“Your time is up. Miss Pretty, it's time you made a decision,” Martin said.
Morgan and the King interrogator walked up to the three captives. Ardiaz who saw the enemy approaching, retreated and confronted his wife who was still in pain.
“Do not approach, or I break your hands and feet,” threatened Ardiaz.
Hearing that, Morgan just broke down and ended up spitting to the side.
“You're really shameless. Don't you see that you're losing now? There's no way out for you to leave alive from here, unless the woman agrees to my orders,” Morgan said.
Ardiaz looked around. There was no way for him anymore. It's all closed. He looked back, seeing the condition of the wife who looked increasingly weak.
“It seems your wife is not doing well. You better persuade him to agree with me, and he can get out of here soon,” Morgan exclaimed.
“No... I don't want to... I can't keep your word. That's crazy...,” said Evangeline suddenly.
His voice sounded weak and weak. Ardiaz felt guilty that he could not immediately take her away to seek help.
He approached and hugged his wife from the side, feeling how cold her body was.
“Eva, you're not okay. Can you still survive? What...what better you...,” he said in despair.
He could not bear to see Evangeline continue to endure the pain and lose more blood than this.
However, the woman grabbed the husband's hand and held it.
“I... will die... by staying... being...your wife...,” Evangeline said.
Ardiaz. He could not hold a puddle in his eye saw his wife die before his eyes.
Mac Duff can't do anything. His hands and feet were smothered by Martin's men.
Hearing Evangeline's umpteenth refusal, Morgan was upset. He grabs the gun from Martin's hand, and points it at the couple.
“Alright if it's your decision, then I'll end it all here,” Morgan said.
“STOP!” screeched someone.
Everyone looked towards the voice. Morgan was shocked to see who was already standing in front of the warehouse door.
“Malcolm,” said softly.
Apparently, the doctor managed to find the whereabouts of the wooden warehouse.
“Stop all this. Stop sinning, Father. I beg you,” pinta Malcolm.
Ardiaz and Evangeline look at each other to see the young doctor coming to the place, as well as Mac Duff who has since looked straight at Malcolm.
Andara's only son came closer, and stood in front of Ardiaz and Evangeline.
“Let them go, Dad. I beg you,” the door again.
He looked back, where Ardiaz was still hugging his increasingly frail wife.
Malcolm turned his back when he realized Evangeline's condition. He could not even figure out why there was so much blood coming out from the bottom of the woman.
Don't-don't.., he explained.
He looked at Ardiaz who was still faithful beside his wife, then looked back to the front, facing the father who seemed to be getting angry with his presence.
“I'll take them out. Whether you agree or not,” said Malcolm.
“Do you think dad would easily take them off, just because you asked?” tease Morgan.
Seeing the father who was like he would not falter, Malcolm took something from behind his suit.
Morgan broke into seeing a gun come out of there and was deliberately pointed at Malcolm's own temple.
“I'll be their sandra. If you don't want to let go of the three of them, then I'll shoot myself in the head with this thing,” Malcolm threatened.
However, Malcolm did not care about his father's persuasion.
“Delta, take over this gun. Then you're Alpha, carry your wife and walk in front,” Malcolm exclaimed.
Mac duff and Ardiaz looked at each other and nodded. The Duke broke away from Martin's army which had loosened its distance from him at the King's behest. While Ardiaz, he instantly lifted Evangeline's body and walked in front.
Walking backwards, Mac duff and Malcolm got out of there.
“How is it, Boss?” ask Martin.
“Wait for them to let their guard down. We catch my son and shoot all three of them,” exclaimed Morgan.
Martin understands. He ordered all his men inside the warehouse to get out of the way, while the shooters outside were asked to stand guard and prepare to take aim.
When the four men reached Malcolm's car parked in front of the barn, the doctor noticed a red light that led to Ardiaz's back.
Suddenly something happened. Mac duff groaned in pain after something hit his back.
Malcolm only realized that outside there were already many snipers waiting for them to let their guard down.
Not long after, Ardiaz also fell because his leg was hit by a shot from Martin's men.
Seeing his comrades fall, Malcolm's alert. She also saw Evangeline who could no longer wake up and just resignedly lying on her husband's lap.
Malcolm grew increasingly panicked when the red dots returned and gathered so much, leading to one of his friend's most vital body parts.
Suddenly, the sound of consecutive gunshots rang out from within the forest, making everyone shocked and turned their heads in that direction.
“Alpha, Delta, quick to hide!” a heavy voice they were very familiar with.
Ardiaz seemed to smile with relief at the sound.
“See... They're coming, aren't they?” he told Mac duff.
Both of them smiled and tried to get up in the middle of the battle.
Seen from a distance, a beam of car lights can be seen speeding towards them. A bulletproof-coated vehicle stopped right in front of them.
“Quick login!” exclaimed a young man who was none other than Damian.
The four men immediately got into the car that Damian was carrying and left from there.
“Who has come?” ask Mac duff.
“All people,” says someone sitting in front with Damian.
Mac Duff squinted his eyes trying to see the person. From his stature, he seemed to know the figure, but he was not sure of his guess.
Surprisingly, the figure looked back, and bathed everyone who had just been saved.
Ardiaz and Mac Duff were not so surprised, but not Malcolm.
“You...,” call him.
“Yes, it's me, Charlie. Long time no see, Beta,” greet Jordan aka Charlie, Devonshire's younger brother, the real King.
