CHAPTER 2: End of the War

After escaping from Martin's men, Ardiaz asks them to head to the hospital to help Evangeline.

“Since when was he like this?” ask Malcolm.

Ardiaz was silent for a moment considering Morgan's harsh treatment of his wife.

“This is all because of your father. He beat her to a fall, and suddenly Eva bled,” replied Ardiaz.

The doctor grabbed Evangeline's arm and checked her already very weak pulse.

“Eva, can you hear me? Just nod your head if yes,”.

Evangeline nodded.

“Is your stomach hurting so much now?” ask Malcolm again.

Evangeline nodded back.

“What is this blood like when you're coming month?” ask Malcolm.

Again the woman nodded weakly.

Malcolm no longer asked. He seemed to be able to guess what was going on with his friend's wife.

“Can speed up the car again? We don't have much time. He's already lost a lot of blood,” Malcolm exclaimed at Damian.

The young hacker stepped on the gas pedal even deeper, considering the distance of the wooden warehouse and the city center is very far.

Elsewhere, battles were seen in the wood shed area in the southern forest of Orchid City.

The Joker leads the army, attacking Martin's base which he also uses to sneak Ardiaz, Mac duff and Evangeline.

Shooting is inevitable. The Joker's forces, almost entirely armed with rifles, defeated most of Martin's men in the building.

Morgan then grabbed something that was behind the suit he was wearing. A key with a seahorse hanger appeared from there.

The man then threw the object towards Martin and was immediately caught by the King.

“That locker locker that is in the underground station of Orchid City. There was a prepaid phone connected to a ship's captain. You can go with the boat tonight too,” Morgan said.

Hearing this, Martin seemed to smile faintly. But without realizing it, he hid his grin behind his bowed face looking at the key.

“Good. Let's follow me out, Boss,” exclaimed Martin.

He then turned and walked towards another door, which led to a pine forest.

Morgan followed him to get out of there. He must immediately find the driver and ask to take him away from there, before someone discovers his whereabouts.

Martin continued to walk in front, but the tail of his eyes always paid attention to his back.

Until he arrived near the barn door, suddenly the King rolled over and squatted in the corner of the room.

While Morgan did not have time to follow him, surprised by the presence of someone who suddenly appeared in front of him.

“Thank you, Mr. Andara,” exclaims the person who is none other than the Joker.

The large-bodied king had apparently combed the area around the pine forest, and had already surrounded the area.

Martin, who already knew the pattern of the Joker attack, apparently deliberately led Morgan to be caught by the King, as well as a diversion for his own escape.

Meanwhile, he escapes from a window on the other side of the warehouse, leaving Morgan.

Morgan can now only resign because it has been caught by the Joker, and betrayed Martin just like that.

The big king ordered his men to capture Morgan and take him away from there.

“Capture this guy, and take him to headquarters. I still have to take care of that traitor,”.

While he went towards Martin running.

He still had other business with the escaped King interrogator.

In the pine forest, Martin seems to run quickly away from the wooden shed that has now become a battleground, or rather a mass grave for his troops.

He kept running until he didn't know where he was.

When he felt that he was far enough away from the wooden warehouse, Martin seemed to stop to take a breath that had been running out.

Southern forest conditions are always foggy with high air pressure, making oxygen levels are limited.

Plus he's been running since. He kept running in order to avoid the battle with the Joker, which the great King would definitely win.

However, just as he was just sitting leaning under the tree, a gleam from above the tree, teased his eyes.

He closed his eyes with his hands and tried to see what was sparkling.

His eyes instantly faded as he knew what was on it.

He woke up and ran back as if he were seeing a ghost. His face looked completely terrified and kept looking back.

Suddenly...

BUGS!

A violent punch landed right on the King interrogator's face, and made him bounce back and fall to the ground.

He had not been able to wake up, his head had been put into a bag and both hands were tied back, while his legs did not escape from the bond.

“What are you doing? Untie me. I am King Lucifer. Don't you know that, huh!” martin shouted to ask to be released.

However, the people who caught him did not care at all and shouldered the man, then took him somewhere.

“Good work. Target we've caught. Now, take them from here,” exclaimed the Joker to his men.

Everyone left the wooden warehouse that is now the mass grave of Martin's men who have been killed entirely.

The clean sweep team left behind to take care of everyone's corpses and remove any traces from the place.

Martin and Morgan were taken away in two different cars.

“What's all done?” asked a woman who had been waiting outside the forest, along with some of her men who were carrying a fleet.

“All cleared. Take Mr. Andara. You know where to take it, right?” joker told a woman who is none other than Alexa

“Alright,” says Alexa.

He then ordered his men to open the back door and put the already-bound Morgan into the back seat.

While he was seen walking toward Martin who was still in the pelvis by two Joker men who were almost the same body as the King.

“Men bod*h. Now, your foul game is done,” Alexa said in front of Martin.

“Capital woman. Untie me. You can't make me like this,” maki Martin by constantly wriggling trying to escape.

However, Alexa did not care at all and turned to her car. The Joker orders his men to put Martin in the car.

The two kings then split up and each took the captives to a different place.
