CHAPTER 2: Reassemble

Cars drove out of their vast yards, heading for the highway.

Evangeline was seen sitting in her arms, while Ardiaz continued to smile while gently rubbing Evangeline's reddish mane, and occasionally peeking at the top of her head.

Some time they drove, until he came to a place so wide.

There are green scenery on the left and right, as well as the position of the land made hilly.

Ardiaz reached out to his wife, and the two got out of the car together.

They looked at each other and began to walk to the place. As he stepped in, many tombstones were seen filling the area.

Apparently, a couple was about to visit someone's grave.

They walked quite far, until they almost reached the top of the highest hill.

Ardiaz gently led his wife to follow his footsteps, and the two of them arrived in front of him.

It says the same name as Ardiaz. Both are seen bowing, saluting and greeting the two tombs.

“Dad... I'm sorry that I've been an unfilial child. I just had time to visit you again,” said Ardiaz started.

Evangeline turned her head and saw a sad look from the eyes of the husband.

He then embraced Ardiaz's arm, and made the man come to his senses from his mind.

“Ah... I forget. Introduce, this is your son-in-law. Name's Evangeline. She is the daughter of Mr. Hemachandra. You know him, don't you?” ardiaz.

“Halo, Dad... Mother. I'm your son-in-law. Sorry for saying hello. I need to find your lost son first and bring him home. Please forgive me,” Evangeline said.

“I'm sorry, Dad. He likes to act like it. But, she really is a good woman. He loves me and accepts your son for who he is,” said Ardiaz.

Evangeline suddenly removed her embrace from her husband, and crouched down in front of the tomb.

She placed the flower arrangement she had picked from home, in front of Ardiaz's mother's tombstone.

“Dad... Mother...have you met your grandchildren? I'm sorry I couldn't take good care of him. I hope you're all always there together and happy. I leave our dear son to Father and Mother,” said Evangeline.

The woman looks down. Ardiaz crouched down and grabbed his wife's shoulder. Evangeline was crying in her husband's arms, remembering a fetus that had disappeared from her pregnancy, even before anyone realized its existence.

The two were there long enough, until Evangeline was a little calmer, then Ardiaz invited her to leave the place immediately.

Ever since they performed the funeral service for their son in the new home he currently occupies, Evangeline promised to take care of and care for all the flowers that grow there, just as she takes care of her own child.

Every time he went to visit his father-in-law's grave, or visit his father's house, he would pick some flowers and bring them there.

Back flashback

The two brothers also let go of each other, followed by thousands of questions from Aaron to the sister.

But suddenly, Evangeline kept staring at Morita, the foster mother. His gaze seemed unwilling to escape from the tiny figure in the woman's sling.

Morita, who initially wanted to greet Evangeline, was frightened by Ardiaz's wife's strange look.

Evangeline then woke up, and walked over to Morita who actually stepped back.

Seeing the strangeness of the wife, Ardiaz then approached the woman, as well as Aaron who approached his lover.

Suddenly, Evangeline reached out her hand, as if to grab the baby that Morita was carrying.

Ardiaz seemed to know what his wife wanted to do.

“Darling, do you want to see my sister's baby?” asked Ardiaz gently beside Evangeline.

The woman just nodded slowly while continuing to look at the tiny figure.

Ardiaz turned his head towards the older brother, as if asking permission without saying a word. Aaron understands, and persuades his lover to allow Evangeline to hold their little daughter.

Morita was initially hesitant and worried. However, seeing Evangeline's heart-changing gaze, she finally agreed.

Morita came forward with Aaron, and slowly gave the baby to Evangeline.

Ardiaz's wife immediately grabbed the tiny baby, and held it tightly in her arms.

Tears instantly flowed from Evangeline's eyes without her being able to bear. He really misses a child who is not even tangible at all, who has to go for good.

Looking at the wife like this, Ardiaz could only try hard, gently rubbing Evangeline's shoulders.

Everyone seemed to be feeling the sadness that the woman was experiencing.
