Chapter 28: Storm Extermination (part 2)

It moved very quickly, but everyone present was an expert in battle. When James saw who it was, his heart almost shattered into pieces.

“Williaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam!”

The old man's cry was deafening. William did not hear it. His concentration was locked on the glowing wolf in front of him.

As the wolves begin the Annihilation of the Storm, William also moves in. He ordered Ella to use Quick Attack to close the gap as quickly as possible.

Although the Storm Annihilation was truly an extremely powerful and deadly move, it was not something that could be used in an instant. The wolf needed to channel all its life force and energy into its Beast Core before this Supreme Attack could be unleashed.

William was able to open it because of the experience points he had gained from the previous battle. Simply put, this was William's last chance and he risked his life on this desperate final strike.

Everyone watched with bated breath as the spear drew closer to the wolf's body. They all knew that this would not change the current situation. Once the wolf started a suicide attack, nothing could stop it.

Many people have tried in the past, and all of them have one end. They had been burned by the heavenly lightning until they turned into ashes!

Contrary to everyone's expectations, they saw and heard something completely unexpected. The wolf shouted as its huge body shot off the ground. The Glacial Lance had been embedded in the wolf's body which made it lose concentration.

After the wolf activated Storm Annihilation, it covered its body with a light screen. This reduces the effectiveness of all attacks by half.

That was also why no one thought William would succeed in his attack. Previously, Mordred and the others had also unleashed their full-powered attacks. However, the wolves held back their attacks.

They never believed for a second that William's Magic, his Glacial Lance, could be better. Compared to the veterans' ultimate streak, William's Magic wasn't very powerful. Although it looked cool, its strength was not even a fifth of Mordred's full-powered Fire Blast.

“How can this be?” ask Owen. "What the hell is going on?"

No one answered the question. None of them could explain the incredible scene before them.

Actually, they had forgotten one thing. Even though the wolf had used the light screen, there were some attacks that could not be resisted even if your body was made of steel.

For example, if you are hit in a certain place, the damage will atomatically double. Indeed indeed. William did not think of anything complicated. He used his Glacial Lance to pierce the only place that would bring a wolf to its knees.

William had maximized this skill at level ten. The damage output was Ella Power Stat multiplied by seven!

Right now, it was as strong as the Mordred Fire Dragon Attack.

After channeling his life force and energy into his magic core, the Millennial Beast was at its weakest point. The two bloody horns struck the wolf's forehead with a loud clap.

A dying roar permeated the battlefield as the wolf's massive body fell to the ground. His eyes looked at William and Ella bitterly.

It wasn't signed. He planned to take all these insects with him to the afterlife, but was thwarted by a small child he treated as cattle.

Immediately, his eyes became dull and lifeless as he exhaled his last breath. The battle is finally over. Everyone stared at the boy riding atop the Angorian Goat with burning eyes.

The boy, on the other hand, had a puzzled expression on his face as he stared at the dead Millennial Beast in front of him.

“That's my grandson!” James shouted proudly. “He was like me when I was young! Ahahahahaha! As expected of my grandson!”

The eagle screamed and glanced at his master. He coded John, "Can I drop this stupid old man?" the expression as the latter just laughed and shook his head.

John looked at the boy on the ground and nodded his head in appreciation. 'This young man is very promising!'

William was unaware of the smoldering gazes the people had given him. The reason why he was dazed was because of the notice that appeared in front of him.

“Hahahaha! Even though you weren't as good as me when I was your age, you still did well! James laughed while twirling the boy.

“Meeeeh!” Ella looked at James angrily. If she could only talk, she would have already nagged James for treating her baby so rudely.

"Grandfather, put me down, I'm dizzy" William asked.

“Hmp! Nice." James placed William on Ella's back and looked at her with satisfaction. How could he not be satisfied? His grandson is very brave*sss!

His grandson was able to stop a skill that was said to be unstoppable. Nothing has worked in the past. Only his grandson was capable of such a feat. This was something he could be proud of to his friends when they met again for exploration with them within three months.
