"Didn't you want to meet her?"
I turned my head to look at Sean who was asking me from the edge of the bed. We just got back to pick up Ben and Lily at my apartment and now they're asleep.
I took a heavy breath, leaned back against the back of the sofa and cast another look towards the cloudy sky. One hand holds the phone while the other holds the head. My mind floated on the object Sean was talking about. "I don't know." I said. I understand Sean's question, but I really don't know the answer.
Am I ready to meet him?
Sean galloped up to me and landed his body attached to me. I was fascinated by her beautiful face. A sight I've been missing for two months, and now I can see it again. There was nothing more tantalizing than being able to witness his perfect and thrilling figure. I can't possibly be willing to let go of all the agility fused in her beautiful body.
"Didn't you want to see his face, Franda?
I didn't answer the question. Besides not wanting to talk about my real mother, I still wanted to look at her face. The corner of my mouth curved high when met with her blue eyes, as if she was trying to drown me there. I twisted my body until we were facing sideways. Next to my hand came up cupping his hard jaw, and then I heard a soft growl from his chest.
My fingers crept along her perfect face line. "Why are you so handsome, Sean?" whispered before his lips. She smiled shyly, while her cheeks met red. Ah, I forgot my husband is also a human who can blush.
"Why are you so pretty, Franda?" reply, imitating my style while tucking the hair that covers part of my face into the ears.
I giggled softly and kissed her lips at a glance. "So, are we going to play question throw now?" I asked flirtatiously as I moved my finger down touching a thick pulse that adorned his neck. And he growled again.
"Franda," he murmured hoarsely, resisting desire.
"Hm?"
"How many gallons of wine did you spend last night? I'm sure the club's owner is partying now getting a vip customer who's still drunk today."
I laughed in response to his pleasant sense of humor. I kissed her lips before I answered. "I used your money, Daddy. Have you seen your bank bill?" I said relax, rubbing his neck.
"Franda," Sean rounded his eyes, but his lips smiled beautifully. "Besides being naughty and a liar, it turns out you're also a thief."
"I didn't steal ya, Warner. I was just using what was in front of my eyes." I replied cheerfully, twitching flirtatiously at him.
"Smart girl" he said as he poked my nose. "Now, tell me what you've been doing for two months?" suddenly snoring.
I shrugged my shoulders. "I told you, it's a suck. I'm mentally exhausted. There's not much I can do because your face keeps popping into my head." I replied as I observed the change in her face. His forehead creased while his eyes narrowed at me. "Why?"
Sean's mouth was raised in a very impressive way. "We're compatible, Franda. I myself can barely work as long as you're sulking." Then he touched my stomach and lowered his gaze for a moment crashing into my eyes with his eyes again. "Is it still sick?" Sean sounded worried.
I was closed to enjoy the soothing touch of her hand on my stomach, feeling very comfortable. I felt protected by her gentle and caring attitude. "No."
I've seen him feel guilty many times, but this time he looked very tormented. I could hear the sincerity of his voice, Sean was truly sorry for his actions. And now his eyes are getting wet. Watching a man cry out of guilt is rare, and I should be grateful that he let me see that scene again. Sean was crying for me. Thank you for making this man a part of my life.
"Franda," he sighed softly, his lips trembling. "I've never felt such great affection after my mother died. I've always lived alone, no one gave me anything like what you gave me. You're so amazing, Franda. Your figure is so magical in luring me. You're gentle, loving, and you love me. I won't be able to breathe if you leave me." Her tears trickled down, flowing through her nose until it fell down on her shirt.
I couldn't waste any longer and watched her cry like that. With both hands he cupped his face. "Sean, I won't leave you." I said in a subtle voice, expressing solemnity in my speech.
"You're the one person I need most. You're my whole life. I will not abandon the only source of my spirit. Thank you for loving me so deeply, Sean. Thank you for your patience with me. Thank you for everything you've given me. I'll always be with you, Sean. Forever." I added.
I moved my fingers through her hot tears, then Sean hugged me tightly while kissing my forehead. The smell of her sweet body instantly made me calm and peaceful, dispelling any worries that filled my head. Our lives are too complicated and painful, but I am grateful to be able to go through all those days with him.
Every marriage will always have problems in it, no matter we are ready or not, the blow will always come without knowing the time. I'm not someone who can handle problems easily but I'm glad Sean helped me and he always strengthened me.
Back then, when I was Nino's wife, I was faced with betrayal. It wasn't enough that he even kept repeating it with the same person. It was like I was betting on my own life but I lost in the end. And when we got divorced, I asked God, if I ever met someone who would be part of my life again... I don't want to have the same problems as my first marriage. And, yeah... God granted my prayers.
God is drawing me to Sean. Good, gentle, and loyal man. There is no gap in his personal life. She was so perfect, even too perfect for my messed up self. Then trouble came hitting us in a row and blindly. It left us dazed and almost lost our way. But, for the umpteenth time, we managed to get rid of each other's ego. Return something where it should be. I went back to my husband, and he came back to me.
It was amazing the journey I had with him. The roller coaster in our marriage was very stressful, going up and down quickly. A part of me might not be able to get through that, I mean, I'm as strong as I am? If it wasn't for Sean accompanying me, then it was certain I would have gotten lost somewhere and might not have been able to find my way back.
"Thank you, Husband." I muttered in his chest while enjoying the touch of his hand on my head. I took a deep breath until her tantalizing scent sank into my chest. I'm crazy about this guy.
"I love you, Franda."
"Mom, Dad, I got the millennium falcon! Did you buy it?"
We gasped when we heard the sound of the room door opening suddenly and Ben yelled in excitement at the gift he must have just seen. With a forced romantic and moving moment that must be replaced with a carefree laugh that came out of the mouth of Sean and I. We were still hugging on the sofa while Ben ran and directly infiltrated our midst. Take Sean's attention away from me.
"Do you like it?"
"Absolutely! I've been dreaming about it all the time. But last night was the last! Thank you, guys. I love you!" Ben kissed us alternately. His face was very bright and his eyes were glittering with pleasure.
I held out a hand rubbing Ben's head with a happy smiling lip, while Sean asked him again.
"Ben, can you help me?" Ben nodded his head quickly. "Come, come with Daddy."
My eyebrows shot up while Sean gave me a strange look, he even glanced at me before stepping out of the room with Ben.
