CHAPTER 2: Storytelling

That afternoon, Ardiaz decided to reveal everything to his wife, what had happened to her since her departure from Wisteria.

From the start he had to infiltrate Lucifer's auction, until he finally got a defeat while in the arsenal.

“I thought it was over by then, but that's where it all started,” Ardiaz said.

He looked towards his wife. Evangeline continued to stare at him without moving a bit. The girl had really been waiting for this moment, where the husband revealed everything.

Ardiaz smiled faintly, and then sighed before finally continuing his story.

“For so long I only knew you were someone who was annoying, cold and stiff. I don't know the reason behind all that. I'm sorry,” said Evangeline.

Her tears continued to spill on her face, making her sobs more and more clear.

“Basic girl crybaby. You know you're going to be like this, I'm not going to tell you,” Ardiaz said.

“No. You wrong. Precisely in this way I can pay more attention to you in front of him. I can stand by your side better, because I already know what your situation is. Aren't we husband and wife?” evangeline.

The words of Evangeline who acknowledged their relationship, once again warmed Ardiaz's heart. A faint smile appeared on the fake King's lips.
