After a few days, Mac Duff, who keeps two genius hackers from escaping Lucifer, gets a call from Ardiaz.
Earlier, he had reported about Malcolm asking to meet with one of them.
Ardiaz did not answer. He also had to think and weigh if they need to meet again with the son of the killer of his parents? Or does he need to tell Malcolm everything about his father's past?
Everything Ardiaz keeps thinking about, while he also has to take care of Evangeline. He doesn't know that Malcolm actually knows anything.
Mac Duff accidentally didn't tell Ardiaz, because he knew the fake King would react differently to the doctor. Also, he wants to see first what Malcolm's actions are if he knows his father's past.
After thinking for a while, Ardiaz called Mac Duff and asked him to meet Malcolm, in an empty warehouse near their cottage.
Just in case, Mac Duff asks Damian or Jordan to put a wiretap on his body to be proof of the conversation they had.
FLASHBACK ENDS.
...❄❄❄❄❄...
Damian moved out of place while carrying a macbook, complete with an earphone that had been installed.
He handed the object to Ardiaz, and it was accepted by the man.
Ardiaz also paired one of the listening devices and began tuning the recording taken by Damian's eavesdropping device.
“You don't have to look behind me. I was not followed by anyone,” said a voice that Ardiaz recognized by Malcolm.
Everything was quiet until the doctor spoke again.
“Is it because I'm my father's son, so you guys stay away from me now?” ask Malcolm.
Ardiaz was seen seriously listening to the recording. He had not heard anything from Mac Duff and continued to hear the doctor's voice.
“Why are you just silent? Is everything right? Oh naw. I forgot that you've been gluing your lips with super adhesive."
"Then let me tell you. I'm Malcolm Andara, the only son of Morgan Andara. The man who masterminded the murder of Danurendra's family, Aaron and Ardiaz's parents."
"Do you think I knew that from the beginning, until you got me out of this circle? Do you think I support my father's actions? Or do you think I'm his spy? Do I look that bad?” cycar Malcolm's.
“Then, what will you do after knowing all that?” ask Mac duff directly.
This immediately caused Malcolm to get caught up with the question from his colleague. He realized there must be doubt in everyone's heart, considering he was the son of a murderer.
Although Malcolm knew very well the father was wrong, but as a child, in his heart he also wanted to defend.
However, he was well aware that all deeds should receive his reward, as well as the father.
“I'm my father's son. I have the right to defend him. But as a human being, I also realized that what my father did was wrong."
"I can only continue to stay away from you, so that you can calmly take revenge on my father. But if I may ask, give him a sentence other than death,” said Malcolm.
“Do you think Alpha would be satisfied just by killing him?” ask Mac duff quickly.
Malcolm was silent for a moment. I heard heavy breathing coming from the doctor's mouth. Her heart aches when it comes to what Ardiaz and his partner are going to do to her, her father.
“At least, let me see it aging, even in very miserable conditions,” concluded Malcolm.
Ardiaz then disconnected the recording, and removed the listening device from his ear. He did not want to continue what was recorded by the eavesdropper.
Now he's increasingly convinced the reason behind Malcolm's departure is because of his family's tragedy. The doctor did it just so he wouldn't get in Ardiaz's way.
Although as a child, Malcolm must have been very hurt to know his father would experience revenge from his own friend.
In the middle of his mind that continues to be fixed on Malcolm, suddenly the ringing of a cell phone disperse daydream.
Ardiaz soon sees who called him, and finds the number of one of Hemachandra's guards he knows is standing guard outside Evangeline's apartment.
“What's up?” ask Ardiaz.
“Sorry, Sir. Missy... Miss disappeared,” he said.
