'A mission that sounds ominous, ' William sighed as he finished reading the contents of the quest.

He then returned his attention to the forest and observed it more closely.

The stinging foul-smelling air, while towering trees blocked the sunlight. There is no path to follow. That is, they had to traverse the forest without any navigation.

Of course, this did not apply to William because he had a system with him. Its mapping function comes alive when it displays William's current location on a map. According to his estimates, the forest stretched at least three miles in all directions.

Fortunately, William saw a golden dot flashing in the middle of the map. The red-haired boy assumed that this was the place they had to go to in order to clear the trial. There were also some ominous purple dots moving on the map that gave William a sense of mortal danger.

'I think these purple dots are off limits, ' William thought. 'They may be monsters that fall under the category of Centennial or Millennial Beasts.'

More than thirty purple dots were scattered around the map and they all surrounded the golden dot that William branded as their search destination.

Est, Ian, and Isaac thought William was still in a daze from looking at the space in front of him. Ian did not want to go near her because he felt like beating her, whereas Isaac did not want to offend his sister, so he remained by her side.

As for Est, he scanned the surroundings with a frown. He was quite sensitive to danger and he could feel signs that the terrifying forest housed many powerful entities that could potentially kill them.

“Est, come here for a while,” William said as he gestured for the Young Master to approach.

"Yes?" Est replied as he stopped a meter from William.

“Do you get information about this place from High Priestess?”

"No. But, something called me from within the forest. I believe that this is the place I should head to.”

"Can you tell me which way the feeling is coming from?" William asked.

Est closed his eyes and expanded his senses out. He then pointed in the direction from where the strong attraction was coming from.

William nodded his head because Est had just confirmed his suspicions. The direction he pointed at was exactly where the flashing golden spot was.

“Oke dengerin, we make the rules first before entering the forest,” William said with a serious expression. “I want to elevate myself as the leader of this expedition. Everyone has to follow my orders no matter how irrational it is. ”

"And why should we follow you?" Ian grunting. "We are only obeying Young Master."

William looked at Est and waited for his decision. He knew that Ian would definitely reject his proposal and he also hoped that Isaac would support his brother. However, it was not them who carried out this mission.

As long as Est nodded his head then the twins had no choice but to follow his orders.

“William, since you received this commission, it means I am your employer,” Est raised his head to look at the herdsman riding on top of the Angorian Goat. "Employers have the right to command their subordinates during missions."

Est is a proud man. He was already used to the fact that everyone obeyed his every word. He thought that since William had decided to be part of his group, the shepherd would follow his orders.

Who would have thought that the first thing he would do was to take on the role of leader and ask them to follow his orders. This was something Est would not accept easily.

"Is that so?" William answered casually. “Sorry, I didn't come here to play around with the three of you. If you want to do it your way, then you can do it yourself.”

“K-You! Do you not obey me? ” For the first time in her life, Est feels her authority is being challenged.

“Do not obey you?” William grunting. “Do not treat me as one of your servants. I only have one master and it's not you. ”

Est gritted her teeth as she clenched her teeth in anger.

"So, you finally showed your true face," Ian spat to the ground. “I know that you are a shallow person when I see you. I think I'm right.”

William lazily lay on Ella's back and rested his head on her palm. He then gave Ian a quick glance before giving an answer. “The first time I saw you, I knew that you were a little goblin in disguise. I think I'm right. Even your breath stinks once.”

"You-you!" Ian unsheathed his short sword and was about to attack William when the Angorian Goat stepped forward and formed a battle formation. Their sharp and pointed horns were directed outward.

Clearly, they would not hesitate to attack Ian if he made a move to harm their Master, William. Even Ella changed her form to Angorian War Ibex. His intimidating aura pressured the boy and made him stop.

“Meeeeeeee!” Ella bleated. The color of his horns and nails changed to Mithril blue. His gaze locked onto Ian.

Est could easily tell that War Ibex's gaze was unfriendly. He immediately gestured for Ian to hold on and not provoke the goat any further.

The three children had to admit that even if they joined forces, they would not be a match for Ella and the Angorian goats by her side. Not to mention, William was also a magician. Although they did not know why a magician, like him, acted like a shepherd, they did not doubt his fighting abilities.

“No need to fight each other,” Est said after regaining her composure. “We are not enemies.”

"My condition remains the same" William commented in a lazy tone. “Either I lead this group or we split up here. No room for negotiation.”

Est knew that William had already made his stand and would not change his mind. Right now, he is in a dilemma. Either they conduct a trial with just the three of them or let William do what he wants.

If he chose to complete the experiment with just the three of them, his difficulty would definitely increase. Also, he did not know what kind of danger he would face inside the forest. There is safety in numbers and goats benefit because of their teamwork.

However, he was still struggling deep down because he did not like someone taking over his authority forcibly. In the end, he made a decision as he gestured for Ian and Isaac to stand by his side.

"We're going to split up here." Est stated firmly. “I will not forget that you have saved my life from the Mountain Troll. This favor, I will definitely repay it in the future. ”

Without waiting for his answer, he turned around and walked into the forest. Isaac and Ian hurriedly chased behind him.

William watched the three leave with a calm expression. However, deep down, he felt anxious.

'Alright, let's see what the three of you can do, ' William mused. 'I want to see how far you three can go without my help.'

William watches as the three green dots that symbolize Est and his minions enter the forest. He was very curious about what kind of ability the three of them possessed. They were unable to show it off earlier when he fought against the Mountain Troll.

The red-haired boy thought that it was best to know the extent of their fighting abilities, so that he could make the right decision if he wanted to cooperate with them.
