When William opened his eyes, he found himself in a room unknown to him.
'Where am I?' William thought while trying to move his body. To his surprise, no matter how much he tried to move his body, it did not respond. Heck, he can't even move his finger. 'What's this? Sleep paralysis?!'
William had experienced this sensation when he was still back on Earth. This feeling is really scary because you are clearly awake, however, you are unable to move and even speak.
The red-haired boy tried to calm his panicked heart as he recalled the events that occurred during the battle against the Cyclops.
'The last thing I remember was using the Finger of Death. After that I lost consciousness," William sighed inwardly. Suddenly, his heart was gripped by a terrifying thought. 'Wait 'wait! Don't tell me we really lost? No way! Am I dead again?! Is this the afterlife?!'
As William truly began to panic, the door of the room opened and a familiar handsome boy appeared before him.
“William? Are you awake?" Est asked while looking at the boy who was lying on the bed. He could see that his eyes were open and, for some reason, they were staring straight at him.
Seeing the red-haired boy doing nothing, Est sat by the bed and frowned. "What's wrong?"
'There is something wrong with my body, but how can I tell you?!' William glared at Est out of frustration.
"Young Master, is he awake?" Isaac asked as he walked into the room with his twin brother, Ian.
“Oi, if you're awake, why just shut up,” Ian snorted. “Are you a pig? Do you like to lie down ? You've been sleeping for two days.”
''Two days?!' William gasping. 'Wait. Did we all die together? Goddamn bum! I cannot be sure because I cannot move or say anything.'
"Hey, are you okay?" Est asked while poking William's cheek. "You're obviously awake, but why aren't you moving?"
'If I could move, I would have already kicked you both!' William was frustrated. 'Just because I can't move, you think you can bully me?!'
He tried to use his frustration to forcibly break through his paralysis, but it didn't work. He could only stare helplessly at the two bullies and promise that he would beat them as soon as his paralysis disappeared.
"I think there's something wrong with him" Isaac said as he sat on the bed. "Does he have sleep paralysis or a stroke?"
"Ian, call the Chief Priest immediately!" Shouted Est.
Ian left the room reluctantly as he went to look for the High Priestess. For some reason, he found William's current state quite amusing. It made him want to bully the helpless shepherd and piss him off into oblivion.
"Don't worry, William," Est assured him. "Help is on its way."
William blinked at Est once before closing his eyes. Since help was already on the way, he decided to check for notifications flashing on his status screen.

After checking his stats, he realized that his Mana was disabled for some reason. He immediately called the system to ask what happened on his status page.
'System, can you tell me why my Mana is disabled?'
< Host, this is a consequence of the use of the power of the Collar of Wisteria. You won't be able to use your mana for five years. >
"What?! I think the collar effect will only prevent me from using the Witch Type Job Class, it also includes any skills that use mana? ”
< Yes. Any skill that relied on Mana would be unusable for the next five years. >
“OK, let me straighten this out,” William hopes there are still loopholes he can use to activate the skills he usually uses in battle. "You mean, I can't even use Bestow, or First Aid?"
< Host will not be able to use any Skills that rely on Mana. >
“Sial!!” William cursed. "Sir, the last attempt you gave me was too brutal ..."
The joy William felt after getting the prize from the trial was replaced by depression. He originally thought that his other Working Class, which did not rely on magic power, would not be affected by the counterattack from the Collar of Wisteria.
While William was feeling heartbroken, the High Priestess Finally arrived in the room. He puts his hand over William's head and uses a diagnostic spell to check his condition.
"Cheal Full," cried the High Priestess and a layer of green light enveloped William's body.
"How are you feeling?" Est asked with concern.
"Depression and heartbreak," replied William while voicing his thoughts out loud. “..
“Do not depression young people,” High Priestess comments with a smile. “You are young, why do you feel depressed? For hunger, even though we don't have much, we can give you bread, cheese, and milk.”
"Thank you, Chief Pastor" replied William. "I'll accept your offer."
“Alright, I will ask one of my servants to bring you some food,” The Chief Priest caressed the side of William's cheek before standing up. “Your name is William, right? Be sure to visit your goats after you eat. They feel uneasy because they cannot enter the temple to see you.”
"Fuckin' thick! My goat!” William jumped out of bed and hurriedly left the room. He completely forgot about his depression and immediately ran towards the stables to see them.
Est, the High Priestess, and the twins watched him leave with dumbfounded faces.
Wasn't he just depressed a while ago? Why did he run away like his pants were on fire?
___
“Meeeeeeee!”
“Sorry, Mama Ella,” William said as he hugged his mother's head. "I'm worrying you."
“Meeeeh.”
"Mmm, I'm fine" replied William. "What about you?"
“Meeeeeee.”
“Don't worry about everything, I'm fine. Sorry to have you all worried.”
“”Meeeeeeeh!””
This was the sight that Est and the twins saw when they arrived at the stables. The other goats surrounded William and attached their heads to his body. With just a quick glance, one could easily tell just how much the goats cared about William.
“She is truly loved by her flock,” comments Ian while grinning.
“Ian, be kinder to William from now on,” order Est. “He was a generous man and he sacrificed a lot for us, Remember that."
“... I understand,” replied Ian. "I'll try not to be too mean when talking to him."
“Why were you mean to her from the beginning?” Est asked. This was something he had wanted to ask for a long time. Ever since Ian saw William, the others had always treated the shepherd harshly.
“I don't know,” replied Ian. "I just get annoyed when I see it."
"Don't tell me you fell in love with her at first sight?" Isaac teased his twin. “They say that when someone wants to be noticed by the person they like, they do things to get their attention.”
"I? Fancied her?” Ian sneered. "Even if he was the last boy in the world, I would never have fancied him."
Ian looked at the red-haired boy surrounded by his goats. It was true, every time he saw William, he felt annoyed for some reason. She was also unsure why she felt that way towards a boy who had only interacted with her for a while.
As Ian pondered silently, his gaze landed on Est. His Young Master looked at William with a gentle gaze. It made Ian doubt his own eyes, but Est kept staring at William this way.
As if the final riddle on the board fell into place, Ian finally understood why he disliked William.
Although he was unsure, he had a premonition that William would take something very important from him, and that was the reason why Ian felt that William was so unpleasant in his eyes.
