands, Kevin pulled the white cloth covering the corpse that had been covered with blood. Her tears could no longer be held back.

"God ...."

Alan and Marvin both cried to see the body. The wound was so severe that the two men could not bear to see it. But they were crying because the great tension they had felt had now turned into a tremendous relief when they saw the corpse was not the figure they thought it was.

"I apologize for this mistake" said the young doctor, bowing his body repeatedly.

Apparently there were two patients who were victims of the accident who entered the Emergency Unit of the hospital. It just so happens that the two have something in common: male and young. The guard doctor thought the patient who died was what was meant by Kevin's family because there were no relatives who came

"It's okay, Doc, I get it. Where is my son now?"

"The patient has been moved to the treatment room. Father's son must be hospitalized because of a collision in the head and vomiting. X-ray results on the head are good no cracks in the skull bones. Tomorrow I'll give you a referral for a CT scan so that you can see if there's bleeding or not."

"Thank you very much, Doc."

Inside the treatment room, Kevin who was already asleep due to the effects of the medicine seemed to be awaited by a middle-aged man. That man took Kevin to the hospital and took care of all the administrative needs for Kevin's care. He also gave the young man's family information about the accident.

"I apologize for my negligence in getting your son hurt. I am ready to take responsibility for all medical expenses" said the man. He was the driver of the car from the opposite direction. Before the accident, the man was driving while replying to a message on his cell phone, making the car he was driving pass the road divider and into Kevin's steering lane.

"That's all that matters my son survived. I thank you for taking my son to the hospital" said Kevin. Seeing the good faith of the man, Kevin's family chose to solve the problem of the accident in a family manner.

After a discussion, it was decided Marvin was the one guarding Kevin that night. The other members of Kevin's family went home to rest. In the house Jeany was still waiting anxiously. Holding Enzo who was not yet asleep, he waited for Kevin's parents to enter his room before approaching Winda.

"Where is Kevin, brother? He's okay, right? What's the wound?"

Winda had only taken a few steps into the house but Jeany had attacked Kevin's brother-in-law with many questions at once. Winda smiled at Jeany's attitude. It seemed that the girl was very worried about her sister-in-law.

"Kevin gapapa really, but it must be copied and tomorrow is done further examination because his head hit."

"O Lord thank God ...." Jeany closed her mouth to hold back her stuffing. He should have loved to hear Kevin was okay, but he was crying. Winda hugs Jeany to calm her down.

"Don't be sad, Brother ... Brother Kevin congratulations on just bruising his cheek!"

"Sir Jeany knows, it was in the hospital really great! So, don't you remember that!"

Jovina spoke while laughing. Jeany was astonished to see Winda also laughing. Are the two of them not feeling sad about Kevin? But he became the next one to laugh after hearing the story from Jovina. Jeany laughed as she wiped her tears. Although he was able to laugh, he was still very worried about Kevin. The feeling was even more agonizing because he could not see directly the state of his lover.

The next morning Henny and Jovina go to the hospital to replace Marvin looking after Kevin. Papa Kevin did not come because he had a meeting with his business partner that morning. Winda was unable to leave because he had to enter the office. While Jeany of course has to do his job looking after Enzo.

Later tonight. Yeah, tonight I have to figure out a way to see Kevin, Jeany is determined.

The car driving Henny and Jovina was just about to exit the gate when another car pulled up in front of the fence. A beautiful girl was seen getting out of the car.

"That's Stevi, Ma! His girlfriend's brother Kevin!" jovina told her mother.

Yes, Stevi ignored Kevin's ban on coming to see his mother. The girl still wants to meet Kevin's parents and introduce herself as the young man's lover. She is not the type of woman who can be thrown away.

Hearing the information from his daughter, Henny immediately turned her head and watched Stevi closely. Pretty, he thought.

"Surely he doesn't know your brother is in the hospital yet. Come on, you guys."

Jovina comes down and goes to Stevi. The girl looked very surprised and rushed into the car. He sat next to Henny.

"Tante, I'm sorry I just introduced myself now" Stevi told Kevin's mom. Her eyes looked red withstanding the cries as it was very worrying for Kevin.

Henny smiled gently at Stevi and patted the back of the girl's hand.

"You don't have to worry, Kevin is fine. Fortunately, you came at the right time. Kevin must be so happy to have visited this beautiful girlfriend early in the morning."

"Aunty could be ...." Stevi blushed pretty praised by Henny. In his heart he smiled happily because it seemed to have succeeded in taking the heart of Kevin's mother.

When the three women arrived at the hospital, Kevin was not yet awake. According to the doctor, the young man had recently been traumatized so he needed longer sleep to recover his body.

While waiting for Kevin to wake up, Henny invites Stevi to chat because of curiosity about the love story of his second son.

"Stevi's been dating my son?"

"It's been five months, Auntie."

"It's been a while since Kevin didn't tell auntie. Who comes close first?"

"Maybe he's shy, Auntie. Kevin first ..." Stevi replied with a clumsy smile.

"I wonder how Kevin approached you. In fact, I had thought that Jeany, whose boyfriend Kevin, had never previously brought a girl to the house anyway.." said Henny with a small laugh.

"Sister Kevin is different from Jeany" said Jovina nodding in agreement.

Stevi clasped her fingers tightly until her long well-kept nails pierced her skin. But he ignored the pain in his palm, because the pain in his heart dominated his mind.

Jeany Again ....

"Ugh ...."

There was the sound of Kevin starting to wake up but still heavy to open his eyes. The three people who were waiting for him immediately came over. Stevi was the closest to Kevin.

"Yes, wake ... It's me" said the girl, clasping Kevin's hand.

Kevin opened his eyes. His vision was blurred before slowly showing the familiar face of the girl.

"Stevi?"

Stevi nodded her head with a full smile.

"Yes it's me. Thank goodness you were conscious. How are you feeling now?"

Kevin just frowned because he felt pain in the right head.

"Kevin, you're making my mom anxious, son! Where is it still sick? Mom, call the doctor!"

"Sister Kevin! Huhuhuhu finally Brother Kevin woke up too ...."

Jovina hugged her sister. After Jovina took off her embrace, Kevin saw the girl and Henny alternated with a confused face.

Patience ... Hold the emotion first yes, Friends 🤗
