A Love To Killer's

A Love To Killer's
CHAPTER 2: Back

Evangeline sat next to Ardiaz. She took the husband's hand.

“Why is your skin so dry? Is it very uncomfortable here? Then get up and let's move quickly from here,” said Evangeline.

He gently rubbed the back of Ardiaz's still-covered hand.

“Your hand also feels cold,” murmured

He then raised the hand, and pressed it against his cheek.

“What is this like warm?” evangeline asked the man lying in front of her.

He stared fixedly at the handsome face that was partially covered by the oxygen mask. His eyes again glazed at the condition of the husband is so sad.

“Aren't you going to get up and make fun of me again, hem? Don't you want to call me a whiny again like I used to?” evangeline.

Tears dripped straight from the girl's eyes, wetting her husband's hands. He closed his hot eyes, while adjusting his breathing back tight.

“Why can your life be like this, huh? What are you really looking for? If it's because of my father, I don't care anymore about what your brother's doing."

"I'd rather you go back to normal life like before. Like when we lived together at Dad's house. When you're the annoying guy that always pisses me off. I want us to go back to that time. You want to, right?” evangeline.

The girl kissed the back of her husband's hand, wiping away his tears.

“Since you left, I've always been waiting for you to come back, even if I don't know when. Do you know, when Malcolm said that you were dead, when my mind went blank, my heart hurt a lot. I'm like a captain who lost his way in the middle of such a vast ocean.”

“When I had to fight for my father, you were the only person I could count on, suddenly disappearing without a trace. Ah... Is correct. You didn't even say goodbye when you left. You really are brengs*k. I should have just taken care of our divorce papers at that time,” said Evangeline annoyed.

However, the look on his face returned softly. He lowered his head and buried his face between the folds of the arms resting on the edge of the bed.

His shoulders shook as his sobbing sounded louder and louder.

Outside the room, a man who had been standing there, kept watching Evangeline crying beside her husband's bed.

Evangeline was inside for a long time, until she decided to get out.

“I'll go first. You know, I get tired easily. I'm sure you'll nag if I pass out like that. Tomorrow, I'll come back after work. I don't care if you mind. If you can, get up and upset me,” said Evangeline.

He then gently rubbed the top of Ardiaz's head, and peeked at the man's forehead briefly.

The girl walked out, removed the PPE she was using and went back to see Mac Duff.

Evangeline walked up to the man and sat down in the waiting chair. He still seems to be wiping away the remaining melts in his eyes and nose.

“Why is my fate so sad? Do you know, I've always dreamed of a beautiful marriage, with a man who loved me so much. We went on a romantic honeymoon, until that moment would never be forgotten. But... Huh... Never mind. After all, everything has happened,” Evangeline said.

Mac duff didn't respond at all. He only glanced at the girl sitting next to him.

Evangeline took something from her bag, and offered it to Mac Duff.

“Minum. I'm sure you don't want to get checked out by a doctor, do you? I purposely prepared these medicines so that your wounds would not get worse. Take it,” exclaimed Evangeline while thrusting bags filled with medicine.

Mac Duff won't pick it up and stay quiet. Even Evangeline would not give up. The girl pulled Mac duff's arm so hard that the man sat down, and scrunched his forehead because his stomach was back in pain.

He tried to touch the injured part, but was immediately pushed aside by Mac Duff.

Evangeline also looked grunted by Mac duff's attitude towards her.

“Sucks. It's also your own fault. Who told you to shut up and force me to pull you up, huh?” evangeline.

The girl then opened the package and took some medicine according to the pharmacist's prescription.

He grabbed the bottle of drinking water he had brought earlier, and thrust it at the man.

“Drink now. Let me make sure you take your medicine,” exclaimed Evangeline.

Mac Duff simply turned his head and stared intently at Evangeline. However, the girl who had been made to see a similar gaze from Ardiaz, did not tremble at all and was even more forcing.

“Come take. Or do you want me to feed you, huh?” yell Evangeline again.

Finally, Mac Duff, upset, grabbed the medicine from Evangeline's hand and swallowed it without drinking water.

The man then opened his mouth wide, indicating that all the medicine had been swallowed.

Evangeline smiled at that. His hand lifted and rubbed the top of Mac duff's head.

“Smart boy,” he said.

Evangeline smiled wider and wider seeing the cold-blooded killer so obedient to her. While the man froze looking at the sweet smile, from the girl he had seen just now continued to cry for the husband.

Suddenly, Mac duff regained his senses and immediately brushed Evangeline's hand away from him. That made Evangeline upset again.

“Hah... You're this. Can't you say thank you at all? Really sucks,” grunts Evangeline.

The girl got up from her seat and put her bag back on.

“Ya. I'm gonna leave this here. Make sure you drink three times a day. I gotta go home. I don't want to faint again and trouble others. Please take care of him for me, okay. Tomorrow I will come back again,” Evangeline said.

He put the medicine on a chair, then turned around and walked away from Ardiaz's hospital.

Evangeline doesn't realize Mac Duff is watching her back move away and disappears at the hospital's aisle junction.
