CHAPTER 2: Operation is complete

It has been seven hours since Ardiaz entered the operating room, and until now there has been no sign the operation will end soon.

Mac Duff, who was waiting outside the operating room door, continued to see nurses who were back and forth picking up blood bags and various other tools, making the intensity of the panic increase.

Meanwhile, a ringing call from an unknown number re-enters his phone, leaving Mac duff even more upset.

Because she knew who the number belonged to, and Mac duff was reluctant to pick it up at this time, because there was no answer she could give to the girl who was waiting for news about her husband.

Seconds change minutes, and minutes change hours. For so long everyone waited anxiously, not least Evangeline who continued to cry because she was worried about Ardiaz's condition that even she did not know what it was like.

In the afternoon, at exactly three o'clock fifteen minutes, the operating room lights out. Shortly after, the medical team got out of there.

Mac Duff who saw it immediately approached everyone and asked the results of his partner's operation.

“Doctor, as the condition?” tanyanya direct.

The chief doctor turned to look at Mac Duff. He let out a long sigh before finally notifying the patient's final condition.

“Operation went well. Only, he was still in a critical condition after the amount of blood coming out of his body. We just pray that he wakes up quickly,” explained the doctor.

Shortly after, Devonshire and the Lucifers also came out of the monitoring room and talked to the doctor.

They walked together toward a place, to listen to the explanation of the doctor about the results of Ardiaz surgery.

Mac Duff, who was still in place, saw the nurse push the patient's bed from inside the operating room, where Ardiaz was lying inside.

He also saw his colleague who was still lying with his eyes tightly closed, with many hoses attached to his body.

His eyes felt hot, until a clear layer appeared there. However, he hurriedly wiped it off before falling down and walked with the nurse towards the recovery room.

The doctor placed Ardiaz in a sterile room especially VVIP, with the best facilities and strict care.

It was, of course, at the behest of the Emperor, Devonshire.

Doctors limit the number of people who can go inside. Only two people and must wear sterile clothing.

Devonshire and the Joker go in first. Not sure what the two said, Mac Duff could only see from behind the thick glass separating the outside and inside of the room.

Before long, the two grown men came out. Devonshire still seems to be angry with Mac duff, although both the Joker and Alexa have explained the incident to the Emperor.

“I leave the guard here to you, Papa bear. Make sure your men don't make any more mistakes,” Devonshire said.

“Good, Young master,” Joker said.

Devonshire then left from there followed by Vermont and the others. Alexa looked at Mac Duff in silence, but the man reluctantly turned his head and continued to bow.

Alexa turned around and went from there to Devonshire.

Mac Duff stood back up straight as everyone was gone. He even turned his head and looked at the back of Alexa who had walked away.

The Joker patted Mac duff on the shoulder and squeezed it a little.

“Stay here. Don't forget to treat your wounds too,” exclaimed Joker.

He left from there, following the Emperor.

Now, Mac Duff lives with his subordinates who are in charge of guarding Ardiaz's recovery room.

Mac Duff felt a tremor from his pocket, where his phone he had changed to vibrate mode.

The man grabbed the flat object and saw a foreign number that had contacted him many times.

This time, he shifted the green button to the right and attached it in front of the ears.

The girl was beyond her patience. The worry made his attitude so rude.

Mac duff let out a long sigh first before telling the truth about the fellow.

“Is Joy with you?” ask Mac duff.

“What are you asking? He's been here since. Oh... Come onl. Please don't beat around the bush. Tell me where he is, please,” his request is desperate.

“Use a loudspeaker so he can hear it,” said Mac duff.

Evangeline immediately obeyed the sky night boss's orders.

“Already. Now, quickly tell me, where is Ardiaz,” exclaimed Evangeline.

“She has just been operated on for over twelve hours, and is currently in critical condition,” Mac duff said.

“Ya, lord.” Evangeline cupped her mouth tightly, with tears plunging back free into her cheeks.

His chest was tight to hear the condition of the husband as stated by Mac duff.

“Operation went well. But the doctor said, since a lot of blood is coming out, there's a chance he won't be able to wake up again. Unless God really exists and works wonders on him,” Mac Duff continued.

Instantly, Evangeline's cries broke. He could not bear the painful news.

Mac Duff did not want to make the girl sad, but the right to know the condition of her husband at this time.

Joy who listened couldn't help but cry. He seemed to feel how hurt Evangeline's heart, when he knew the condition of the husband he had been trying to find all this time.

But just met, they actually get a disaster like this.

“I want to see him. Where is he now. I beg of you, I want to see it,” pinta Evangeline.
