Are You Pregnant?

Jeany sat on Kevin's apartment sofa with a pale face. He had just spewed out his entrails in the bathroom, witnessed by Kevin who helped massage his nape solely to make the girl feel comfortable. Jeany sighed in heart. Why does Kevin always see him when he's in bad shape?

"Jean, drink this first let your stomach eat. Be careful of the heat," said Kevin when giving a glass of sweet tea that he just made.

"Thank you."

Kevin watched Jeany little by little sip the sweet tea she was giving. The girl's face looks tired. He remembered his sister-in-law had also been vomiting in the early days of conceiving Enzo. Kevin jerks.

"Jean, don't you get pregnant?" kevin stared intently at Jeany.

"That's impossible!" Jeany immediately dismissed Kevin's suspicions. How could she have been pregnant if only last week she had come.

"You know that vomiting is one of the symptoms of pregnancy?"

"Wouldn't you be pregnant?"

They both became bickering. Kevin stands next to the sofa leaning against the wall, trying to ease the pain of Jeany's groundless accusations.

As for the girl, she was still sitting on the sofa, blaming herself for having spoken out too late to Kevin. For a while the two silenced, afraid that the words that came out would actually make them hurt each other.

"Sorry my talk is outrageous." Jeany finally apologized.

"Kok can you think of that?" Apparently Kevin's still inflamed. He remains in a standing position.

"Would you like a bed first in the room?"

Jeany immediately rejected Kevin's offer. He said it was inappropriate for a woman to go into a man's room. If not for feeling like vomiting, he also did not want to go into Kevin's apartment.

"Well, do you eat first? After vomiting your stomach must be filled again."

"No need, Vin. It's too late for us."

Kevin did not answer. He walked into the kitchen, opened the cupboard and picked up a few packets of biscuits. "It's like eating this first" she told Jeany.

Jeany ate two packs of biscuits and finished her tea. "Let's go, Vin," he asked Kevin.

The man looked at Jeany's face carefully. "Are you sure you want to leave? Your face is pale."

Jeany then stood up and walked towards the sink mirror. He saw his face in the mirror. Kevin says his face is pale. Apparently the lipstick on her lips had been erased as a result of her vomiting earlier. The girl took the bag and took out all the contents so that she could reach for the lipstick inserted at the very inside.

When the girl smeared lipstick, Kevin received a call on his phone.

"Yes, my brother is in the apartment. Did it start, huh? It's going there." Kevin's voice is heard which Jeany allegedly is talking to Jovina.

In a hurry the girl stuffed her things back into the bag. He immediately took Kevin off. "Come, Vin!"

Jeany just smiled awkwardly. Had Kevin known that his words had made the girl's heart beat so fast and agonizing.

They arrive at a fancy restaurant that is also often used as a place for wedding receptions. The parking lot was filled with the vehicles of the invited guests. Jeany saw many luxury cars parked there.

They walked towards the entrance of the restaurant. A large inscription "Happy First Birthday Kenzo Wijaya" welcomed their arrival. The girl could hear the atmosphere so lively inside the restaurant. He's getting nervous.

"Why, Jean? Nausea again?" kevin asked after giving the gift he and Jeany brought to the restaurant staff who were also party organizers near the entrance of the restaurant.

Because it came late and the location of the table is the front, Kevin and Jeany contact the attention of several pairs of eyes. Moreover, they walked while holding hands.
