CHAPTER 2: Tied

Martin pointed the rifle in front of Ardiaz's face, and prepared to pull the trigger to hole the fake King's cranium.

However, Ardiaz seemed to be silently unmoved and looked so calm. However, the calm seemed scary because the eyes of Evangeline's husband were cold to make anyone who saw to grim.

“Are you ready to accept Devon's wrath? Whether alive or dead, if I disappear he will definitely go crazy,” Ardiaz said expressionlessly.

Hearing these words, Martin immediately stopped the movement of his finger that was about to pull the lever of the rifle.

The injured Ardiaz is dragged inside, while Mac Duff is pushed to walk to where Ardiaz is being carried.

After entering, the two men first tied their hands together with strong ropes, and then brought into a dark room.

At first, they do not realize something, but after their eyes focus, then both realize that there is someone who is also bound in the room.

He even got up in revolt after seeing his wife's miserable condition, unconscious and tied to a chair in the dark, stuffy room.

However, his movements stopped when Martin's men hit him on the leg and made him fall to his knees, especially because his hands were also tied, making Ardiaz difficult to fight.

However, all his resistance was in vain this time. Martin's men don't care about his yelling and his mockery.

Ardiaz and Mac Duff were tied in a standing position and slightly tiptoed feet, and hands were raised up and tied in a chain hanging from the ceiling of the barn.

His position was opposite Evangeline, and was only a few steps away. However, he could not reach his wife who did not know how long had been there.

After tying Ardiaz and Mac duff, Martin's men came out and locked the door from the outside leaving the three bound men.

Ardiaz seems worried about Evangeline's condition. Because after all, the woman's physique was extremely weak. Contrary to his strong determination.
