Not Same Again
Mama

Another week has passed quickly for Fanny, with the same routine and she still hates doctor Rani. I don't think that's ever gonna change. David Albert was still not seen in school, and people no longer talk about him. But Sara still cursed the young man secretly, even though she had never met the young man even once, and Demian was easily profiled. Now his two best friends are literally like hating ghosts.

Things start to change quickly for Fanny. Everything is no longer the same. It was Tuesday, another three days for Lia's birthday. Of course for a Fanny Prananta that day was very important, which is why she had prepared her death certificate at the Donz Resto & Bar and had planned something big for the day with her uncle, Iskandae Fadi. Lia would have liked it.

He was still thinking about that grand plan when he was cleaning the guest table. The clock has shown at 22:45 p.m., less than a few minutes before the place of work is closed.

“What is this place still open?” a heavy voice shocked the girl. He instantly stopped what he was working on, his eyes catching the figure of a young man. The young man was standing at one corner of the entrance, his hands folded on his chest. The young man's skin looks very exotic and bright when exposed to light biases from outside. There was a big pimple on his right cheek and his temples were like they had been torn and sewn. His eyes were extremely sharp, as if he had never witnessed the gentleness in this world. His black hair was very short

like a boxer. He wears a plain white shirt covered by a bomber jacket. He also wears jeans.

Sneakers look very expensive.

“Ya, still open,” replied Fanny. His voice sounded strange even in his own ears. He looked at the young man carefully. The young man really looked like a boxer in pain, just that there were no visible bruises. He smiled at Fanny, opened his jacket, threw the jacket

go to the nearest table, and sit down.

“Then I want a beer,” said the young man without further ado. He must be very frustrated, thought Fanny.

After giving the young man his beer, the girl began to continue her work which had stalled. Suddenly the door opened again. This time two people dressed in black came in. The two men ignored Fanny and kept walking towards the boxer.

“Mr David Albert,” one of the men in black said, and Fanny almost dropped the tissue box she was holding. So that boxer guy David Albert? Fanny was in disbelief. The girl then stole a glance through her shoulder while continuing to clean the guest table.

“Father Master asked me to drive you home now. Your father has been very angry to know that you did not enter school for a week and there have been rumors of—”

“Those rumors could exist because she hid me from the world just because she thought my mother was a whore!” David hissed furiously, and the man dressed in all black sighed.

“Master, he won't like to see you drunk like this.”

“I don't care what he wants! If she really cared about me, she would have been willing to pick me up herself instead of sending her lackeys. I bet he's busy dancing naked with his whores.” David looked at the two men in black with a look of disdain.

“Beliaumexpect you to go to school tomorrow, or all the facilities you get will be revoked.” David snorted to hear it.

“Please. I never wear it either. Now go before I get really mad!” the young man growled. The two man in black people finally gave up and left.

“Hei, you!” david said suddenly, his hand pointing at Fanny, making the girl feel like a criminal caught off guard. Time stopped for a while.

David then dropped the empty bottle. “Can I add one more bottle?” the door with a wry smile. Fanny exhales and nods. The girl went straight back to get another beer. When he returned, the young man had already left by leaving 300 thousand money on the table.

It's night, I may be dreaming. Fanny patted him on the cheek. The money and empty beer bottles were still there. He wondered what would happen if he told Demian and Sara that David Albert would go to school tomorrow.
