One Night's Mistakes (Love's Wrong)
DB 14 - What Matters Me and You Are Happy

Revan was stunned to see Vivian crying for the second time that night. Believe it or not, for nine years in a relationship with Vivian, never once had she seen the woman shed tears. Vivian's heart is like made of diamond that is hard and not easily scratched.

But now the diamond seems to lose its rigidity. It caused regret in Revan's mind. Had he been wiser and not rash to throw a divorce, his wife would not have felt hurt to cry sobbing like now.

Without a second thought he immediately hugged Vivian's body, hoping that the woman would get a sense of comfort from their docked body. An apology was just about to be uttered from his lips when he suddenly heard an unexpected sentence.

"You're too good, Rev. I don't deserve to be your wife."

"Why say that?" revan was surprised. "Nobody deserves to be my wife but you."

"I've been acting really bad as a wife."

"I'm not a perfect husband either."

Revan hugged Vivian tighter. The woman closed her eyes and enjoyed the warmth she felt from the embrace. With her face attached to her husband's chest, she poured out the contents of the heart that had been stored tightly.

"I've been trying so hard to have a brilliant career so that your parents are not ashamed to introduce me as a daughter-in-law. Since you know my family—" Vivian paused for a moment to look for the right words. "Nothing special about my family."

It was a shocking confession to Revan. Prior to this, she considered Vivian an ambitious woman pursuing a career to be willing to sacrifice time for family. All this time he thought his wife who had high self-esteem was refusing all facilities from him because she did not want to be considered a double eye by others. He did not think it was all Vivian did because she felt inferior to face her rich family.

"That's just your feeling. My parents never took issue with your family background."

"If it wasn't for your omens, maybe we wouldn't be able to get married. Your parents didn't approve."

"They're just disappointed that I rejected a long-standing arranged marriage, which has absolutely nothing to do with your family."

The desperate tone in Vivian's voice made Revan release a hug. Both of his hands held his wife's cheeks and raised the grim-looking face to look at her. "Why are you so pessimistic? Where's Vivian who's always so passionate and doesn't care what people say?"

Vivian looked back at her husband with sad eyes. "I don't know why, when it comes to your family I can't be careless."

"Because you're overthinking. Vi, this household we're living. Don't think about other people's opinions. What matters is that you and I are happy."

Vivian is desperate to deny when Revan calls it thinking too much. But he chose to remain silent. Their relationship has not completely improved. If they continue to argue with each other, their marriage may actually end.

In order to maintain their sacred bond, he will learn not to care too much about the Revan family's attitude towards him. "Yes." Yeah." She gave her husband a gentle look. "I think it's important that you and I be happy."

Revan and Vivian smiled at each other. Then, no matter who started, the lips of the two fused together, clenching each other in the same longing. Desire and longing that had been hidden for days they poured out in the kiss. Unsatisfied with their position, Revan laid Vivian's body on the sofa and again fondled his wife without pause.

The tongue that tickled her neck and the wildly moving hand on her chest made Vivian's body heat up. He retaliated by sipping and biting slowly on Revan's neck, sending a tremendous sensation all over the man's body.

Impatiently Revan revealed the skirt Vivian was wearing. The arousing passion within him must be resolved immediately. But what he saw made him freeze on the spot.

"You still coming to the moon?" The man asked with a battered face.

Vivian's eyes widened. "God! I forgot!"

Revan fell silent with an expression that was difficult to explain. Only his breath was heard. Vivian was aware of the suffering her husband was going through. The woman immediately got up. He led the body of the husband to sit on the sofa, replacing him who was lying there.

"Tonight let me spoil you" she said with a teasing smile, then crouched down in front of her husband. That night Vivian really made Revan happy.
