A Few More Days

Stevi opened her eyes after falling asleep for a long time. At that moment, his gaze also turned. He closed his eyes again, trying to remember why he could be where he was lying at the moment.

"Stev, how are you doing now? Should I call you a nurse?"

The voice of a young man she knew surprised her. Why was it that the young man was accompanying her there, not the mother?

Stevi had no intention of suicide. Although there has recently been a desire to disappear from the world, he does not have enough courage to take his own life. Last night he just wanted to quickly fall asleep by downing more sleeping pills than usual, without thinking about the continued effects he would receive.

The girl noticed Kevin who still looked dazzling in her eyes. The young man was also looking at himself until now the two looked at each other.

Mama Stevi came and brought Kevin lunch.

Kevin just grimaced hearing Stevi's mom sayings. While the girl continued to eat, although Kevin had seen her smile cynically. The young man quickly finished his meal and bailed home.

At home, Kevin was greeted by his mother who had returned from Hong Kong. Mama Kevin has heard the news about her son's lover from his daughter-in-law.

"How's your boyfriend doing, son?"

"Udah is better, Ma. Maybe tomorrow I can go home."

Kevin just reasoned. Actually, he wanted to see Jeany immediately and give an explanation. The girl he was looking for was standing on the balcony of the room, enjoying a gust of wind while waiting for the baby he guarded to wake up from his nap. The young man walked slowly until he stood right beside Jeany. Apparently the girl was busy with her own thoughts to the point of not realizing Kevin's arrival.

As quickly as lightning Kevin peeked at Jeany's cheek, making the girl look surprised.

"Definitely think of me again?" guess Kevin with a smile.

"Bare you?" Kevin brought his face closer to the face of the lover.

Jeany shifted a little. "That's it," he liked. "Where's Stevi? Why didn't you come home last night? Why not tell me? I was worried to know all night ...."

Kevin laughed at Jeany who suddenly became chatty. But a moment later the look on his face turned serious. He told Stevi everything he had experienced for Jeany. The girl covered her mouth with her hands, in reaction to her shock and sympathy for her love rival.

Jeany nodded, though it was hard for her to let Kevin return as another girlfriend. But as a fellow woman, she understood very well Stevi's hurt feelings due to Kevin's betrayal, and she took part in it.
