When William returned to Celine's house, the beautiful woman was lying on the sofa and taking a nap. James left because he didn't want to bother him and just told William to take care of himself.
Since he had accepted that his grandson was now a disciple of Celine, it also meant that he would stay at Celine's house for a while. This is how internships are conducted in their world.
Getting a student is similar to adopting a child. As a Master, it was their responsibility to look after their students until their apprenticeship was over.
William and James had also discussed along the way that a goat pen and goat pen should be built outside Celine's house. He needed to guard his herd as well, so taking them to Celine's place was the ideal thing to do.
Five days later, a new goat stable and shed were built on the land belonging to the Dark Witch. James paid for his labor and materials, and also ensured that the new goat stable would be comfortable enough for William and the other goats to stay.
He knew that this would be William's secret headquarters when he was about to enter the Ring of Conquest. With that in mind, James asked the carpenters to make it relatively safe so that no one could enter, unless they entered through the front door.
After two weeks of torture, William and Ella began to develop some resistance to the Berserk Curse. Although they suffered, they also gained a lot through experience. Although they had entered a raging state, there were times where they were able to maintain their state of mind to some extent.
Seeing that the training was quite effective, William begged Celine to add Chronos, Aslan, and the other goats in their training. Celine did not mind too much and found the idea interesting.
Oliver is still in charge of training, so adding a few more goats to the mix is no big deal.
After two months of extensive training, William and his flock managed to resoundingly clear the Fourteenth Floor. In their first few experiments, the Goblin Shaman was able to neutralize their party with the spells of Blind and Berserk. Although William, and Ella had boosted their immunity, the Hobgoblin Shaman was an expert in the Dark Arts.
In addition to curses, he was also able to use the power of darkness up to the Fourth Circle. What does that mean? That means William and Ella must face off against a bona fide elemental witch, who is a very dangerous enemy to face.
The Hobgoblin Shaman was on par with William in terms of firepower. Even Ella in her War Ibex Form was unable to take a direct hit from her elemental attack. Fortunately, it only took two months before the group managed to overcome this obstacle.
William, Ella, and the goats advanced steadily as they made their way downstairs. The Fifteenth Floor was quite challenging as each Hobgoblin group had one Hobgoblin Leader and Hobgoblin Shaman in their ranks.
Of course, once a goat develops immunity to a particular spell, the battle is not as severe as before. William's fighting style had also greatly improved and he had now become an All-round Battle Witch.
Although he still had not polished the melee combat skill, he was not helpless when fighting enemies at close range.
Another month passed, and William managed to conquer the Goblin Crypt all the way to the Seventeenth Floor. He could still advance their exploration, but he decided to postpone it, at least for now.
The reason why he decided to stop their progress was because of a delayed quest that he had yet to complete to go to the temple to talk to Gavin.
Since the remains of the Beast Tide had been largely eradicated, it was now safe again to travel in the Western Region. All he needed to do was to obtain permission from his Master and Grandfather to leave Lont City and complete his pending mission.
“Alright, I will approve your request to visit the temple,” Celine said in a lazy voice. "However, you should bring me a souvenir when you get back."
"Thank you, Master" replied William. "Suvenir what do you want?"
“Anything as long as it is good.”
"All right."
After gaining his Master's approval, William searches for his next Grandfather.
“Visiting the temple?” James toyed with his beard for a while while considering the pros and cons of sending William out of Lont City.
“Isn't that okay?” William insisted. “The Beast Tide is already dealt with and the wandering monsters are being hunted. Besides, I don't go alone. Mama Ella and the other goats will accompany me on the way.”
"Well, I think you can go," James relented after his grandson kept begging. “But you have to promise me one thing. If you face a monster that is impossible to defeat, you must escape as quickly as possible. Do you understand? ”
"I promise." William nodded his head like a chicken pecking at rice. “Thank you, Grandpa. I'll be careful!"
"Go and find Helen" James ordered. “He will help you prepare the things you need for your trip. According to my estimation, you will be able to reach the Temple in four to six days. Tell him to give you enough supplies for ten days.”
"okay!" William hurriedly left and went to look for Aunt Helen. He was afraid that James would change his mind and prevent him from leaving Lont.
The old man saw the boy leave with a small laugh.
"Ezio," said James slowly.
"Sir." Ezio lowered his head.
"Supervise my grandson from the shadows and ensure his safety."
"I hear and obey, my Lord."
Ezio disappeared from the room. James looked out the window and gazed towards the Sacred Temple. He hoped his grandson would not have an accident on his first trip outside the Lont border.

“Be sure to pay attention to your surroundings,” Celine said as she stood at the North Gate of Lont City to say goodbye to William. “Also, if you meet bandits along the way, just kill them. Killing them will ensure that innocent people do not have to suffer.”
"Um, Master, are you seriously asking a ten-year-old to kill people?" William asked with a frown.
"I killed my first bandit when I was eight," Celine glared at him. “Are you a man? Why are you so fucking asshole ?! ”
"I killed my first bandit when I was nine" James commented. "As my grandson, you should do your best to kill this bastard at the first opportunity!"
'B-What a savage!' thought William. 'Are the people in this world really indifferent to murder?'
William was from Earth so his mindset, in terms of killing people, was very different from that of the Hestians. If possible, he did not want to end human life. Killing monsters was no problem, because to him, they were not humans.
(PS: Hestia is William's current world name.)
However, he knew that if he was pushed into a corner, he would also strengthen himself to do the deed even if he did not want to.
"Little William, take care of yourself" Helen said as she helped him put on his traveling robe. “I've packed you enough food and clothes for ten days. Make sure to eat on time and rest on time, okay?”
"Thank you, Aunt Helen." William smiled and nodded his head. “I'll be back as soon as possible.”
"good. I'll wait."
William waved his hand before climbing Ella's back. "Master, Grandpa, be careful!"
"Go back early" Celine said as she waved back.
"Don't hesitate to pick up a girl to take home as a wife when you get back" James shouted. “It doesn't matter how much you bring back. We'll take it all!”
William almost fell off Ella's back when he heard her shameless grandfather's words. The old man still had not given up on the idea of playing matchmaker for William. He even insisted that the more wives he had, the better.
Did he think that beautiful girls grew up in the wild like cabbage?!
As the city of Lont disappeared behind him, William felt a sense of anticipation. This was the first time he had any adventures away from home and it made him excited and anxious at the same time.
What he did not know was that during this journey towards the Sacred Temple, he would meet someone who would play an important role in his life in the near future.
