ACT 2: Dinner

The next day, Evangeline appears to have just returned from the hospital after seeing her husband, and is now preparing in her apartment to leave with Malcolm as promised yesterday.

The doctor invited Evangeline to dinner together and wanted to introduce the girl to someone.

Evangeline is finishing her performance. She looks beautiful in a comfortable cotton monochrome dress.

The top is black with a tassel accent on one of the shoulders. Belt ties from large ribbons, making the impression of lean and tall on the wearing.

The continuous skirt below the knee is predominantly white with a black floral accent, and is coated in a matching colored tile fabric, making it look elegant but still appropriate for its age.

His hair he let loose with a little made wavy. Natural make up adorn the pretty face of the girl.

Shortly after, the front door bell rang. Evangeline moved out of her place and saw who was coming.

From the intercom screen, the girl could see a man in such neat clothes, smiling towards the camera, making the curved carvings on Evangeline's lips expand.

He pressed the unlock button and opened the door. Instantly, a bouquet of fresh flowers instantly appeared right in front of his face.

“Wah... Is this for me?” ask Evangeline.

The man simply smiled and handed the flower to Evangeline. The girl accepted it with pleasure, and smelled the fragrance that burst out from the flowers.

“Since when did a stiff doctor like you get this sweet?” evangeline told a man who was none other than Malcolm.

The young doctor only smiled in response to Evangeline's words

“Are you ready?” ask the man.

“Ehm... You go in first. I'll get my bag,” take Evangeline.

Malcolm nodded and went inside. He sat on the living room sofa, while Evangeline headed for the kitchen.

The girl took a vase, and filled it with water. He opened a bouquet of flowers given by Malcolm, and put a flower stem into a vase filled with water to keep it fresh.

“Do you want to drink something?” bargain Evangeline.

“No need. We'd better get going. Maybe the guy's waiting,” Malcolm said.

“Ah, so? All right, wait a minute,” exclaimed Evangeline.

The girl ran to her room upstairs and rushed to put her phone and wallet in her handbag. He did not forget to spray perfume on his body before leaving.

He then went back downstairs and approached Malcolm.

“Come go now,” invite Evangeline.

Malcolm smiled when he saw the girl was ready. The two went together to the place Malcolm had prepared.

While in the basement of the apartment, Malcolm always tried to open the car door for Evangeline, but Ardiaz's wife always opened the door for herself first, it was as if he did not want to be treated special by the doctor.

That thing, continued to make a smile on Malcolm's face suddenly disappeared, but he again reviewed the thin arch to cover his disappointment.

The two have now been sitting in the car with Malcolm at the helm. The iron horse sped away from the parking lot and headed towards the highway.

“Actually, who do you want to introduce me to, hem? I'm very curious. Is it possible that she really is a girl?” ask Evangeline suddenly.

Malcolm turned his head with a frown, with the corner of his lips raised upwards.

Both are chuckling.

“I'm sorry. I suddenly thought strangely and even amused myself so. Hehehe...,” said Evangeline chuckled.

Evangeline even forgot what she was currently facing, and the condition of the husband who was still in a coma.

It doesn't look right he's like this. While the husband was lying in a hospital bed between life and death, he left with someone else.

About thirty minutes drive, now the car turns to a place where there is a luxury restaurant famous for its pasta and beef steak.

“I was really curious who the special person I would meet inside,” Evangeline said with a squint of her eyes at Malcolm.

The man smiled and again pinched Evangeline's anxious cheek.

“Later you'll know,” said Malcolm

The man took off his seat belt and got out of the car. As usual, Evangeline opened the door first, and it made Malcolm sigh long nafa many times.

Evangeline unhappily stepped over to Malcolm with her sweet smile.

“We're in now?” ask the girl.

Malcolm nodded and guided Evangeline to walk first.

They enter the restaurant that looks so luxurious, seen from the interior displayed along the hallway.

A ministry that welcomed them, led the two men to a pre-ordered place by Malcolm.

“Please,” exclaim the service, as they arrive in front of a special VIP private room.

“Come in,” timpal Malcolm.

Evangeline without hesitation stepped inside. He was a little surprised by the presence of a middle-aged man inside, until his steps stopped and made Malcolm also stand in the middle of the door.

“Ah... You guys have come apparently,” greet the people who are inside.

Malcolm shoved Evangeline's back slightly, making the girl turn towards the doctor.

The man smiled towards Ardiaz's wife and advanced forward. Politely, he bowed towards the middle-aged man in front of them.

“We've arrived, Dad,” greet Malcolm.

Hearing this, Evangeline turned to the side where Malcolm was. He kept looking at the man who had always been smiling.

Malcolm turned back to Evangeline. He knew that at this time the girl must have been very surprised, because suddenly he invited her to meet his father.

“Let's sit down,” take her.

Evangeline looks unhappy about this. It was as if there was an unease that made the girl suddenly lose her smile and cold-faced as she looked at Malcolm.

Even so, he couldn't have just run away from Malcolm, not knowing what his real goal was. What else in front of his own father.

Evangeline would not want to follow the game Malcolm and sit together with the man's father, who is none other than the CEO of Andara Corporation, Morgan Andara.
