CHAPTER 2: The patient is dying
After walking a long way into a scarred body, carrying a near-unconscious victim, the Joker finally arrives in a small town on the trail, and soon searches for a clinic.
It was dark, and the clinic was closed. However, he continued to try banging on the door for the owner to come out.
After the doctor guard there came out, he saw the person on the stretcher as if he was dying. He was reluctant to help because it would be dangerous if the korba died in his place.
Joker even had to put a gun in front of the doctor at the clinic, so he would treat the boss.
Finally, at gunpoint, the doctor will inevitably provide first aid for the Emperor.
“I can only give him an injection to relieve the pain, and try to sew up his external wounds. This person may have internal bleeding. You better call for help from the nearest hospital immediately, so that he can survive,” exclaimed the doctor.
“Do it as well as you can. If he dies, you too will die with him,” threatened the Joker.
He did so in order for the Emperor to survive until help from Lucifer came.
Knowing the patient he received was a dangerous person, the doctor was only able to resign and try his best to make the patient survive.
A few hours later, troops from the main headquarters arrived and immediately evacuated the Emperor, then took him to the nearest hospital.
He also made sure that the existence of the Emperor in that place was unknown to outsiders, be it their King though.
He then asked his men to search for Devonshire's whereabouts. Until the operation is completed, the Emperor, who has just come to his senses, orders the Joker to immediately bring his eldest son to meet him.
Joker was immediately doing the task, although the condition of the body is still not recovered properly.
He got the news that the Emperor's son was currently with the children who had always been around.
They are none other than Vermont, Alexa, Martin, Marco and also some young people who train under the Joker army.
The Emperor's right-hand man then reported about the events his father had experienced to Devonshire.
At the hospital, his father's face was pale and weak. The strong and dominant figure he had known all along, seemed to disappear in an instant from the middle-aged man.
“Lead Lucifer and take care of your sister. Kill all the traitors who have dared to mess with us,” exclaimed the father.
“I don't want to. Don't you like Jordan better than me? Ask him to become the new Emperor,” Devonshire refuses.
“Devon, you are no longer a child. Do you feel worthy to envy your little brother, hem? I love him because he needs it more than you."
"The boy is really poor. She never felt the affection of a mother, not even ASI she never knew what it was like. I always thought of you as the father's successor to lead our group, and protect your genius sister."
"Work together. I am sure, one day he will be useful to you with all his talent in the field of technology,” said the father at length.

“What's in it for me?” ask Devonshire.
