Elnino was still sitting quietly on the floor. It is very difficult for him to face this reality even though he has been preparing for 4 years ago. After telling Mama Rossa the truth, now she must tell Franda immediately. He got up from his seat, pulled the phone out of his pocket and contacted Franda.
"Hello, Honey! Are you done with Mama?" Franda spoke at the end of the phone.
"Yes, Honey. Just finished. You in the boutique?" ask Nino.
"Yes, today's meeting was cancelled. Huh! I was in a hurry." Franda complains of her husband's spoiled.
"Maybe there's something urgent for your client, honey. Forget him for now. I'm gonna drop by your boutique, let's have lunch together."
"Yes, I'm waiting at the boutique. Don't be too long, I'm bored here." Franda spoke in a spoiled tone. Nino smiled imagining what his wife's face was like at the time.
"Yes, be patient a little bit. I'm leaving now, Love you."
"Love you, too!" answer Franda.
Nino rushes downstairs and invites Mama to the road now, then the two head to Franda's boutique in Nino's car. Today he wanted to surprise his wife by bringing Mama Rossa lunch together.
Arriving at the boutique, Nino immediately invited Mama Rossa in and went straight to Franda's room. The two stepped over while smiling at some of Franda's employees. They were a little surprised to see the presence of Mama Rossa, because in recent years the woman had never visited Franda in her boutique.
Mama Rossa observed Franda's boutique, seeing that her daughter-in-law's business was very much different from the last time she came and visited the place. He felt even more guilty considering how bad he had said in the past to his son-in-law.
Nino saw his mother who was still busy observing his wife's boutique just smiling, leaving Mama Rossa and went straight into Franda's room and saw his wife sitting at her desk while focusing on scribbling paper. Not realizing her husband had come in and noticed her.
"Am I bothering you, ma'am?" Nino opened her voice and Franda turned her head and placed the pencil on the table. He leaned his head against the chair without intending to stand up.
"When have you been there, honey?" Franda prepared to welcome her husband who was now approaching, immediately raised both hands as if asking for Nino's bow, then immediately kissed her husband's lips with affection.
"Not long. I love watching you focus like that. Your beauty multiplies many times." said Nino while stroking his wife's smooth cheeks. Kissing the lips like Franda just did.
"What about Mama? You're not scolding her, are you?" ask Franda curiously. Her left hand hugged her husband, while her right now plays the buttons of Nino's shirt.
"No, Honey. I promised you. We were just talking. Ordinary scorching. And I'm glad Mama understands what I mean." Nino was playing Franda's hair, rubbing his wife's head. Body language says that he loves the woman in front of him.
"Oh, huh? Mama said what?" ask Franda. Now both of his hands were hugging Nino's waist. Dance closer as if afraid of losing. Franda looked up to see her husband's face.
"Yes, Mama said she wanted to apologize to you." Nino bowed, pasting yes and his wife's lips, me**** a little loud, which Franda of course gladly replied.
"Can't you guys close the door?" he said in an annoyed tone, looking at the two.
Franda who was shocked immediately broke away from her husband, she did not know that her in-laws were there. Smiling embarrassedly while looking cynically at Nino.
"Sorry, Ma. I didn't know Mama was here, hehe." Franda got up from the chair and approached and hugged Mama Rossa.
"Darling, why didn't you tell me Mama was coming?" turning her eyes to her husband, protesting with a slightly intimidating look.
"I want to surprise you. We're having lunch with Mama today." Nino pulled the waist of his wife, indifferent to the sharp gaze of the woman he loved.
"Yes already, then come on, Ma. What do you want to eat today?" Franda immediately pulled her hand from Mama Rossa's back, intending to take the bag. Mamu Mama Rossa held him down, and grabbed Franda's hand.
"Frand... Mama wants to apologize to you. Mama realizes it's too much to corner you for child problems. Forgive the words of your mother that hurt your heart. Mama who is too eager to have grandchildren does not realize that you also want children. Mama's really sorry." Mama Rossa spoke with a sad face, rubbing her daughter-in-law's hand gently as if to show that she felt very guilty.
Franda was a little surprised by Mama Rossa's apology. He felt something was wrong. Franda knew her in-laws very well. There's no way Mama Rossa would apologize like that if there wasn't something. But then he smiled.
"Alright, Ma. I never put it in my heart. I know Mama's desire to have grandchildren, I just want us to be patient, Ma." Franda sincerely replied to her in-laws apology.
"Mom forget everything, we go eat now" added Franda then walked to pick up the bag. A little bit of a look of wonder at her husband. Nino just shrugged her shoulders.
.
After lunch, they separated. Nino heads to the office after driving Franda back to the boutique and Mama Rossa home.
Nino can't focus on her current job. He thought of how to tell Franda about the test results, because somehow Franda would find out. Franda has a right to know. He does not want Franda to know it from others, must He tell himself. At the very least, Franda would see the honesty he was about to say.
The thought of Franda going berserk kept running around in his head. The fear of abandonment cannot be forgotten. He wanted to drown himself in order to forget the problems he was facing at this time.
Nino realized Franda would be very disappointed if he told her the lie. It was not impossible that Franda would leave him, considering his mistake was huge this time.
During their seven-year marriage, Nino knew his wife well. Indeed, Franda had never once left when they had a storm, but Nino was worried that this time it would be different. His mistake this time was inexcusable. He was guilty, but all this time Franda bore him. His wife who received all the unkind remarks from her mother, not to mention the mocking gazes from the people.
Nino breathed a rough breath. Glance at the clock of his office wall that already showed at 7 p.m. With a mind drifting everywhere, Nino stepped out of the office and went home.
