chapter 36
Franda meets Mia in her room after she finishes treating Nino's wounds and makes sure the man sleeps in the room. Nino who was stubborn and wanted to solve their problems, was immediately speechless when Franda was angry and snapped at him. He was forced to follow the orders of his wife who told him to sleep.
"What's happen?" mia asked as soon as Franda entered the room.
"My husband went crazy because of our behavior last night" replied Franda limp while sitting leaning on the head of the bed. He kneaded his temple to eliminate the slight dizziness that attacked him earlier.
"What did he do to you? He hit you?" ask Mia worriedly.
"Ck! Nino is not that bad." said Franda lazily. Mia's question made absolutely no sense to him.
"Then, what happened? Why is your room destroyed like that?" attack Mia again with her question.
"He was angry because I was drunk last night and went home with Sean. I feel new to him now, you know I'm so scared to see him angry like that, even I wasn't sure I'd survive the rampage." replied Franda.
"Why really? Tell me the truth, don't confuse me.." said Mia impatiently.
"I'm terrible, Mia!... He was an alcoholic, and I don't even know that he totally stopped when we're married. Crazy, right?" Franda sighed.
"We lived together for 7 years, slept in the same bed, shared a lot of things, but I didn't even know he had suffered from the hard consequences of getting rid of his addiction to alcohol, and he stopped for me!" franda.
Mia silently listened, Franda's answer did not satisfy her.
"Actually Nino was angry not because I was drunk, but because of Sean. You remember when Sean said I asked him to come with me for a drink?" franda asked who was replied by a nod by Mia.
"That night I was staying at his house, I had a big fuss with Nino when I came home the next day. I told Nino honestly that I went with a man, but she couldn't be angry because it was her fault that made me do that. Then, do you remember when I stayed home and went to lunch but didn't come back home?" Mia nodded again.
"I had lunch with Sean, and Nino saw us. From there he doesn't like it when I'm in touch with Sean, he says Sean looks at me like he wants something, but it's not like that. We were just friends" Franda explained, Mia began to understand the matter and she agreed with her sister-in-law.
"I agree with your husband on the man's business, I don't know how close you guys are but I see the same thing with brother-in-law. That guy wants you!" mia said confidently.
"Oh, huh? Where'd you know that?" franda asked, wondering why Nino and Mia could say that when she herself did not feel there was anything different about Sean's attitude.
"You plain or stupid? It's obvious that he likes you. I saw him watching you a few times a long time ago." replied Mia Ketus. Upset at her brother who is too cute.
"Ah, I don't know! I'm lazy to think about it, Nino is more important right now." Franda lay on her back looking at the ceiling of the room.
"Hm, you're right. How was him? Is he okay?"
Franda nodded. "He's sleeping, hopefully nothing happens to his legs later." Franda folded his hand and made him a pillow.
"Yes, hopefully... Hey, I'm curious!" mia said enthusiastically.
"Where did he get that Dalmore?" tanyakanya.
"She said the auction show." Franda replied briefly.
"Well, it turns out that sister-in-law has a high taste ya." said Mia with amazed eyes, He did not expect Nino could have a limited edition drink that.
"Hm, I also just found out" Franda said as she woke up from her position.
"I want to go to the room, you're still here a long time?" ask Franda.
"I'm coming home soon, I was already nagging for staying over without telling" replied Mia who also woke up.
"I'll get there by taxi and get it, I'll die if I go home without my car." Mia shuddered in horror at the angry face of Dad and Edward if she saw him coming home without a car, the two people would definitely skin him.
"All right, I'm going to the room. Tell me if you want to go home." Franda immediately walked out and returned to her room.
Franda's heart could not calm since earlier, she was very worried about her husband's condition not to mention the anger of the man she loved.
Franda realized why Nino was so disappointed in him, his negligence in maintaining himself as a wife can not be forgotten just like that, his reckless attitude of being drunk and going home with other men is not something to be taken lightly even though nothing happened between them. She should have been able to preserve the honor of herself and her husband.
Franda walks into the room and sees Nino still asleep. He walked closer and sat down on the bed. He saw the pale face of the man who had lived with him for 7 years, the face that always colored his life, who was always willing to do anything to him, put himself first compared to anything. Franda involuntarily cried, her tears just came out without being asked. He regretted that he had hurt Nino.
Franda remembers her husband once saying 'I have never been in love this hard, like you. Thank you for coming and making me king when I just lost my throne'. The words Nino said the night the man proposed to her, and now Franda understood the meaning of the words. Her husband's once bad life made her sad for not knowing it all along.
"Why didn't you tell me? I can be a good listener to you, you don't have to feel it for yourself" Franda said on the sidelines of her cries. She touched Nino's cheeks softly, stroking her gently while admiring her husband's good looks that did not go away even though his face was still pale.
"I'm sorry that I didn't know you were suffering so much, I'm sorry that I let you down. It never crossed my mind to betray let alone take revenge on you, honey... I really didn't know she was there." continued Franda, her cries getting louder.
"I don't want to lose you, please trust me... I admit guilt for my childish attitude, I should have realized that my life is entirely yours and only for you... Don't hide anything from me, honey..." Franda was silent as she saw Nino writhing, her tears quickly wiped away.
Actually Nino had not slept since, he was just pretending to obey his wife. Even his tears had also come out when he heard all the words of his wife without being realized by Franda. Nino could not hide his disappointment, but Franda's confession he just heard made him a little calm, at least his wife really regretted doing it.
Nino opened her eyes. "You crying?" he acted as if he had not heard his wife.
Franda. "No, how's your leg?" franda said to divert their conversation, when it was very clear he was crying.
"I told you it's fine." replied Nino casually with a smile.
"It can't be okay, the wound is so deep. Why are you holding him like that? What if you run out of blood? You want me to be a pathetic widow?" franda said in a row, the look of his annoyed face could not be held back.
"I'm fine, the proof is that I'm alive now" Nino said with a smile.
"Yes, you're lucky I saw him, otherwise you'd be dead by now!" Franda looked cynically at her husband and smacked the man's chest slowly.
"You're too much! I will not die and let you live happily with your new husband, hahaha..." Nino laughed softly, his words making his wife even more upset.
"You're crazy!!! Who wants to marry again? Ck!!"
"Many are waiting for my death out there and hoping to get my sweet hand" said Nino, laughing and pinched Franda's cheek in dismay, She was so happy to tease her.
Franda laughed. Her husband's silly answer made Franda feel comforted, It's not the first time Nino has thrown such a sentence, but still Franda feels funny hearing it.
Franda grabbed Nino's hand. "Darling, I'm sorry." said Franda slowly, her head lowered.
"Here you go, don't do it again, hm?" Say Nino by tightening her grip.
Franda nodded. "Trust me, I..."
"Ssttt! I believe in you, the important thing is that you already know what to do in the future." said Nino cut, He looked at Franda with a smile.
Franda nodded and returned her husband's smile. Nino pulls Franda to lie down next to her and tightly hugs her beloved wife, choosing to reconcile and settle their quarrel.
