"that's exhausting! It's even more torturous than when I married Nino back then, huh!" I was monologuing while throwing my body in the king size bed of the hotel I was staying at. I was finally able to escape the ballroom after repeatedly whining at Sean, while he was still busy receiving congratulations from his friends and co-workers that I could not count.
My legs are really sore, I can't hold on much longer there. There were none of her friends I knew, so why would I waste my time serving them with a smile that I kept forcing. No matter how many hundred people he invited, they kept coming nonstop, one went, another appeared, I didn't even have time to fill my stomach at all.
I woke up to feel someone patting my face, I slowly opened my eyes, I smiled as soon as Ben woke me up with his little hand. "Ben, who's here with?" I pulled her body into my arms, I woke up and found Mom smiling at me by the side of the bed. "Mommy missed you, Ben!" I showered my adorable son's cheeks with a kiss until he protested with the ploy of his children.
"Mom, stop! Ben's grown up, Mom! Soon want to have a sister." I'm surprised not to play hear what she said. Where does he know such a language, his speech has not even been really fluent.
"Ben, who taught you to say that? Which sister do you mean, honey?"
"Of course her sister, you're not thinking about delaying pregnancy, are you?" mia's new voice coming out of the bathroom made me take my eyes off, I wonder why she's so happy to take care of me now.
"Mia, you're really fit to replace Mom. Mom, leave your job to her, she'll do everything well, you can take a day off and enjoy your old age, Mom!" I said flat.
"Yes, and I will continue to pester your household like all the other mothers!" my eyes are round hearing the answer.
"Yes, God! Why did you send this girl to us?" I shook my head in disbelief, while Mia and Mother chuckled at my grievances.
I set my foot to walk in a small closet to pick up a change of clothes, then came out and turned my back to Mia.
"Tell Sean not to buy you a dress with a zipper on the back. It's important before you beat him up just because of stuff like this." I didn't respond to Mia's rant, the girl won't stop if she keeps on being served. Her endless jabs only made me more dizzy.
"You must prepare, your husband is waiting." I was stunned to hear Mom's words, momentarily digesting her intentions.
Ah, husband! I remembered that my status had changed a few hours ago, "Yes, my God! Did I leave her too long, Mom? What time is it?" I realized that I had forgotten about Sean since then, how could I have done this on my wedding day. Jesus, Franda! You really are the worst bride in the world!
"Hour 3, Sean's waiting for you downstairs. Get ready and meet him."
I quickly went into the bathroom to clean myself up, only 15 minutes later I came back out, there is no time to linger enjoying the ritual of soaking in warm water because Sean I have been abandoned since. I hope he's not angry or sulking, it's not funny if we had a fight the first day we got married. Wait, why am I worried about him? I don't love her, do I? Aaa...
"Ben, Mommy's staying for a while huh." I said to my beloved son, Ben looks disappointed, he's not satisfied playing with me.
"Where?"
"Mommy wants to see Uncle Sean for a second, Ben's playing with Granny and aunty Mia first, okay?"
"Lollipop?" huh! I laughed, this baby is really smart to take advantage of the situation.
"Deal up! Mommy's gonna get you a lollipop!" I kissed her as soon as she smiled, adorable.
"Mom, I'm down for a second" I said to Mom, not forgetting to put a kiss on her wrinkled cheek.
Mom stroked my arm with a smile, "It's okay too, accompany her and start learning to accept your position when with her" said mom, I nodded and smiled back. I'm holding the old body before I get out.
My steps galloped through the hallway of the hotel, walking leisurely while pulling out a cell phone from my gucci clutch bag.
"In the lounge." I looked around and turned off the phone as soon as I saw Sean sitting with Edward. They looked relaxed, Sean had also changed his tuxedo suit. Hah, of course he replaced it, who would use it when the bride ran away and would sleep for hours.
"I'm sorry, I fell asleep" I said, I felt so guilty for leaving her for so long.
Sean smiled, not looking upset at all, "Is your sleep enough?" he said while stroking my back, I melted getting such treatment. I used to feel it when I was with Nino, but this time it felt different, more immersive.
Uh, Nino! He was not present at my wedding. I did not expect her to come even though I invited her, lest she mess up and embarrass me. I know my ex-husband very well, he won't let me live quietly after I leave him and marry Sean.
"Yes, that's fine." I replied.
"That means you're ready for tonight." I flinched, my heart pounding, the words that came out of his mouth were so unfamiliar, reminding me of something that was long gone from my life.
"Y-yes." I replied clumsyly, my hands squeezing the edge of the sofa, trying to throw out the nervousness as well as upset. Yes, I was annoyed at Edward, my brother raised his eyebrows many times to tease me, he knew I was hiding my anxiety. It sucks!
"Well, Sean, since your host has come, there's no reason for me to linger here. I trust my sister to you, I hope you can tame her."
"Fuck you, Ed! You think I'm the beast that's gonna pounce on him?"
"You are more terrible than a beast, Panda! Haha... Sean, be careful with him. His behavior is the same as his name... Panda, it looks cute and adorable, but the original is deadly, she can be..."
"Ed, stop! You can make me a widow again on my wedding day!" I snapped at Edward, his mouth was really brazen. I really wanted to sew her lips together so she would stop babbling. God, why is everyone so happy to tease me!
"Thank's, John!" I turned my attention to Sean, staring in surprise at him. Not to lose my frustration with Edward, came Sean's words that surprised me even more.
"John's? Why do you call him that?" John is Ed's call from his close friends. Wait, are they close friends? I looked at Sean then turned to Edward who had walked away, waving his hands without looking back. Goddamnit!
"Yes, I've been friends with Ed for a long time!" Sean understood what my question meant.
"So..."
"Yes, exactly as you think!"
"Damn it! Why not say it?"
"Keep your anger until tomorrow, there's something more important to do."
What kind of marriage is this?!
