CHAPTER 2: Switching roles

Days change. The next day, Evangeline, who decided to stay in her apartment, was shocked by a group of people who were already standing at the door of her unit.

Evangeline was about to go out and go to college, but the whereabouts of those people upset her.

He knew who they were from the emblem that was in their suit pocket.

“Since when are you here?” tanyakanya.

“Sorry, Miss. The big lord asked us to look after you,” replied one of the bodyguards.

“I already know. Did you bod*h until you couldn't answer the question correctly, huh?” harden Evangeline.

The girl then closed the door, and walked away. However, his steps came to a halt and snorted in annoyance. He looked over and saw some of them also walking in the back.

“Don't follow me! This is not Wisteria. Here you must think, not my father,” exclaimed Evangeline annoyed.

The girl then turned back.

“We can't encourage Miss to do something desperate. You go follow Miss secretly. Let him not know that he is being followed. Just make sure Miss is safe,” exclaimed one of the bodyguards who is the chairman.

Finally, only one bodyguard followed Evangeline to her campus, without showing himself at all in front of the girl.

During the day when his lecture schedule was over, Evangeline who was walking to the parking lot, got an incoming call.

“Halo, is this Mike or Ardiaz?” ask Evangeline directly.

“It's me, Mike,” voice out across.

“Oh... You apparently. What was? Where's Ardiaz?” ask Evangeline.

“He's still in the hospital. I'm being asked to take you there now,” said Mac duff.

“Really? Is that all right? What about those guards?” ask Evangeline streak.

“You want or don't meet your husband?” ask Mac duff ketus.

“Sure I want. But is it really okay? I don't want to make you guys any more difficult,” says Evangeline.

“Therefore follow my plan,” exciting Mac duff.

Evangeline continues to walk towards the car park while listening to the plan said by Mac Duff.

After he finished telling her what the plan was, Evangeline called Joy and asked to meet at a shopping mall.

“Are you there?” evangeline asked on the phone, shortly after her car stopped.

“I'm already where you said I was. But, why are you asking me to meet in a place like this? And what is this thing for?” ask Joy back.

“I'll tell you later. Wait out. I was walking there,” Evangeline said.

Ardiaz's wife then walked quickly into the mall, and headed to the fourth floor where there is a famous clothing store and cosmetic store.

He asks Joy to wait for him at one of the clothing stores with the brand she used to buy, and makes a VIP room reservation at the store.

As the only daughter of a Hemachandra, Evangeline knew very well that her father would not be able to let go of surveillance, when he was getting serious.

He was sure that even though there were no bodyguards in sight, but there must have been someone secretly following him.

Therefore, Evangeline tries to outwit them with Joy's help, so she can meet Ardiaz without being noticed by her father's people.

It is not yet time for Ardiaz to emerge, having previously been reported dead.

Evangeline didn't want that to happen, so she thought of it this way.

After arriving at the clothing store, he immediately walked into the VIP waiting room. Joy was there waiting for him.

“Did you bring what I asked for?” evangeline asked shortly after entering the room.

Joy held out a large paper bag towards Evangeline. The girl then grabbed it and looked at the contents.

There are two types of false hair, with different lengths.

“Actually why did you ask me to come here with those things?” joy asked confusedly.

Evangeline did not answer. He instead requested the service to bring their latest spring collection.

Shortly thereafter, several waiters re-entered with their latest collection.

“Select what you like,” exclaims Evangeline.

Joy heard the words of her best friend.

“Are you in a bad mood? Why suddenly....,” asked Joy confused.

“Select it. Don't have to ask a lot,” by Evangeline.

Ardiaz's wife chose him first, followed by Joy.

“Good. Then I won't hesitate,” said Joy.

Both of them choose clothes according to their taste. After deciding, Evangeline paid him at once.

Suddenly, the girl changed her paper bag.

“Why did you change it?” ask Joy.

“Use mine, and I'll wear yours. One more thing, you wear this wig too,” exclaimed Evangeline, while giving a wig with the same color and length as her hair.

Joy immediately knew the meaning of Evangeline's attitude.

“Are you being followed? Are we going to do like that time again?” ask Joy.

In the past, while still in high school, Joy had swapped roles with Evangeline, in order for Evangeline to go to the beach to catch up with Aaron, who at that time was reviewing something.

He was forced to go secretly, because his father forbade him to go to the place.

This time, the girl also wanted to ask Joy to do it again in order to meet the husband.

“Good if you already know. Now hurry. Mike's waiting for me,” says Evangeline.

Without asking again, Joy also took clothes and also fake hair from Evangeline. He went into the dressing room and so did Evangeline.
