David's jaw is hardened. His skin was like emitting a golden aura when exposed to the light-bias effect of the lamp. Her brown eyes were hypnotizing Fanny.
“You did not serve guests tonight,” said the young man while drinking his beer he just ordered. Her heavy voice made Fanny shiver. The girl nodded her shoulders, then she stuck out her phone and acted as if she had just gotten an important message. Whatever, as long as he can divert
his view from David.
“Where are your friends?” david asked, as if it was even important to him. Fanny did not reply, but her eyes were immediately fixed to where Sara was. The girl then drank the juice again.
It seemed that the two of them would never manage to break the wall between them. It makes Fanny uncomfortable. David looks very stiff, and his pride is too high that can make Fanny shrink. David is not an easy person to be friends with. Fanny doesn't like that fact.
Donz gets even more crowded when Fanny is once again, left alone. This time by David. His eyes occasionally still caught the figure of Demian and Sara who were busy having fun. Fanny felt more bored every second.
That place doesn't make him comfortable. It was not that she was unfamiliar with the smell of alcohol, but indeed the girl desperately needed some fresh air. Fanny then decides to get out after she sends a short message to Sara that she is going home. After all, he had promised to get home before the hour
eleven.
The night air outside made him fresh. The lights on the street are dimmed. He could have ordered a grab, but he wanted to walk. Fanny felt that she should enjoy the silence of this calming night a little longer.
But suddenly the white audi car leads directly to where it stands. Fanny can only freeze. When the audi stopped right in front of him, the door opened and Fanny almost glared at the figure coming out of the audi. He should have guessed from the beginning that the owner of the audi was David.
The young man's figure looked like a Hermit under the dim streetlights. His eyes looked at Fanny dislike to the point of making the girl's cheeks flushed red.
“You don't want to go home on foot, do you?” tanyakanya.
“Indeed my plan was so,” replied Fanny with a ketus.
Fanny bites her lips as her eyes catch another male figure wandering around, and she soon finds out that going home with David is a good idea. As the girl walked towards her, David opened the passenger door, and with no idea, let alone gratitude, Fanny slammed the door shut when she was already inside.
Inside the black audi it felt warm and cozy, until Fanny let out a sigh of relief because of it. When David came in and sat in front of the wheel, the air was even warmer. David then turned on the radio, and the song was no longer the same as Noah's band.
After Fanny tells David her address, the young man starts driving at speed
steady while muttering following the strains of the song.
“You stay with your parents?” suddenly David asked.
Fanny shakes. “I stay with my aunt,” replied Fanny. David's eyebrows instantly lifted.
“And your mother?” ask again.
Fanny shrugged her shoulders. “I don't know now where she is,” the girl muttered. He saw David's jaw harden again. It seemed that the young man did not like it if he did not get a definite answer to his question.
The Audi was filled with silence after the awkward conversation, and Fanny began to feel uneasy. From the beginning, everything about David did make him uncomfortable. When they finally arrived, the automatic lock opened, and Fanny opened the door and jumped out.
“Originally you know,” David started saying again. His heavy voice turned bitter. “I don't either
horrified why my mother left me.”
For the umpteenth time, Fanny was glued. But his eyes still saw clearly when the door was closed and David disappeared from his sight. David was indeed far from the assumption of people and the media. He might look like a boxer ready to fight at all times, but he's not that cruel and violent.
