CHAPTER 2: Eva Faints

Last night, Evangeline, who had been exhausted after a long day of work, could no longer handle her weak body condition. He finally fainted in the middle of the reconnaissance.

Shortly after Evangeline's fall, Ardiaz, Joker, Mac duff, Damian and Jordan are seen exiting the elevator.

It seemed like their meeting was over, but the other King and Duke had yet to come out.

They walked towards the car, but did not go directly inside. The five stopped near their cars, and were seen discussing.

"I'll go to the location. Soon we have to set the strategy, or everything will be messed up" Ardiaz told Joker.

"alright. Then I'll have his army ready. Come on Delta," said the Joker.

"And you, your job is to figure out how far their network is. We must know that to anticipate the lack of troops," Ardiaz exclaimed at the hacker genius number two.

"Well, King," Damian said.

"alright. We'll split up from here. Be careful" said Ardiaz.

Everyone turned and got ready to get in the car.

Suddenly, Mac duff's tail caught something strange in the distance, in the corner of the basement, late between the bins.

A pair of shoes appeared to appear from there, and made the Duke walk over and try to check on him.

"Delta, what's wrong?" ask the joker who saw his men.

Ardiaz who saw it also took a peg, and barreled into the car. He noticed Mac duff walking cautiously toward the poking leg.

The closer it gets, the more it becomes clear that it is the legs of a woman. However, when it was close, Mac duff stopped. He froze, then turned to look at Ardiaz, then again saw the owner of the foot, which was none other than Evangeline.

Seeing Mac duff's reaction, Ardiaz rushed over. However, just a few steps away, Mac Duff had already turned around and walked towards the car.

"Let's change tasks. Let me check the place, you get your troops ready" Mac Duff said.

As the two cross paths, Mac Duff whispers something to Ardiaz.

"Blue ocean" he whispered.

Ardiaz stiffened, while Mac Duff ordered everything to move.

The sky night boss tries to disperse the people, so that Ardiaz can quickly help Evangeline.

Damian and Jordan were even asked to go home first, as was the Joker.

"I still have business with Delta, you better go back first, Joker," Ardiaz said with a fixed gaze on his wife.

His hands clenched firmly, as he could not bear to see his wife in such a miserable condition. However, he also could not be rash to help her, considering that the girl would be in danger if the Luciferians found out about their relationship.

"He was still breathing, but his pulse was so weak. Do we need to take him to the hospital?" ask Mac duff.

Ardiaz was silent. He wanted her to take Evangeline away from here, but she recalled Evangeline's screams to him the other day, and said she no longer wanted to be touched by her dirty self.

"Please lift him up. I'm gonna go find a car. We'll take him to his apartment and get him a doctor" Ardiaz said.

It made Mac Duff frown, because he felt something strange about his partner's attitude.

He did not want to linger thinking, and immediately carried Evangeline's weak body from the place smelling unpleasant.

Before long, Ardiaz had returned with a black sedan, which he had taken from one of his bodyguards still waiting for him there.

Mac Duff quickly put Evangeline inside, and placed her in the back seat.

"I'll take the car, you drive him home" Mac Duff exclaimed, pointing a key at Ardiaz.

"You'd better drive him" said Ardiaz, who was about to open the door.

Mac Duff, who saw that, immediately held the door so that Ardiaz would not come out.

"You're her husband, so you're the one who needs to take over. I'll get Joy to help you take care of her. Ah... Also doctor" said Mac Duff.

The man turned around and rushed to find Evangeline's car. While Ardiaz, the man would not want to bring the wife home.

But from a distance, there was someone who had witnessed the actions of the two men. Despite not hearing clearly all the conversations, but from the gestures and also how they both behave, it is very clear that the girl is someone important.

A strange grin appeared when the two had already left the place.

"Well, it looks like I have to find out who that girl is" he said.

The man then walked away from there, accompanied by a small oddity. However, the laughter did not last long, and it changed with a sharp gaze and a serious expression.
