I couldn't help but laugh as I read the last message Franda sent me. Lately his emotions were very uncontrollable, making me almost desperate to deal with it. I'm sure if I stand in front of him now, the most melodious song of the housewives will flow from his sweet mouth, but with a rhythm that is not sweet at all.

I told my mother-in-law, hoping she could give me some advice to improve Franda's emotions, but there wasn't much I could get. My mother-in-law said that Franda is something that usually happens to pregnant women.

"Sir, someone named Joseph Watt wants to meet you."

Selena's voice blew my daydream. I turned and found her standing in the doorway of my room, waiting for my answer.

I'm nodding. "Yes, let him in." I said.

A few seconds later, the man Selena was referring to entered my room with an enthusiastic look. I'm sure he just hit the jackpot in the job I gave him, making me even more excited to hear the news soon.

"Joe!" I take a step and open my hand. "How are you, man?"

Joe smiled broadly, his spirit growing more and more as he hugged me. "Very amazingly good, sir." said cheerfully.

I led her to sit on the sofa in the corner of the room, and we exchanged news while waiting for Selena to bring us a drink. For a moment I held back my curiosity about the news she was about to receive, until Selena walked back into my room with two cups of coffee.

"Selena, don't let anyone into my room until I'm done talking to Joe" I said firmly, staring into his eyes.

"Yes, sir." he said, nodding his head, then turned and stepped out of the room.

I looked at her until she disappeared and the door of my room closed before returning my gaze to Joe. "So, what do you got, Joe?" ask me without wasting time.

Joe was silent for a moment, looking somewhat anxious but the spirit was still clearly visible from his eyes. "Sir, I don't know if this is good news or not, but I'm sure it'll be a little surprising" he said, then he took out a map from the bag he was carrying and put some photos on the table.

I looked at the photos that Joe had taken, they all looked the same, just in different places and times.

Joe cleared his throat. "I've been investigating all about the woman named Lucia Kailolo, and I can confirm there's nothing wrong with my investigation."

I'm nodding. "Continue."

Joe pushed a picture of a woman in front of me. "This woman is named Lucia Kailolo, she does not live in Japan as we know so far, but in Germany. I only found out about it a week after I sent her picture while you were in Queensland" Joe explained, I just nodded and let her continue.

I glanced at Joe at a glance, his look hesitant. After a few seconds he finally pushed one more photo in front of me. A photo of a middle-aged woman with a better appearance. I watched him closely, and that's where I realized the surprise Joe was referring to. "Why is this woman so similar to..."

"Your wife, sir." murmured Joe cut me off.

I gasped when I found out where we were going, somehow I felt something was wrong with Franda's family. Not wanting to second-guess, I asked Joe to continue with a glance.

"This woman is Bianka Kailolo, the older sister of Lucia Kailolo, who lives in Japan and uses her sister's identity, while Lucia lives with someone else's identity. Both were involved in an accident that killed your wife's real father. Bianka and Lucia worked together to fake her death."

"But how can it? Didn't the police confirm that the two victims in the accident were my wife's parents? After all, the results of the investigation said that it was purely an accident."

"Yes, there he is. I've also confirmed that the man in the car is your wife's real father, but the woman is her secretary. Bianca arranged the accident because she knew that her husband had betrayed her. That's why Lucia disappeared after her brother was declared dead."

I'm speechless. I was trying to digest everything that Joe had just said, and my thoughts started to drift to Franda. I can't imagine how he would react if he knew this. For decades he suffered the death of his parents, causing a trauma that he could not eliminate until now.

I took a deep breath before speaking. "How was my wife's birth mother's life in Japan, Joe?"

"Well, we had a little trouble finding out about him because his life was too closed. She lives with her husband, a native Japanese, owner of a sizable textile factory. There's no information whatsoever that says they have children."

I'm silent again. This fact would hit Franda very hard, and no doubt her psyche would be re-shaken if she knew this. But I couldn't possibly cover up this reality any longer considering Franda kept asking me about her tant.

"What else do you get besides this, Joe?" I break the silence. Joe was just about to answer, but hurriedly held back his words when we heard the sound of my door opening.

"Selena, I told you..." I fell silent, gulping as I found out that what went into my room was not Selena, but Franda.

He walked across the room with a frowning face, with one hand on his stomach while the other held a bag. "I miss you" he said in a trembling voice.

I hurriedly glanced at Joe, and it was fortunate that he swiftly gathered all the photos on the table and put them back in his bag. Just as he finished that, Franda sat down next to me and immediately hugged me. "Why don't you return my message?" Now she's crying while putting her face to my neck.

I hugged her tighter, gently rubbing her back to calm her down. "What's up, Franda?" I said as I caught my breath, trying to shake off the nervousness in my tone, and I was grateful that she didn't realize that.

I turned to Joe, told him to come out through a nod of his head, then turned his head back towards Franda. "Hey, what's wrong?" ask me one more time.

"I told you, I miss you." she said intermittently, holding back tears.

I chuckled softly, it's not the first time she's cried like this since her pregnancy, until I feel used to hearing her cry just because of the little things. He even cried when I played with Ben and said I didn't notice him.

"Hey, calm down." I muttered softly, rubbed his cheek gently, then grabbed a bottle of water from the table and opened the lid. "Come, have a drink."

She shook her head. "I came here because I wanted to hold you, not to ask for water" she said cynically.

Instantly my laughter exploded, and I couldn't help but kiss her cheek. "You know? I think you're really gonna tie me to bed after this."

He suddenly fell silent, then withdrew from me. He looked at me with a carefree smile, as if nothing had happened before. "Do you want me to tie you up now?" ask with spirit.

I shook my head quickly. "No way."
