They again enjoyed the view of the city in the hospital rooftop garden, hand in hand, with Evangeline leaning her head against Ardiaz's shoulder.
After a while, Ardiaz asked his wife to come back in.
“Air getting colder. We'd better get back. Don't you want to get out of here soon,” said Ardiaz.
Evangeline just nodded.
The man then got up and prepared to push the wheelchair, but Evangeline suddenly asked to stop when passing a pot containing chrysanthemums of different colors.
“Beauty once,” says Evangeline.
As if knowing what the wife was thinking, Ardiaz approached the flowers, and picked a few stalks.
The man then tied him up into one with another stalk, and gave it to his wife.
“Wah... Since when have you been this sensitive?” ejek Evangeline's.
“I told you, no. From now on, get used to seeing the other side of me,” said Ardiaz.
He even took one more stalk, and pinned it in Evangeline's ear.
“Beauty,” compliment Ardiaz.
Instantly, Evangeline's cheeks glimmered at the words.
“Hopefully I don't have a heart attack, each time surprised by your change of attitude,” Evangeline said.
Ardiaz smiled and pushed back in his wife's wheelchair.
“I won't let anything bad happen to you again,”.
Evangeline just chuckled at how protective Ardiaz was now.
They then returned together to Evangeline's ward, which was one floor below the place.
As soon as they came from the roof garden, smiles continued to decorate the faces of the two.
Evangeline even got her first bouquet of flowers from her husband, who continued to be held and kissed, to make Ardiaz smile amusedly.
When he arrived in front of the elevator, Ardiaz again corrected the position of the wife's blanket that was slightly down, while waiting for the elevator to come.
Shortly after, the elevator doors opened and no one was there. The two entered, and pressed the floor button below.
When the door was about to close, suddenly someone held the door and entered in a hurry to get there.
Ardiaz was uncomfortable with the presence of the man in the elevator with him and his wife.
The person appears to be silently facing forward, until the door is completely closed.
Unexpectedly, the person turned around while thrusting the recording device towards Evangeline.
“Miss Hemachandra, were you really kidnapped by Mr Andara? What was the motive for the kidnapping?” ask the person who appears to be a journalist.
The man immediately removed the journalist from his doorstep and pushed his wife's wheelchair out.
On the floor, there were already many Luciferians on guard, so the journalist could no longer chase Ardiaz or Evangeline, because it was blocked by Mac duff's men.
But the journalist did not give up. Although he could not pursue the youngest son Danurendra and wife, he still asked various questions.
Until one question that made Evangeline's heart immediately shattered, ejected from the journalist's mouth.
“How is your condition after miscarriage? Was there really torture at the scene until you lost your baby?” ask the journalist.
Ardiaz could hear it clearly. He kept pushing Evangeline's wheelchair quickly so the journalist wouldn't bother his wife.
Once in the ward, Ardiaz immediately pushed Evangeline inside. While he came back out and told Mac Duff's men to keep watching, so that such an incident did not happen again.
After saying this, Ardiaz went back in and closed the door.
When he turned around, the man found the wife still sitting quietly in her chair. His sight was blankly staring forward.
Ardiaz could guess what happened to his wife.
He approached the woman and squatted in front of her. Evangeline's gaze was really nano.
“Eva,” call Ardiaz.
Evangeline moved her eyeballs and looked at the husband who had been in front.
“Ba... A baby? Ba... My baby?” said Evangeline.
Tears escaped immediately from the eye patch, making Ardiaz's heart hurt again.
He immediately got up and hugged his wife. Evangeline could no longer speak. The woman could only cry.
Her cries sounded so heartbreaking, making Ardiaz unable to resist the melt in her eyes. He continued to hold the wife crying over the child, which he did not even know was in his stomach.
But he didn't even know that the boy wasn't there.
Evangeline continued to cry in Ardiaz's arms for a long time, until she was exhausted and eventually fell asleep.
