CHAPTER 2: Sabotage

Jordan felt that everyone had been*dohi, because he was the only one who did not know the true events that befell his father.

“All that's big boss orders. He wants to protect you from an unseen enemy, who is already eyeing his life.”

“For many years, Emperor volunteered to be hated by you, because you had already assumed that the big boss died in his hands,” replied the Joker.

Jordan doesn't understand what's really going on. He's really confused. If the medical record is correct, then the father's face should look thinner than he remembers.

“Say... Say everything... QUICKLY SAY!” jordan exclaims emotions.

He tried to hold on to the edge of the table so as not to fall, because his knees felt so limp.

The Joker, who saw this, tried to help him but was immediately pushed aside and Jordan chose to turn around and head towards the guest chair.

The man sat there while continuing to pay attention to the files and documents of the father's legacy.

Seeing that his brother was sitting down, Devonshire began to open his voice.

“It all started after the Joker successfully carried out a mission in Wisteria City ten years ago. I'm sure you can guess what mission it is,” Devonshire said.

Jordan was immediately reminded of the case of the Danurendra family massacre, or precisely the Ardiaz family.

He recalls that the reason for bringing Ardiaz to the City of Orchid was the auction of the fugitive Joker, who was believed to be the perpetrator of the massacre.

“That mission is the beginning of disaster for our family. Morgan is a man more terrible than you think."

Devonshire relates that after the massacre, Morgan tried to eliminate all evidence that led to him, by borrowing hands from other groups who came from outside the area.

Since long ago, because Devonshire was the first boy, so his name is often heard compared to the younger brother. Moreover, his sister is not too interested in things smelling business and is more pleased with the sophistication of technology.

That's what made the previous Emperor so fond of Jordan, because he felt his youngest son could develop technology that could benefit his group.

However, it made Devonshire jealous and thought that the father was favoritism, so he decided to leave the house a few days before the accident occurred.

So that Jordan's father left, accompanied by the Joker who was then a shadow of the Emperor, just like the role of Vermont.

However, in the middle of the road there was an attack. The Emperor's escort car is apparently entered by an intruder, and makes the Joker who was in the same car as Emperor, trying to escape from the siege.

Well, the car turned out to have been sabotaged and made an accident happen. Emperor's car plunged into the ravine, and all of his passengers were seriously injured.

The Emperor suffered severe internal injuries, while the Joker, his body filled with blood coming out of his head, arms and legs injured by the impact.

The big man saw that Emperor was still alive, and immediately looked for a way to get out of the car.

He felt the danger had not passed, as his kiss felt a pungent smell emanating from the fuel of the car.

And it turns out to be true, the car's tank is leaking and it could cause an explosion if sparks hit it.

With the rest of his consciousness and strength, Jordan managed to break the windshield of the car, and painstakingly took out the Emperor from inside.

When the two got out, the car was already half burned. Sure enough, just a few meters away they were walking, an explosion sounded and made the two collapse.

The Emperor looked in pain. The Joker tried to find wood and make a stretcher that he could pull, to bring the Emperor out of the bottom of the ravine.
