"We're almost there" William said as he stared at the familiar scene in front of him.
“Meeeeeeee!”
“Meeeeeeee!”
“Meeeeeeee!”
“Meeeeeeee!”
Goats bleated in excitement as they looked at the familiar city in the distance. They had lived in Lont City for many years, and this was the first time they had been away from home. Some of them are already feeling homesick about their long journey.
Est, Ian, Isaac, Herman, and Nana froze in shock when they saw the Golden Ape (Oroubro) sitting near Lont's entrance. They could see some children climbing up his arms, while others were playing tag near his feet.
“A-Is that Oroubro taken from the battlefield?” Est stammered.
Even though he had already heard from Nana that William's grandfather and his comrades had managed to capture three Millennial Beasts from the battle at Windkeep Fortress, the, this was the first time he had seen something almost as big as the Cyclops they had fought in the trial of bravery.
"Yes" replied William. “He is the newly appointed mayor of Dkota Lont. His name is Lufie the Monkey.”
“Lufie the Monkey.” Herman gulps. “A dominating name.”
"I know?" William raised his chin in an arrogant manner.
"Why are you acting like you're the one who has it?" Ian sneered. "You're a pretentious brat."
"Mama Ella did you hear someone talking?" ask William.
Ella shook her head.
"That must be one of the ghosts known as attention-seekers." William breathed excessively. “Ck, just because I'm handsome they decided to haunt me? Well, I don't mind if the attention seeker is beautiful. However, if it's just a sissy-nosed snot.
"Who are you calling a snot-nosed sissy?!" ask Ian.
William turned to look at the angry boy sitting on the carriage. “Why you? Are you a snot-nosed sissy? Tsk, no wonder you're always angry. It must be nice to have a period of 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.”
"You-you!" Ian was about to jump off the carriage and beat William to a pulp when Isaac held him back with all the strength he could muster.
"Ian, watch your behavior" Est ordered.
“Hmp!” Ian turned his eyes angrily.
As the group approached Lont's entrance, several children waved and called out to William.
“You are really popular,” Est said with a smile.
William nodded his head. “I don't want to brag, but I am the most handsome boy in Lont City. It's only natural that I become popular.”
After traveling with William for a few days, the group became accustomed to his narcissism. They often wonder where he got his confidence from. Of course, they had to admit that William was indeed very handsome.
This is one of the advantages of being Half-Elf. Although Half-Elves was shunned by the Elf Race for not being pure-blooded, no one could deny that the Elf genes made Half-Elves very pleasing to the eye.
“William! Oh! William!” Theo shouted while running towards his good friend. “You arrived at the right time! Your family has guests and from what I've heard, they've come here to see you.
“Those guests who came to see me?” William pondered. The pictures of the previous guest appeared in his mind. 'There's no way they are anymore, right?'
William recalls Agatha, the mother of his former fiance, Rebecca. If this was a week ago, William would definitely think of a way to have them show more rare weapons so that he could open some Job Classes.
It was a pity that he was in no mood to obtain Job Class anymore since he was unable to use it at this moment.
"Do you recognize them?" ask William. "Did they look like guests who came to visit last time?"
“Train pulled by Gryphon?”ask William who is curious.
"Yes! But, this time, there were three Gryphons!” answer Theo.
"Three?" William felt his heart start to itch. 'This time they asked for reinforcements? Do these nobles think that I am so easily bullied?'
William's expression became grim. He regretted the fact that he could not use his current strength. If he still had his strength, he would definitely curse their guests until they ran off shouting from where they came!
"Will our arrival be a problem?" Est asked.
"No." William looked at Est and smiled. “You are all guests. What came was a pest. Let me drive them out so I can give you a Tour in Lont city. ”
William and his entourage enter Lont and head straight for the Ainsworth Estate. As Theo said, he saw three Gryphons wandering outside his house.
“That's the coat of arms of the Duke of Griffith,” Herman said as he recognized the emblem on the carriage door. 'Why is the big man here in this Lont city?'
“Duke of Griffith, if not mistakenly remembered, it was the house that gave birth to the genius girl who was an expert in Ice Magic,” commented Nana. "Do your family know them, William?"
"Well, that genius girl you spoke of, their Miss is my Ex-Fiancee" William replied casually.
"Wedding?!" Est's expression became serious when she heard that William had a fiancee. He felt a slight pain in his heart, but he did not understand why he felt this way.
Isaac and Ian's eyes widened when they heard William's reply. They were trained to read people's body language and they knew that William wasn't lying.
"You said Ex-Fiancee?" ask Herman. "Why? Are you two not engaged to each other anymore?”
"I cancelled the marriage agreement" William replied as if it were no big deal. “Although my Ex-Fiance, Rebecca, is so cute, his mother and Master have a Mandrake.” bloodline
“Mandrake?” Est frowned.
Mandrake is a spiritual plant used in alchemy and medicine. However, this plant is quite annoying to get because if touched it will emit a scream that is strong enough to break someone's eardrum.
Herman, Nana, Isaac, and Ian immediately understood what William hinted at. Just like women looking for interesting gossip, like looking forward to seeing what kind of drama will unfold in Ainsworth Residence.

After Herman parked the carriage in the stable, William ordered the goats - besides Ella - to go to the goat pen. The goats happily bleated in response and went to their old house happily. They were very tired from their journey and wanted to rest in a familiar place. William watched them leave with a smile on his face before leading his guests towards the main entrance of their residence.
“My handsome and outstanding grandfather, I'm back!” William announces his arrival.
"Welcome back my handsome grandson," James welcomed William with open arms. “new few days did not meet, but you became more handsome. Tell me, what kind of magic is this?”
How else, William raised his chin arrogantly. "I was destined to be handsome the day I was born with your bloodline."
"Ha ha ha!" James laughed heartily as he patted William on the shoulder. “Being handsome is a sin. This is a sin that we both carry.”
“No matter how heavy this sin is, I, William, will bear it until I exhale my last breath!”
“As pronounced Ainsworth true.”
Isaac walked beside Est and whispered in his ear. "Young Master, now we know where William inherited his narcissism."
Est nodded in agreement. This was the first time he had seen an old man acting this way in public.
"Oh? Is that the grandson you've been proud of lately?” a thunderous voice asked from behind James. "Not bad. At least he is not lacking in terms of good looks.”
James smiled as he introduced his friend to his grandson.
"Wiliam, this old fox is a close friend of mine," James introduced his friend with a grin. "Lawrence Fox Griffith, the old Duke of the Duchy of Griffith."
