Re:Incarnation System
Chapter 47: The Opportunity To Reverse the Table [Part 2 End)

The Iron Fortress called Barbatos continued to tremble. It was currently holding back the combined attacks of all the crocodiles and the snake heads made of water magic.

When Celine arrives on the battlefield, the first thing she does is fire a raging spell at the Centennial Dark-Scaled Crocodile who is juggling a water snake. After their host lost focus, the giant snake that was slithering through the air collapsed into a rain shower.

Celine floated in the air as she looked at the Dark Scales Crocodile in annoyance. Surprisingly, he was not alone. Floating beside him was Owen who also assessed the crocodile troops with a frown.

"Can you handle it?" ask Owen.

“I could easily kill all the crocodiles except Big Boss,” Celine replied. “However, if I annihilate his entire clan, it will probably enter a berserk state. Even if we all work together, it will be very difficult to deal with it.”

Millennial Beasts like the Golden Scales Crocodile are one of the most difficult creatures to kill because of their unusually strong resistance to magic and physical attacks.

"I understand" replied Own with understanding. "So we're just scaring them, right?"

"Yes" replied Celine. "All right, I'll start."

"good. Give support to me.”

"I'm counting on you, old man."

Celine summoned her grimoire and her face became very serious. His lips moved as he chanted a powerful spell that would turn the tide of battle in their favor.

Dark Clouds floated above Lont city as Celine untied her power. His eyes shone a bright purple color as his voice echoed around him.

“Glorious Darkness, my redeemer, I need you now in my time of need. Guide my hand so I can conquer my enemies. The law of fools who forget your name, and curse them all into eternal darkness!”

“Dark Breaker!”

Thousands of dark rays descended from the sky as they crossed against the waves of Dark Scales. Even the Golden Scales Crocodile did not escape the attack, but received very minimal damage.

Black wisps started coming out from the crocodile's eyes as they halted their attack on the Iron Fort. What Celine used was a spell similar to Mass Blind with higher efficiency.

The Golden Scaled Crocodile looked at him with ridicule for not being affected by Celine's attack.

"The beast has no intention of retreating," Celine frowned. "Parents, prepare for the worst case scenario."

Owen sighed and nodded his head. He knew that Celine had decided to slaughter an entire horde of crocodiles to show the Golden Scales Crocodile that they did not give up easily.

“You forced me to do this, you lizard that grew too big,” Celine clenched her fists. “You know, I have to stop my experiment. I'm only half a step away from succeeding, and you dare to block my path. Two years of preparation are gone and it's all because of you! I will not forgive you!”

"Oh, honey, she flinched," Barbatos grimaced as she looked at the crazy woman hovering in the sky. “William, for your own sake, don't upset your teacher. He is the type of madman who is really Crazy.”

"C-mad crazy?" William gulped. "How crazy is that?"

"The worst kind of madness" replied Barbatos in an instant. "He's like a yandere only twelve times worse."

“Sial!” William's feet were trembling. This time, he was really scared.

If not for the fact that she was on Ella's back, she might have already fallen to the ground in fear.

“Honored Father, the one sitting on the throne of Darkness, your humble servant needs your help. Lead me with my hands so that I can defeat the demons in front of me, ”cream Celine. “I plead this to you with open arms, Oh Everlasting Guard. Support me with your illustrious power!”

“Garden Darkness!”

Thousands of small red balls floated above Celine. They were very similar to William's "Dark Seed" which he showed to Celine and Owen a few days ago. With a wave of his hand, these seeds were embedded in the crocodile that is currently suffering from blindness.

Half a minute later, all the crocodiles started rolling around. Some of them even started their famous Death Rolls to tear their prey in the water.

The Golden Scales Crocodile felt that something was amiss, but he could not do anything at the moment. The only thing he could do was roar at Celine furiously.

"Rear as much as you like, you cocky lizard." Celine was indifferent to the anger of her enemies. “Even materials from your entire clan are not enough to compensate for half of the precious materials I lost in my experiment!”

As if waiting for Celine's venomous words, one of the crocodiles suddenly stopped moving.

Suddenly, a two meter tall red flower emerged from his back accompanied by a rain of blood. The flower shone terrifyingly as it sucked up all of its host's blood. A few seconds later, the crocodile stopped moving.

Seeing his clan dying in front of him, the Golden Scales Crocodile's body began to shine. It opened its mouth as an energy ball slowly expanded in front of it.

"Here, He's going to use Dragon's Breath!" exclaim Owen.

"Is there any chance of us surviving?" Celline asked.

"Ten, not maybe five percent," Owen's face was as black as the bottom of the kettle. “If we don't stop him, even if we survive his attack, half of Lont City will be destroyed.”

Celine stared at the monster in front of her fearlessly. Since the chances of survival were slim, he decided to bet.

"Owen, make sure to catch me if I fall."

"Huh? Whatchu mean?"

Celine did not bother to explain and started chanting incantations. The language he spoke was very ancient. A language that few on the continent could understand. Even Owen, who was learning many languages did not know the language Celine was speaking.

“Lirowasniel aerriien tyrerieth, merrieth, telendyn, talarnial. Trylinbradies Ararasnal, marniel, erorilbras, elowen, Thriasrilriel rinilol, triloren, morelalyn. Nielinbrnil aeraenas, merlenian..”.

Celine's index finger shone in a bloody hue after her singing ended. He then pointed at the Golden Scales Crocodile and sneered.

"From Death!"

A loud clap echoed through the air as a streak of red lightning shot out from Celine's finger. Lightning precisely landed on the Golden Scales Crocodile's forehead creating a hissing sound. .

Celine coughed a mouthful of blood as she lost the strength to float in the air. Owen hurriedly caught him and landed on the ground beside Barbatos and William.

"W-did we win?" ask William. "Did the teacher succeed?"

It was a question that everyone had in mind, but no one dared to ask.

No one knows the answer to his question.

No one dared to answer this question.

Celine was already unconscious, while the gazes of Barbatos and Owen were focused on the Golden Scales Crocodile in the distance. They were looking for signs that might tell them that Celine's last attack had some sort of effect on the enemy in front of them.

They watched anxiously as the ball of light, which floated a few meters from the crocodile's jaw, was still expanding. Owen and Barbatos sighed. They concluded that Celine had failed.

"Finger of Death" had a very small 1% chance of directly killing a Millennial Beast in a single strike. Celine knew that the odds were against her, but she still took the plunge. But, it seemed like the gamble had failed and now they were all about to die from the Dragon Breath that was slowly gaining momentum.

Owen had already cast a spell in an attempt to cast a barrier that would strengthen the Iron fortress and help block the disastrous attack that would befall them.

However, half a minute later, the ball of light completely disappeared.

Without warning, the head of the Golden Scales Crocodile fell to the ground with a violent impact. Everyone was shocked, including the crocodile guarding their leader.

Seconds later, panic spread throughout the horde as surviving members of the crocodile clan rushed towards the river in an attempt to escape. Out of the ten Centennial Beasts, six were still left.

They also did not bother to linger and shouted to their subordinates to gather on their side.

They took the survivors away and left Lont City to find another hiding place where they could recover the amount that had been lost in this battle. Even though they had lost greatly, it only took them at most two years to increase their population again.

The battle against the hordes of crocodiles ended in such an unexpected way that the people in Lont City did not even know how to react.

Ironically, the first one to shout and cheer was none other than Theo who had a crow's mouth. He raised his fist and roared. It was as if he was the one fighting alone against the Golden Scales Crocodile and made the entire horde terrified.

Soon, more cheers erupted as the citizens of Lont City followed him. The children started jumping around while the adults patted each other on the back. The two brothers watched all of this in awe and awe.

“I think I now understand how Lont City survived Beast Tide,” Leah said in an envious tone. He looked at Celine with sparkling eyes as if he had found his idol.

"Indeed," replied Cedric. He also realized that the people in Lont City were not as simple as they seemed. “Lont City Awakening set with stone.”

He was unwilling to admit it, but he was impressed by how the citizens of Lont fought the Beast Tide. His only regret was that Fushia did not have such an expert under their service. Perhaps, if there was a person like Celine working for her father then their territory might still stand in the Western Region of Hellan Kingdom.
