The day before our next training schedule is Maggie's birthday. In addition to the meal, Sam and I arranged for a girl's day filled with shopping, chatting, and eating, or as Maggie termed it, "The Holy Trinity of Girls." And to do all that, then at nine o'clock in the morning the four of us met for breakfast at a slick restaurant in town. Just the girls.
One of the sweetest things I just learned from Maggie was how excited she was to have her birthday. It seems like I've never known someone who liked his special day that big. No matter what he does or where he spends it, he has the amazing ability to transform himself into a cheerful little boy, finding magic in everything.
When Maggie saw the pink and pale green balloons we were tying to her seat, she cheered loudly to the point of making an old man sitting by the window almost have a heart attack. The barista, whom Mia had wooed before to help us, brought us a heart-shaped cake and a cappucino with a brown powder in the shape of the letter "M" on it, and then brought it, and the barista gets a kiss on the cheek from Maggie for pay.
After doing body care, eat a slice of graceful Australian cake as a morning tea companion at the bakery, and two hours of shopping, arguably Maggie's mood is cheerful. At lunch in a Japanese restaurant, he finally took a break.
"I had the best day. Thank you very much!"
Sam hugged her. "Originally you're happy, that's the most important."
"Has he always been like this?" Mia whispered to Sam, as Maggie exclaimed at the attraction of the sturdy coffee maker at breakfast.
Sam smiled at him. "always. Birthdays make it this way. That's sweet..."
"It's exhausting" said Mia. I glared at him then he hurriedly added. "But it's sweet too."
I've known my sister a lot, and sometimes I still have a hard time getting used to her honesty and her ability to make insinuating comments on any topic. Me, Sam, and Maggie liked to comment on the things we saw around us, but Mia took it to a higher level, mercilessly criticizing whatever was within her sight.
Even Maggie, amidst the excitement of her very girl's birthday, commented on it that afternoon as we toured the art gallery, watching the people while enjoying the art. When three mothers in their 50s walked in chatting and laughing loudly provoked our attention, Sam elbowed me. "That's me, you, and Maggie in twenty years."
I laugh. "Who's afraid. Looks like I'm wearing a green suit with brown skin for days on end and a Gucci suit."
"Not to mention his embarrassing outspoken voice echoing in the gallery. It was a nightmare." Mia's dream was relaxed, her smile instantly vanished as Sam, Maggie, and I turned a surprised look at her.
Maggie's screams dimmed. "You don't care about other people's feelings, do you?"
Welcome to my sister's world, guys!
Mia chuckles restlessly. "I'm just saying. I didn't mean anything, just..."
"No, I get it, Mia. But we're here for fun, not character assassination."
"Okay, I'm sorry. I don't want to ruin your birthday."
As soon as she was gone, Maggie's smile re-expanded. "Absolutely not. Let's have some fun, okay?"
Successfully spared the awkward moment, our afternoon continued even though I realized that Mia was careful with every topic of conversation. I could barely resist laughing when several times he was seen holding his mouth that was as spicy as a carolina reaper. I could finally see my sister being tormented.
An hour later we plopped onto the luxurious couches of a wine bar not far from the art gallery for drinks towards the end of shopping before heading home and getting ready for the evening.
Maggie piled up the shopping bag next to her and smiled at us. "How fun it is today. Thanks guys, this is exactly what I need."
"It's nice that you enjoy it, and it's not over." I said with a smile.
Maggie's eyes twinkled. "I know." She looked at Mia. "So how's your relationship going with Jason?"
All eyes turned to Mia. "Nothing special. He was too stubborn and forced me, and I didn't like that."
"I saw your Instagram account the other day and I can't believe how many fans you have right now" Sam said, sipping a cocktail as red as Marilyn Monroe's lips.
"They're not fans." protested Mia.
"Ah, what a pity," Maggie pretended to be disappointed by the contrived look. "What about the mayor?"
Mia's shoulder squeezed as she let out a rough breath. "I don't know why you're so curious about my love story. Thank you, but I don't want to hear a spate of questions that I don't know the answer to myself."
I just wanted to ask 'why don't you know the answer?' when Mia spoke again. "It's dizzying! This is more than a matter of seeking pleasure. It's about following my heart. I know you'll think I'm crazy for expecting it, but if I don't try again it seems like I'll always wonder what would have happened if I had just given him a chance."
Hearing Mia's explanation like that, plus her pitiful look, made me feel her sadness as well. I don't know how much this has to do with the mayor, but if you look at his expression right now, he doesn't seem to be messing around with his feelings. I know Mia's nature, and I told you that Mia couldn't possibly fall in love with anyone. It's not that easy to get her heart. Even Jason was not able to tear it down, even though they had made crazy love. Oh my God.. What's wrong with my sister? Is my madness contagious to her?
In the evening we gathered again around the round table of a French restaurant located not far from the resort, we deliberately chose that place as the highlight of Maggie's birthday celebration, which was the first place to be, because my mom and the others were at the resort.
It was nice to see my friends relaxed and happy. As soon as we finished eating, Maggie was already squealing as she opened the box of gifts from us that we had deliberately collected into one.
Matthew, who was busy tapping the glass, wine bottle, and round blue glass vase on the table, poured water in and out to get the right tones, and, proud to play Happy Birthday for her joyful women, with all of us singing it in four-voice harmony, which entertained the other guests.
This one moment perfectly summed up everything I liked from my friends. And certainly only this one time the song Happy Birthday was asked to be re-sung at the restaurant.
While Sean and Jason were counting the bills, Maggie swapped seats with Matthew to sit next to me. "It's so exciting today, Franda. Thanks for getting everything ready. And for the card... Geez, I have to save my entire salary for half a year in order to give you the equivalent gift for your birthday" she said in a dramatic tone.
I secretly bought him a Gucci backpack while we were shopping because I thought he'd need it at work. By the way, Maggie's a kindergarten teacher.
I cupped Maggie's hand. "Mags, don't be like this. You're my friend and I'm glad to know you. I don't mind if I have to buy you ten or twenty more bags as long as you're still willing to be my friend. Please, don't hesitate to tell me or Sean, or Mia, if you need anything."
Maggie's eyes started getting wet, and then she hugged me. "Thank you, girl. May God always bestow good on your life and your family."
I nodded while rubbing his back. "Amen. The same prayer for you and your family." I unraveled our embrace. "Once again, happy birthday, Mags!"
"Thank you."
When Sean and Jason came back to the table, we immediately said goodbye to each other and went home to each other.
"Are you having fun, baby?" Sean asked when we were in our room at the resort and had changed clothes.
I smiled broadly, while cleaning up the makeup I answered her. "Yes, I'm so happy. Maggie's been really funny all day." I said cheerfully.
I laugh. Turning his face to look at her while narrowing his eyes, then approaching her and instantly kissing her lips greedily. "Is that enough?" I asked after our kiss came off.
Sean turned his shoulders. "I thought the money you spent was not small, Franda..."
"Warner, you're really calculating!" I shake my head joking. "Prepare yourself to receive payment, sugar daddy."
Suddenly his smile spread wide from one ear to the other, then hurriedly took off his newly worn pajamas and leaped excitedly onto the bed.
"Oh my goodness, Sean! The bed will be broken with your big body and I don't want to fuck on marble." I protested.
"We still have a couch, Franda. Quickly finish your face or I'll start it without you."
I snorted, glancing at him through the mirror reflection. "Oh, as if you could. My hands and mouth are more expert than anything, Sean, you've been feeling it a lot, haven't you?" I said flirtatiously defiant.
Not wanting to waste time, he quickly approached me and threw me in bed. I laughed while Sean grumbled. "You're too chatty! I've been waiting for you all day, Franda."
I moved quickly to stand on the opposite edge of the bed as she tried to grab me. "Franda," he growled, his hands resting on his waist while his manhood danced to call out to me.
I laughed while shaking my head. "You gotta try, Warner!" I challenged him again.
Sean grinned mischievously, next to his knee rising to the edge of the bed while I took a swing in the face of his attack. "I'll get you, Franda."
I flicked my hair behind my shoulders and raised my pajamas arms. "You don't know how fast I'm moving, Sean."
"All right," she replied confidently, we both knew she would still get me. His eyes were enthusiastic.
"Should I take off the bra to distract you?" I muttered sexyly, then laughed amusedly watching the change in her expression.
"Damn it, you know my weakness!" Sean shook his head in disappointment, but a line of his smile appeared as I laughed again.
"Are you sure you can catch me now?" I raise my eyebrows teasing him. This is really fun!
Sean grinned. "of course. Are you sure you want to run away from me?"
I slowly removed my bra and threw it at him and started running towards the changing room while screeching loudly. But I lost fast, he managed to catch me right before I got past him "I won" he said. "You're slow, Franda."
I gasped for breath and tried to escape from his grip, which made Sean hug me tighter in front of him his hard chest. "This is unfair! You're lucky to be so close to the door. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to catch me."
"Omong empty!" He protested, smothering my mouth with his mouth.
I kissed her back while thinking of the idea of breaking away from her. Then I squeezed his already hardened manhood. "I want you, Sean. Please.." I whispered as wildly as possible on his lips.
Sean kissed me harder, greedier and hungrier. Then I felt the grip of his hand begin to weaken, and then I used the opportunity to push him away and run away.
"I'm sorry, Warner." My lips were curved high, while my heart was racing against the rush of his eyes.
"You cheated!" he said while approaching me.
I stood at the end of the sofa, watching his every move. "I'm just trying to compete." I relaxed.
Sean laughed, shaking his head several times, which made his manhood move wildly. I gulped, struggling so hard not to give myself up to him. "Since when? You're the only woman who doesn't know competition, Franda."
"Okay, maybe you're right. But I really want to win this time." I smiled proudly at my determination while thinking of a step to run away from her.
Sean challenged back. "I am too." He grins. "Did you know? I've set up an Instagram account just like you asked." Sean grabbed his phone from the couch table. "I've been following you, but you haven't followed back. Shit!"
I gawked with my eyes and mouth wide open before finally jumping and screeching in excitement. "really?" many ensure. Her cunningly smiling lips made me rethink to believe her. "You lied, Sean."
Sean raised both eyebrows and raised both hands in surrender. "No. Swear, man!" He tried to convince me, but I doubted. This could be his tactic to deceive me. "Would you like to see it?"
"Yes, throw your phone."
"Can't be, Franda. You're the one who should come to me."
"South..." I put on a sullen face, hoping he'd throw his phone. "Now you're cheating!"
He raised his shoulder, turned around and stepped towards the bed. "I won't force you to not see it."
"No, I want to.." I said quickly. Started to step closer to her, begging with my eyes for her to show me her instagram account.
Sean pointed his phone screen at me. He really made it! No posts yet, no followers, and just following one person, all I'm guessing is my account. Then my laughter exploded upon seeing his username.
"'@fansfrandawarner789' is so uncool, dear..."
"Figures other than 789 are already in use" he joked.
I laugh. "Warner..." I kissed her. Can't help my smile even though our mouths are already clashing. "I really want you now" I whispered between kisses.
"You sure?"
"Very sure." I threw the phone into the bed and then I jumped into his body. With the fingers squeezing her hair, my lips got hot kissing her while Sean held my butt with both hands. "I love you, Sean."
