Chapter 31: Dungeon Attack [Part 1]

"Mama Ella, are you ready?"

William nodded and went to Ella's status page. After defeating the Thousand Year Beast, Ella had also reached the maximum level of the Angorian Goat. To move forward, he needs to evolve.

However, the System made an interesting discovery. After Ella evolved, she was still able to return to her previous form of Angorian Goat. William was very pleased with this result as he grew to love his current Mama Ella form.

He had seen Ella's evolutionary form and it was quite frightening.

William chooses Yes and soon, Ella transforms into a two-meter-high Angorian War Ibex. The two large horns were curved backwards on its head five feet (1,524 meters) long, and gave it a frightening cushion.

Although its white fur still looked comfortable and soft, in reality, it was as strong as the light steel armor usually worn by adventurers and mercenaries.

Overall, Ella's evolution gave her tremendous physical strength and defense. As suggested by the name of his race, he was a ferocious beast born for war.

The goats in the goat stable looked at him with sparkling eyes. At first glance, William can tell that they are all looking forward to developing like Ella.

“Meeeeh!” Ella raised her head proudly. It was his way of encouraging the goats to do their best to become stronger. He has "If I can do it, you can too!" the expression on his face that made the goats stomp his legs was excited.

The goats answered happily as if telling him that they too would evolve. William approached Ella with a big smile on his face. This is what Ella wanted. He wants to become stronger to protect William, and his goal has been achieved.

However, neither William nor Ella knew that this was not the end. It was just the beginning and the journey to the top was still long.

William checked Ella's stats and the smile on his face widened. Ella's evolution had given her a huge boost in her status points. Previous forms and current forms such as Heaven and Earth.

“Mama Ella, congratulations!” William hugged his neck.

“Meee.” reply Ella. He then placed his chin on William's shoulder and closed his eyes.

They remained that way for a few minutes before William reluctantly took a step back. Even though the night was still young, there were still things they needed to do.

“If any of you want to leave a peaceful life then you can go to that side,” William said as he pointed to his right. “I will not force any of you to harm yourself. I'll be completely honest. I can't guarantee your safety.

I don't know what kind of enemies we will face in the future. All I know is that they will be stronger than the Dire Wolves you faced yesterday. The chances of you dying are very high. Do you still want to follow me to an unknown place?

“”Meeeeh!””

The goat answered in unison. Perhaps because of what they experienced, the desire of the goats to grow stronger had defeated their desire to live peacefully.

"Very good." William nodded. “Let's go and conquer Goblin Crypt together!”

“Meeeeh!”

William activates the Ring of Conquest and a dazzling light envelops everyone inside the goat pen. A few seconds later, they found themselves on the Floor Ten Goblin Crypt.

"Is this what you want to show me, Dad?" ask Mordred.

"Yes" replied James. “William is young and there are things he cannot do. What you and I can do for her is give her full support from the shadows.”

Mordred glanced at the goat cage with a calm expression. “Understanding, Father.”

"Good." James nodded his head and walked back towards the house. 'William followed in his father's footsteps. I just hope he will be able to overcome the challenges that await him.'

The Eleventh Floor Goblin Underground…

“Meeeeh!”

“Meeeeh!”

Angorian Goats attack both Hobgoblins as a team. Although the Hobgoblins were stronger than the Dire Wolves, they were no match for the thirteen bloodied mad goats.

Ella was the Shepherd Leader, but she just stood behind and watched her subordinates trample over the Hobgoblins easily.

The goats are divided into two teams. One team is led by Aslan, while the other is led by Chronos.

One team against one Hobgoblin. This was the strategy William had made after entering the Eleventh Floor. He reasoned that the goats needed to work as a team if they wanted to advance to the lower floors of the Goblin Crypt.

The Hobgoblins on the eleventh floor came in pairs. It was the perfect training ground for goats to test their teamwork.

William checked the notice and nodded his head. He had already anticipated that the experience points would be greatly reduced due to the number of participants in the battle. However, he doesn't care.

He was in no rush to gain any big experience points. The important thing at the moment was to train the "armies" and polish their battle formation.

William smiled as he watched his Mama Ella level up. He then added three stat points to Agility. His mentality has not changed. The boy kept Ella's speed in mind because he believed that being fast was as important as being strong.

'Now, let's check out the new skills!' William opens Ella's skill tree vigorously.

When Ella leveled up, she received three stat points and two skill points. William is very picky when it comes to Ella's skills. He prefers practicality over being too flashy.

The first skill he chose was Mithril Armament. This was the more powerful version of the Steel Armament that Ella had when she was still an ordinary Angorian Goat.

Ella's horn and nail color changed to silvery blue. They were like crystals shining in the darkness. It also gave Ella a graceful and elegant appeal. William playfully touched his Mama Ella's mithril horn. It gave him confidence and security.

He knew that it only took time to clear the Goblin Crypt with his new Mama Ella powers.
