One Night's Mistakes (Love's Wrong)

One Night's Mistakes (Love's Wrong)
From Now on Forget That Night's Happenings

Kevin had just arrived at his house after driving Stevi home. Last afternoon he took his lover for a walk to help him forget for a moment his sadness. Stevi's face was proven again sumringah after the young man bought her a branded watch with a sprinkling of swarovski crystals on the inside of a glass-covered watch. His girlfriend is a fan of watches.

On the second floor of his house, Kevin stops in front of Jeany's room, hesitating whether or not he wants to knock on her door because he sees that the room light has been turned off. He saw his watch showing at half ten in the night. The young man did not want to interrupt Jeany's break just for the trivial business that could be done the next day. He decided to go into his own room.

"Just come home, Vin?" Winda said hello before Kevin's room door closed perfectly.

Hearing Winda's voice, Kevin opened the door of his room wide.

"Yes, Brother. It's been Stevi's walk."

"Oh. Brarti Jeany didn't come home with you, did she?"

"Engga. Did he leave?"

"Yes. Once Brother came home he immediately wanted to come out. There's business he said."

"Trus has he come home yet?"

"Yet. I thought the brother who just came home was Jeany, it was you."

Kevin's face turned anxious. "Where is he going" the young man murmured as he pulled out a cell phone from inside his denim trouser pocket. He calls Jeany but the girl's phone is off.

"Kok he didn't tell me if he wanted to go, I could take him. It's been a night like this to find where to try," said Kevin annoyed mixed with anxiety.

"Maybe you won't bother Stevi."

Kevin complained in his heart. His own fault also left without saying goodbye to Jeany. But it was also because he did not find the girl when he was about to leave. Finally he just sent a conversation message that reported him accompanying Stevi for a walk. The message has not been read by Jeany to date.

"Silver did not ask more clearly. You don't think he's going to be home at this hour."

Kevin could clearly see that his sister-in-law also felt the same worry as him. The thought of Jeany leaving alone at night and has not returned, made Kevin's stomach suddenly heartburn. "I'm out looking for him first" he concluded.

"Yes, but be careful. If there's anything, call brother or sister Marvin immediately."

"okay."

Kevin did say he wanted to find Jeany, but he didn't know where to look. He circled around his residence. He had surrounded the sub-district which was once a swamp, but had not found the whereabouts of the girl he was looking for.

The young man stopped in front of a shop that had closed. He pulled out his phone, wanted to call someone.

"Damn!" he said when he realized there was no one to ask about Jeany. The girl lived a long time without friends and family. Then she remembered Serly, Jeany's beautiful older sister.

A good possibility that remains is that the girl went home to her boarding house. Kevin immediately drove his car. He must quickly make sure Jeany is indeed in the room, in order to immediately get rid of the disturbing feelings that he feels tormenting his mind.

Not long ago, his phone rang. The security guard at his parents' house called.

"Sir Darto, how?" ask Kevin expectantly.

"Non Jeany is home, Den."

The young man immediately breathed a sigh of relief. "Okay, thanks for the info, sir."

Fortunately, he had asked the security guard at his parents' house to give the news as soon as Jeany returned. Just look out for the girl, he thought. He needs to make it clear that the behavior of Jeany who left without news and could not be contacted as before must be the first and last.

Upon arriving at his house, Kevin immediately knocks on Jeany's bedroom door, impatiently wanting to talk to the girl.

"What's wrong?" jeany asked with a flat face after opening the door of her room.

"Where did you end up?"

"There's business."

"Why didn't you tell me you wanted to go?"

"Make what?"

"Yes, let me take you."

"I can go alone."

"Next time don't sift that again. I'm really worried to know that it's not right Sister Winda said you haven't come home yet. I almost went to your boarding house because I don't know where to find you anymore."

Jeany's facial features expressed concern for a while. Not long after, the girl's face came back cold. "No one wants to talk about it anymore I go to bed first."

"Wait!"

Kevin's gaze descended upon Jeany's pointed nose, then her small but filled lips. The young man gulped his saliva. He immediately lowered his sight. Then he saw the beautiful neck of the girl who was now clearly plastered to the collarbone, because of the wide collar of sleeping clothes she wore.

"Where is your necklace?"

"What necklace?" Jeany subconsciously touched her neck.

"The one you used to wear."

"I don't wear a necklace."

"I've seen you wear it."

Kevin doesn't understand why Jeany lied to him. At the same time, Jeany also did not understand how the young man could find out that he had been wearing a necklace, because the necklace was always hidden under his clothes. Even if occasionally popped out, usually men will not pay attention to such detail.

"That's your papa's necklace, isn't it?"

The girl flinched. "Kok you know?"

"You said it yourself."

"When did I say?"

Kevin was silent for a moment. Then she answered the girl's question with a question as well. "Are you sure you want me to answer?"

"Yes," said Jeany steady because he did feel never tell the necklace to Kevin.

"When I want to take off your shirt and the necklace is stuck."

Kevin closed his eyes after speaking. He really did not want to bring up the fatal mistake he had done. But Jeany's blatant demeanor of lying to her left her with no other choice. How does he not know the necklace is very important for the girl, if in a state of minimal awareness only the girl is still rummaging, maintaining the necklace she thought to be taken from her.

"Don't take my necklace .... Necklace from Papa ..." Jeany revolted at that time, making Kevin who was being dominated by orgasm silenced him with a kiss.

After the incident that night, without his will, Kevin's eyes will always be accidentally fixed on the neck that he had been stamped, as if to make sure the necklace is still in place.

To his surprise Jeany heard Kevin's story, she could only open her mouth without making a sound. "Do you remember everything that happened that night?" ask her a few moments later.

Kevin nodded. "From start to finish."

"Aren't you unconscious?" Jeany stammered at the shameful thought of what had happened that night, which neither Kevin nor he should have remembered.

"should. I also don't know why I can remember. That's why my guilt is so big."

That fucking guilt again.

"I sold that thing. Satisfied? Now I'm going to sleep."

But Jeany had not had time to close the door, Kevin had pulled his arm until the girl was interested in advancing a few steps closer to him.

"What do you mean you sell? That necklace is important to you, isn't it?"

"I want you to sell it or it's none of your business."

Kevin looked at her in disbelief. Why in half a day could the girl's attitude change so drastically? "If you need money, you can say the same to me. You will change after payday. Why sell your valuables?" The young man was still trying to be patient in the face of Jeany's tough attitude.

"That was my decision. You'd better get out of here from now on that night, escape your guilt, because I'm gonna forget it too."

"What do you mean? You think I want to keep that problem in mind?" Kevin's emotions began to ignite.

"Eat him lupain aja."

Jeany forcibly pulled her arm from Kevin's hand and went into the room, leaving the young man still standing in front of the door. The cold attitude of the girl outside had now disappeared. Jeany dropped herself on the bed hard.

The girl laughed at her own stupidity. He didn't even cry when he saw Kevin make his promise to Stevi. But now, her tears fell without her being able to bear. Because every sharp word he said to the man he loved, made him feel pain.

Why does feeling love have to hurt this much? Why should he love a man he cannot have?

Fortunately, he saw Kevin and Stevi in the park. Perhaps it was a sign from God for him, for he almost shamelessly depended on the young man again.

Earlier the owner of his boarding house called, asking him to help make the payment of the rent of the room in arrears. The son of his mother was admitted to the hospital with dengue fever. Jeany was embarrassed. He who is in debt, but who gives a loan that begs. The last way is to let go of the only jewelry she still has.

Stevi's right. He can't keep depending on Kevin. As the more he was lulled by the young man's kindness towards him, those feelings that shouldn't exist would remain lodged in his heart. Like weeds watered by rain, so does the feeling of love that grows more fertile and painful. Now it's time to cut the weeds.
