When William opened his eyes, he found himself in a strange place.
"Where am I?" William frowned. Although the place was dark, his Night Vision was activated and it helped him scan his surroundings. At first glance, his intuition told him that he should be somewhere underground.
When he tried to move his body, he was surprised to find that his arms and legs were tied by metal chains. He tries to free himself from the bond, but his current strength is not enough to break free.
“Meeeeh!”
A familiar voice reached his ears and William hurriedly looked to his right.
“Mama, are you okay?”
“Meeeeh!”
Ella's legs and neck were tied with chains that made it impossible to break away. Ella was stronger than William, so if she could not break her bond, it would be more impossible for her to do so.
"Finally, you wake up," Celine's voice echoed in the room and William could hear an amused tone within. “Don't bother freeing yourself from that bond. The chain was made from Adamantium and a secret language was installed in its place so you could not use magic.”
"Master, I don't care if you imprison me, but please, let Mama Ella go!" William begged. "You can do whatever you want with me, but don't hurt him!"
“Meeeeh!” Ella disagreed. He would not leave William no matter what happened even if Celine freed him from his shackles.
“Really touched,” replied Celine. “It's the first time I've seen a human..No, Half-Elf calls a goat as his mother. As for your request? Sorry, I have no intention of releasing you two. As your Teacher, I need to properly educate you. Oliver, I'll leave Little Will's basic training to you.”
The Parrot Monkey appeared in the room out of nowhere. It then floated in the air and gave William and Ella a cynical grin.
“Good day, I, Oliver, will be your coach today,” Oliver said. “Your first exercise is to get resistance to curses. Without further adieu, enjoy the first taste of your suffering.”
"Confuses Ray!" Oliver shouted and two rays of red light shot out from his eyes.
The beam hit William's body and the boy's expression instantly loosened. A few seconds later, he shouted and struggled within his bonds. Confuse Ray was one of the skills from the Dark Magician that could make his target go into a berserk state.
William was currently in a state of rampage as he growled and shouted like a madman who lost his mind.
“Meeeeh!”
Ella shouted furiously at the sight of William's current state. Her baby was in a mad state and bruises started to appear on her skin as she tried to break away from the metal chains binding her.
Don't worry, you will also suffer the same fate,” commented Oliver. "Confuses Ray!"
Ella was not spared and a streak of red light struck her, the center of death.
“MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!”
Ella's rampage is more wild than William's. Ella shook her chain no matter if she was bleeding or not. He throws, turns, kicks, and shouts as he transforms into the Angorian War Ibex.
Oliver and Celine watched all of this nonchalantly. As Dark Witches, there were times when they were also subjected to harsh training.
“Oliver, continue to use Confuse Ray on them once they wake up from the daze. You already know how to measure their limits, right? ”
"Yes, madam."
"Good." Celline nodded her head. “I will hand over the first stage of their training to you. Contact me when you're done.”
"With your will, My Lady," Oliver lowered his head in confession.
That day, William had entered a berserk state more than fifty times. He collapsed on his bond with his saliva dripping on the side of his lips. Ella was also in a similar, if not worse, condition.
Owen entered the room with a sigh. He examined William and Ella's current condition before healing the wounds on their bodies. He gave them a special potion filled with nutrients. With this herb, they did not need to eat for three days because the herb was strong enough to supply their bodies with the food they needed to survive.
It was a potion made from the heart, heart, and blood, the Golden Scales Crocodile. Owen had been briefed by Celine about the training regimen she had prepared for William. His job was to heal the wounds they suffered from the training, and ensure that they would not die from hunger and starvation.
'Training for the Black Mage is too harsh, compared to the Life Witch,' Owen sighed as he finished his task. 'I just hope Celine won't destroy the boy with her training.'
A week passed quickly, and finally a group of people walked towards the city of Lont.
"We're finally back" James said, breathing the air of his territory. "My house is my Surga."
James currently sat on the left shoulder of Ourobro (Golden Monkey) and admired the city of Lont from his point of view.
"I'll tell the others about our arrival" said John. His Beast companion, the Blitz, screamed as it flew in front of the group.
"I'll go too" Marcus said as he urged Thunder to increase his speed. James and the eight people left behind took the time to arrive at Lont.
When the gigantic Golden Ape appeared outside the city, everyone became in an uproar. The mighty beast looked so impressive that everyone looked at it in amazement.
Dwayne, who had managed to tame it as his Beast Companion grinned proudly. Among the Thousand Year Old Beasts, the Golden Ape was considered to be in the middle of the SS Grade Spirit Level due to its complete battle prowess.
It was also the only Beast capable of using a Frenzy Skill without losing its rationality.
Skill Frenzy is an upgraded version of Berserk. Berserk skills would strip the user of rationality in return for tripling his strength. Similar to Berserk, Skill Frenzy, on the other hand, would increase the Beast's strength fivefold.
Ourobro is the only Spirit Beast in existence that is immune to the effects of the Frenzy condition, which makes it a lean killing machine on steroids. Some monsters would be able to deal with it and survive its blow with a whole body.
This was why Dwayne begged everyone to help him secure it when an all-out battle was taking place.
James and the others returned to their respective inns to rest after arriving at Lont City. The battle they experienced was quite intense, but the rewards were worth it. The old man was in a good mood and he walked towards Ainsworth Residence while humming a song.
Mordred followed him into the battlefield because he was worried that his father would be carried away by the current if no one held him back. They had left Owen in charge of Lont City as they left, because they knew that they could rely on him to handle everything even if they did not exist.
When the two men arrived at their home, the one who greeted them at the entrance was Helen.
“Welcome Back, Master, and Young Master,” Helen said with a smile.
“Ah, Helen, how is everything?” James asked. "Is my stupid grandson okay?"
"Little Will hasn't been home for a week" Helen said with a worried expression. “She is currently staying at Celine's house. When I went there to check on her, the only one I saw was Celine. He explained that Little Will is undergoing training at the moment and cannot be bothered by anyone.”
"Oh? Exercise, really?” James smiled. "Wait, why did Celine train William?"
"Ah, don't you know it, Mister?" Helen tilted her head in confusion. "I think you are aware that Celine has taken William as her disciple."
"Hoh~" James plays his beard while looking at his son, Mordred.
"Is it true William didn't come home for a week?" Mordred frowned.
"Yes" answered Helen. "Young Master, to be honest, I'm worried about him."
James chuckled and patted Helen on the shoulder. “Alright, I'll check on William for a moment. Make sure to cook my favorite dishes for lunch. I'm hungry, Helen.”
"All right, sir." Helen smiles. "I will prepare a feast for the triumphant return of the Master."
“I'll look forward to it!” James blinked his eyes. He then walked towards the South where Celine's house was located.
