Chapter 85: Training From Owen

“Arghh!!"

William rolled on the ground in pain after failing to dodge Owen's attack.

"Does it hurt?" Owen asked as he turned the wooden stick in his hand. “Unfortunately, I do not plan to heal your wounds.”

William gritted his teeth as he propped himself up from the ground. He then grabbed his own wooden stick, which lay several meters away from him, before facing the old man who had an arrogant expression on his face.

The red-haired boy did not believe that someone as old as Owen was an expert in close combat. He thought that the Life Magus was just a supporting type and greatly underestimated it.

"What's wrong?" Owen asked while holding back a yawn. "That's it?"

William roared as he charged forward. He used the Thunder Disciple's movement technique, “Heavenly Phantasm”, to support Owen before using the “Through” God's War Art that he had learned.

“Connecting, but no substance,” Owen said as he casually carried out a backhand attack that made William fly backwards. “Learning a new profession is certainly fun. But, without a proper foundation, it was simply a skill used for entertainment. ”

William spat blood onto the ground as he stood with trembling legs. He channeled all his strength into his legs and charged forward once more.

When he was only a few meters away from Owen, he immediately stopped and looked behind Old Man's back.

"Hello, Lady Sarah!" William greeted her with a smile.

Owen finished his explanation and returned the pipe to his storage ring.

The children were so amused by William's slow walking that they thought he was playing around. Immediately, the crowd of children, less than twelve years old, walked beside William at a very slow pace.

William could only smile helplessly at the children who reminded him of the younger siblings he had left behind on Earth.

'I wonder how they are?' thought William. 'Belle, is he still thinking of me?'

William sighed as he put these thoughts in his mind. He needs to focus his attention on his training. So the boy walked, and walked, and walked, while the children of Lont laughed beside him.
