Jeany deliberately stalled for time before returning to the room she left behind. He hopes the conversation of the people in the room has changed to another topic. Anything as long as it's not a story of Kevin's affection with his lover.
The girl did not understand why Kevin was looking at her when he came back and sat down on the sofa, and it was no coincidence that the person sitting next to him was Randy.
"Very long, Babe? I almost sucked it out."
Jeany only smiled faintly, not intending to answer.
"Lo's really going to college next semester, Jean?" Stevi desperately hoped the information she heard from Randy was true. Everyone was now focusing on Jeany.
At once Jeany glared her eyes at Randy. He does not like his personal business to be known by many people.
"Ups sorry I'm excited. You're not saying I'm the only one who can know." Randy said grimacingly.
"You don't know either, Yang?" Stevie asked Kevin.
"Engga," replied Kevin flatly.
"I think someone will be there again. Don't forget the treat!" goda Johan is excited. It was good to eat for free, he thought.
"Let's remember the first person I'll tell you. Uh dong, Kevin should know first."
"Why Kevin?"
"He's Jeany's best friend and my best friend, too" replied Randy, stressing.
"Give up but don't be in my hunt back to China for long!"
"Denger well, Babe, don't hang me for a long time huh," said Randy turned to Jeany.
"Lo said he has not had lunch, hunted order to eat gih! It's recommended in my opinion," said Kevin interjected. He gave a brochure containing the menu of his favorite restaurant in the apartment. What more purpose if not to divert the conversation. He has done it twice in the near future.
Kevin looked towards Jeany. The girl was watching him too. Their eyes clashed with each other for a while before the girl finally threw away the gaze from seeing the real anger at the young man's gaze.
Everyone was now busy looking through some brochures given by Kevin.
"Lo's the catch for the kids, San!" devi's Order.
Sandra followed her best friend's request. He recorded one by one the menu that his friends wanted to order. He called the restaurant to send a message. While waiting for the food to be ordered, they enjoy the snacks brought by Randy.
"We're not playing cards?" bring the young man.
"It's still time for maen remi?"
"That's why I don't know how."
"Maen the other cake is more exciting!"
Everyone voiced their opinions, except for Jeany. He felt uncomfortable being among them, wanting to go home but found no good reason. Kevin realizes it, but he can't do anything about it because Stevi is always clinging to him. He was upset with the girl anyway. His frustration grew after seeing Jeany now engrossed in chatting with Randy.
"Geez, Stev, how come your face has pimples?" show Devi who just realized the change in her best friend's face.
"Eh ma-masa?"
Stevie held her face nervously. He had tried to cover the acne with concealer, but apparently the effort did not give the results he wanted.
"Don't you match the cream from the clinic?" Sandra also questioned the appearance of pimples on Stevi's face.
"Gu-gue hasn't bought out of Singapore yet."
"Tomorrow I'll buy it. You can't neglect to take care of your face. Ntar guy lo seduced by another girl whose face is smoother how?" Devi again insinuates Jeany.
"Hahaha calm down Kevin will not turn away just because of such trivial things, Stev! Unless there's something else bigger ...." Randy's words surprised everyone there.
"What do you mean, Ran?" ask Johan curiously.
"Yes, for example, she accidentally killed another girl ...."
"Kevin can't cheat, Ran. I believe in him" Stevi said, hiding his disbelief.
"Husss, don't say anything! I don't know Kevin. Only Stevi can move her heart until she wants to date, how the story is she can memgehamilin other girls," Johan also said.
"Yes, if Kevin sleeps with other girls, most cheap girls trap him!" Devi's most extreme words made all heads turn to her.
"Hehehe patient dong. I said for example ...."
"Lo is worried about yourself, Ran. How do you know one of your girls is pregnant," Kevin replied furious.
"I'm always going to use safety if I'm going to, while lo-"
Stevi was caught off guard by the overly outspoken conversation. So did Devi and Sandra who became imagining Randy's actions in their minds. As for Jeany, the girl's face paled but she tried to look ordinary. He was the hardest hit by the words of everyone who was there.
"I went to the toilet first, Yang." Stevi moved from her seat to walk to the toilet. But just a few steps walk, he was confused to turn left or right.
"To the left" Kevin told him.
Just like Jeany, Stevi went to the toilet to calm herself down. He was very embarrassed by the condition of his face which is now acne. While Jeany, which he considered the biggest rival in romance, has a smooth skin until without powder polish, it looks good. The financial problem is now not possible to buy a package of face cream from a subscription beauty clinic that is quite expensive.
After coming from the toilet, Stevi decided to look at her face in the mirror of the sink near the toilet. There are two new additions there. The girl sighed, agitated by the state of her facial skin. He must immediately buy the face cream before his face is getting crushed.
His eyes accidentally caught a small object that was only used by women. It was tucked behind a bottle of hand soap. He took the thing and watched it. A peach-colored lipstick that looks new, may only be used several times to polish the lips of the owner. And certainly the price of lipstick is not more than fifty thousand rupiah, because Stevi recognizes the brand as a cheap brand but quite quality. The girl pecked with various bad thoughts in her mind.
Not wanting to guess again, Stevi brought the lipstick into the front room. He knows the rift of a relationship is caused by a lack of communication. Therefore he did not want any misunderstandings just for fear of asking. Until now he still strongly believes if the lover is loyal to him.
Stevi sat down next to Kevin and immediately questioned him. "Who's this?"
DEG!
Jeany's face grew pale as she saw her lipstick in Stevi's grasp. The girl closed her eyes regretting her stupidity. He had twice the chance to take the lipstick, yesterday and then, but had no thought of doing so at all. Stupid you, Jeany!
"Oh it's my brother's, '" replied Kevin lying. The young man did not know there was any lipstick left in his apartment. But he knew who the owner was, because there was only one girl he had ever invited into his residence.
Devi looked at Jeany suspiciously. Since Jeany walked to the toilet, she had felt something strange. Jeany seemed to know the location of the toilet. Stevi finds a lipstick in Kevin's apartment, an item Jeany once said to have lost. He doesn't think it's a coincidence.
"Your sister comes here often?" ask Stevi again.
"Rarely, only if there's a need."
"Oh yeah, don't forget to turn around, who knows he still wants to use."
Kevin kept the lipstick in his bag. He secretly breathed a sigh of relief because Stevi believed him. The girl now sat with her head resting on Kevin's shoulder.
"Who, sleepy ...," he said spoiled.
"Don't gini, Stev, it's not good to see you guys."
"It's normal, Vin. Just a head, too" said Devi.
"Well, Vin, we all know when you're dating" Johan added.
Randy did not participate in the conversation because he was busy taking Jeany's heart. The girl was very enthusiastic about their current chat topic.
"Lo has the title Murder of Roger Ackroyd, Ran?!"
How not enthusiastic, he has long wanted to read the novel with the title, one of the titles that is claimed to be the best work of the author of his favorite novel.
"There's dong .... My collection is complete!"
"Can I borrow it?"
"What do you do? Tomorrow I'm anterin to kos lo ya?"
"Ehm ...." Jeany was worried, wanted the book but didn't want the young man to come to his cost.
"Or do you take mo in my house?"
"Hm .... That's why I borrowed it."
"Hahaha you don't believe me very much. I'm going to prove that I've changed."
That's the kind of talk they do in a slow voice. But in Kevin's eyes, Jeany and Randy are having a friendly conversation. He did not refuse when Stevi asked him to rub the girl's head, which of course did not escape Jeany's attention.
When the ordered food comes and they enjoy lunch, Kevin again holds back from being upset to see Jeany exchanging side dishes with Randy. Though the girl just moved the vegetables she did not want to eat to Randy's plate, just so as not to be wasted.
They did not gather too long in Kevin's apartment, deliberately wanting to give the young man alone time with his lover. Of course, the proposal comes from Devi to help her best friend's romantic relationship.
"Vin, we go home first. You're taking Stevi home, right?" randy asked, who didn't want to be away from Jeany.
"Yes my boyfriend let me deliver."
One simple sentence from Kevin but painful to Jeany. The girl could only stop. He is wrong to love someone else's lover.
Everyone came out of Kevin's apartment, except Stevi, who was to be escorted home by the young man. Jeany came out last. His longing made him want to talk to the young man, even if it was only a few words. At least ask if he has really recovered from his pain. But when he turned his head, what he saw from the door that was still open was the sight of Stevi who was hugging the lover tightly.
Jeany immediately turned her face away. Her eyes were hot as it held back the tears. Suddenly Randy wrapped his arm around the girl's shoulder. "You don't have to be sad" she whispered in Jeany's ear.
Hugged by Stevi, Kevin sees Randy embracing Jeany. He saw the girl's departure with anger and tightness in the chest. So does Jeany who left Kevin's apartment with an additional wound in his heart.
