CHAPTER 2: The escape plan

Mac Duff opened the door slightly and saw a guard standing right before his face.

He then thrust his knife into the guard's waist, and made a wide incision, until he fell down instantly.

It made the friend in front of him approach, and was immediately pulled into the room as soon as he got to the front door.

Inside, Mac Duff killed the guard with his knife, but the guard yelled and shocked the outsiders, then ran towards the sound of screaming coming from him.

Mac Duff used it to run out and distract everyone.

While inside, no one was seen anymore, and it made the guards report it to Martin and Morgan.

They don't see that Evangeline and Ardiaz, actually, are still hiding behind a dark door, and are quietly coming out while everyone is busy chasing Mac duff.

He looked for the nearest window or exit, and immediately brought the wife to help.

Evangeline was getting weaker and her pants were getting wet with blood that out of nowhere came from.

Cold sweat continued to come out, along with his forehead that always frowned due to pain.

“Hold, Eva,” says Ardiaz.

He carried his wife on his back, and ran as fast as he could before they realized his whereabouts.

Meanwhile, where Mac Duff is, he's been chased by a lot of people and can't even run anymore, because even in front of him he had been blocked by troops who were guarding in that direction.

He stopped and prepared to fight against that many people. It was nothing new for him to deal with such a large number of opponents, moreover they did not have firearms. This was common when he was still in the Joker castle.

They advanced simultaneously, against one person. In order to distract the opponent, Mac Duff turned around and served everyone.

His punches and hard kicks managed to topple one by one Martin's troops, although it is undeniable that he was hit all over his body.

But he kept trying to survive, at least until Ardiaz and Evangeline managed to sneak out of the wooden warehouse.

However, in the midst of the battle, some troops were seen retreating, and Mac duff lost concentration.

A Martin's men saw the crack and hit the nape of the Mac duff, until he staggered and fell to the ground.

Everyone came forward and beat Mac Duff in a crowd. At that moment, he heard a sneer that their boss asked the troops to head to the other side, because the female captive had fled in that direction.

This also makes Mac Duff worried about the fate of Ardiaz and Evangeline. He then tried to fight back and immediately followed there, but his position was very unfavorable now.

In a precarious state, he remembered the knife that had been hidden behind his jacket. Mac Duff took the sharp object and began slashing the enemy's legs until they all fell.

Seeing that no one was there anymore, Mac Duff immediately ran in the opposite direction, where Ardiaz and Evangeline were.

Elsewhere, precisely on the road to the southern forest, a car driven by Malcolm was driving slowly while looking around.

It was as if he was looking for something along the street.

“Where's dad's car? Why did it get lost at the crossroads there? I'm sure they must have gone here. There is no other way but to follow the path to this forest as the woman said,” murmured.

Apparently, he lost track of Morgan as he followed the middle-aged man from his office.

FLASHBACKS...

Malcolm realizes something strange about his father's movements, and decides to follow where the man is going with his personal assistant.

But while on the road, Morgan's car drove in a zigzag, as if he was outwitting Malcolm who continued to follow him.

Until arriving at the last crossroad before entering the southern mountain lane, Morgan's car suddenly drove quickly before the lights turned red.

As Malcolm was about to catch up, a double container car drove in front of him, leaving Mac duff unable to follow his father's car.

When the lights turned red and the container car disappeared, he no longer saw the presence of Morgan's car on the street.

He re-applied his car and headed south, based on the last clue he got.

However, he had been driving since, and no clues had been found yet.

When he reached Joker Castle, Malcolm thought his father might be there. The doctor even tried to get in and make a fuss at the place.

The Joker, who sees a familiar man, comes out and meets Malcolm.

“Do you need what Young Master Andara is here?” tanyakanya.

Malcolm wasn't surprised at all to hear the Joker say his name. From the tattoos that the Joker has, it is certain that he is one of Lucifer's men.

“Where is my father?” tanyakanya.

The Joker looks squinting at his eyes and frowns.

“Are you looking for Mr Andara? He's not here. Looks like you got the wrong place,” said Joker.

However, Malcolm did not just believe in the big-bodied King.

He even walked back and approached the Joker.

“I know you guys teamed up with my dad while massacring the Danurendra family. But now, I will never let you do anything to Ardiaz and Eva,”.

The Joker immediately turned his head and looked straight into Malcolm's black bead.

“What Alpha and Eva are in trouble now? Quickly say!” exclaim Joker.

Seeing the Joker's reaction, Malcolm becomes confused about the situation. Suddenly from the inside, a beautiful and sexy woman appeared wearing a black leather jacket and similar pants.

“Joker, I got word from Vermont that Alpha's wife was.. kap...” Alexa said.

Hearing this, the Joker was shocked and immediately turned to the beautiful woman, as well as Malcolm.

He now knew that they were not the culprit, but someone else who worked with his father.

Malcolm moved closer to Alexa and found her. He even pulled the collar of the woman's jacket before asking a question.

“Where... Where are they in the crib? I'm sure you know the information isn't it,”, Malcolm.

Alexa glanced at the Joker, and saw the big man nodding slowly.

“South forest. They kept the girl there,” Alexa said.

Malcolm immediately took off his grip from Alexa's jacket and turned to leave everyone behind.

“Young master, you'd better go with us. That place is foreign to you,” persuade the Joker.

However, Malcolm did not care and continued to leave from there.

“Joker, comein. There's something Devon wants to say to you,” Alexa said as she watched Malcolm leave.

They let the young doctor go, although he did not know where to go and where exactly Evangeline was being held.
