"System, is there really no other way?" ask William. His heart was currently aching from the successive disappointments he had encountered since his magic power had been sealed.
< Well, it's not that there's no way. but I'm not sure if it'll work. >
“Anything will work! Just make the ring work! ”
< Host, even if we successfully activate Ring of Conquest, the default settings of Goblin Crypt may be affected. Are you sure you want to continue? >
“What do you mean when you say that the default settings of Goblin Crypt may be affected?” William asked. “Is there a default setting for Goblin Crypt?”
< Ring of Conquest is a Unique Item forged using fire from the Land of Demons, and metal that comes from another world. The techniques used in making them did not belong to this world. To make the ring work in this world, it must obey the laws of this world. >
“System, can you simplify things in layman terms?”
< Host, in short, even if you manage to enter the Goblin Crypt, it will probably be different. >
William pondered, but still decided to continue with the activation of the powerful Ring of Conquest.
“Even if it is tapped, go ahead and activate the ring. This is an order!"
< Understood. Accept order... >
< Ding! >
< Congratulations! You can now activate Ring of Conquest (Bugged Version) >
—
"Versions Tapped?" William's Mumbles. “Well, as long as it can be used then it's okay. System, are you sure the ring can now be used? ”
< Yes. The ring can be used, but the basement setting may have changed. Host, please prepare yourself for the worst. >
“Do not talk taboo!”
< ... Don't blame me later if something happens. >
William took a deep breath to calm down. He knows that the system is doing its best to help him, and he is truly grateful for his help. The only problem was that his unpleasant warning gave him a feeling of uneasiness.
'There's no point in worrying about this, ' William thought as he clenched his fists. "Fly open!"
A dazzling flash of light enveloped everyone inside the goat cage. When William regains his sight, he finds himself on the Eleventh Floor of the Goblin Crypt.
“Good, it worked!” William clenched his fists. He then immediately checked his flock to see if everyone had arrived safely.
"Is everything here?"
“”Meeeeh!””
"Okay, let's do a vote count!"
“Meeeeh!”
“Meeeeh!”
“Meeeeh!”
The goats counted one by one and William was relieved that everyone was present.
“Mama Ella, do you feel anything strange?”
Ella pondered for a moment before shaking her head.
“How about you guys? Do you feel anything strange?”
Chronos, Aslan, and the other goats also shook their heads.
William looked at them seriously as he gave his instructions. “There may be some changes inside the dungeon. Don't act recklessly and always follow your team leader. Do you understand my max? ”
""Meeeeeeh!""
"OK let's go!"

Five minutes later…

< Exp Received: 2 >
“Um?” William saw the notification that appeared on his screen. For a moment, he thought that his eyes were playing tricks on him. However, successive notifications proved that everything he saw was real.
< Exp Received: 2 >
< Exp Received: 2 >
< Exp Received: 2 >
Goats can't see notifications like William. They were busy fighting against Hobgoblins in front of them using their teamwork. After the group defeated their enemy, William immediately ordered them to rush towards the Fourteenth Floor.
He wanted to know if all the floors had been affected by this "Bug.
Along the way, he discovered that the monster population inside the dungeon was denser than usual. It was as if the spawn rate in the dungeon had increased by 4 to 5 times that of a normal spawn rate.
If this happened at a time when the ring was still working perfectly, William would laugh out loud as more monsters meant more experience points. However, right now, he did not find the situation amusing.
Even if the number of monsters increased, then what? It would not change the fact that the experience points he had gained from killing them were extremely bad.
Ten minutes later…
William witnesses the Hobgoblin Shaman vanish into particles of light after being defeated by Aslan and his team.
The red-haired boy's eyes became dead like a fish when he saw the notification that appeared in front of him.
< Exp Received: 10 >
'It's over, ' William thought as his suspicions proved. The Conquest Ring works as it once did. However, the "Bug" had affected the number of experience points one could obtain within the Goblin Crypt.
William had been used to seeing experience points in the hundreds, but now, it did not even exceed the 10.
The red-haired boy gritted his teeth as he ordered his flock to go to the Eighteenth Floor. William was not looking to accumulate experience points and led the goats up the stairs to the unexplored floor.
However, on the stairs leading to the Eighteenth Floor, a barrier blocked his path. The goats tried to break it forcibly by using everything in their arsenal. Even Ella intervened to help destroy the barrier, but it was all in vain.
The barrier stood without a scratch as if mocking their forced attempts to pass the dungeon law.
"Enough," William ordered with a sigh. "Let's go back. I need to think about everything.”
William activates the Ring of Conquest and leaves the dungeon with his herd. The first thing he did when they returned to the real world was to look for some fresh air. He went outside the goat cage while dragging a pile of hay. The red-haired boy lay on it as he looked up at the sky.
Staring at the countless stars shining in the sky, William finally regained his composure. Even though he didn't show it, he felt extremely frustrated with the setbacks he had encountered lately.
The loss of her magic power has crippled her more than she imagined and she struggles to accept her new reality.
It was at that moment that he felt something wet touch the side of his face.
“Mama Ela.” William pulled his mother closer as he buried his face around his neck.
Ella felt something wet and warm wetting her coat. Not long after, he heard William's sobs as his body trembled from time to time.
William had harbored the pain and frustration of losing her deep in his heart. He thought that he would be able to bear it all, but the helplessness he felt within the Goblin Crypt pushed the final nail into the coffin.
The negative feeling he had endured in his heart flowed like a raging river. The floodgates holding him open and William's tears fall like rain.
He felt desperate. He felt helpless, and most importantly, he felt that he had lost all hope.
Since he was someone who had been reincarnated in a new world, William had no chance to "act his age". He was an eighteen year old boy trapped inside the body of a ten year old boy.
Everyone says that she is "adult for her age", but in reality, she is still a child. He's not an adult. When he died, he was just a teenager suffering from a deadly disease. A teenager who had made a deal with the Hospital Director to donate his heart at the time of his death.
William did his best to live his second life to the fullest. He gave it his all, challenged anything. With three gods, and a system that guarantees that he will stand above the rest, William will lie if he says that he does not feel special.
He would be lying if he said that he was not an elected person. After receiving so many blessings, and cheats that broke the balance of the world, how could he possibly fail?
However, here he was, crying to his fullest, like a child who had lost his favorite toy. Ella closed her eyes and let William vent his pent-up feelings.
William rarely cried. She cried when Ella was about to die inside the dungeon. She cried when Celine made her her slave, and she cried even more when they were tortured with a curse that almost drove her crazy.
Ella had no idea how long William had cried that night. As she felt her body limp, Ella instinctively knew that her baby was crying to sleep. He then helped her lie down in a more comfortable position, before looking for another haystack.
Ella pushed the haystack next to the sleeping boy and lay on it. She moved her body closer to her baby, and the latter instinctively positioned herself in her gentle embrace.
William's second mother looked down on her son with a gentle look. He just wishes William was happy. Ella knows that William is currently feeling frustrated, but she believes that she will be able to overcome this obstacle.
After all, he was the one who raised her. She knew more than anyone, how amazing her little baby was when she became serious.
