Eps. 83

After being satisfied to go around some tours in the city of Jogja, I finally decided to go home. Because the day is also dark, and tomorrow Mr. Rohman also works. I just don't want him to get tired and sleepy, so so don't focus on work.

I have brought by for Mas Rohman's family and also some clothes for my family that I will bring later if I go home to Salatiga. The car has been traveling at speed towards the city of Semarang. I see the watch is still at half-seven.

Hopefully the trip is smooth and until the house is not too late. From jogja to Semarang it takes about three hours more if not jammed. I was busy watching Korean dramas from my phone. Because I wasn't too sleepy, so I chose to be busy with the movie.

Because I watched a movie too long, both my eyes felt spicy. And that sleepiness comes with arriving. I put my phone in the bag. Then I leaned back and these eyes closed by themselves.

**********

I felt someone stroking my cheek and stroking my hair. I woke up from sleep. I found Rohman smiling at me. It turned out that Mas Rohman woke me up in such a way that I would not be surprised.

"Mas, is it here?"

"Already, darling. Sorry to wake you from sleep."

"Not what, Mom. I'm sorry I wasn't strong enough to sleep all the way. Until you don't nemenin."

"Not what, baby. If you sleep, do not need to be forced. Later you even get sick, dizzy."

"Yes, Mum."

Rohman got out of the car and opened the door and I got out of the car. A queen is treated like this.

Rohman told me to come in first. Because it was late too. While Mas Rohman is busy with removing goods in the trunk of the car. I wanted to help her, but it wasn't allowed.

"Darling, you go in first. Let Mas bring his stuff into the house."

"The airport is many, Mas. Let me help you."

"Darling, if you say don't ngeyel. Why why are you later."

"Yes, yes. I'm going in first, Mas. You take heart if you need help, just call me."

"Yes, honey. You better take a break."

"Yes, Mas. I'm ahead."

I rushed in and threw myself in the guest chair. While waiting for Mas Rohman, I played the phone. Recalling the message from Mas Rendy, I intend to contact her. Because yesterday Mas Rohman gave me permission to visit Ms. Rita who is sick.

When I opened whatsap application, it turns out there was already an incoming message from Mas Rendy. I hurried to open it while looking back, afraid that Mas Rohman knew I was chatting with Mas Rendy. After I made sure it was safe, I immediately read a message from Mas Rendy.

[Lis, how? Do you have any intention of visiting my mother?]

[I don't mean what, Lis. My mom is really sick and wants to meet you.]

[I can't be sure when, this is I just got home from Jogja. I'm still tired, Mom.]

[Alright, I'll pick you up tomorrow.]

[But I haven't confirmed when I'm going there yet.]

After I wait wait wait, there is no more reply from Rendy. It's true that he likes to force me. Over time I became uncomfortable. But for what reason, it seems I can't forget him either. I want to forget it, but the more I forget the more I remember and the closer I want to get.

Maybe I'm in love with her again. No, this is highly unlikely. I'm Mas Rohman's wife. As long as I was with Mas Rohman, he was very kind to me. There is nothing that I think is very strange. He treated me like a queen.

Maybe I should have kept my distance from Mas Rendy. I was afraid that if I continued like this, my feelings would increase even more towards him. I need to focus on Rohman. He's just the past to me.

A pat on the shoulder ripped me from the daydream. It turned out that Rohman was already beside me. I was stammered too, afraid that if he saw me reply to a chat from Mas Rendy.

"Astagfirullah, Mommy. Um, since when was it here?"

"You're surprised, honey. I can see ghosts, until it's that."

"I.iya, Mas. But I don't think about me, anyway.

"She saw you daydreaming again. Calling no response. Yeah, I'll just pat her shoulder."

"I'm sorry, honey. You're so surprised."

"I.iya, Mas. It's nothing."

"Can you, look at your phone?"

"Make what, Mom?"

"Look, honey. Even if it can't be okay, it's okay."

"This, Mas. I can, I can."

I handed my phone to Mas Rohman. I don't know why he just wanted to borrow my phone. He never checked my phone at all. Is it possible because he saw my chat with Mas Rendy.

But I don't know for sure either. But let it go, anyway my chat with Mas Rendy who I had previously deleted. So there is no suspicious chat. I just chatted with my family and friends. Who else if not Rere and Andry.

Mr. Rohman started to open my chat and all of my media social accounts. I try to be normal and keep from worrying too much. Then she smiled at me and returned my phone.

"It's nothing, Mom."

"Part of the tumben once you pinjem my phone, even though you've never been like this before."

"Can't you, baby?"

"I'm just worried about you."

"You said you were worried, Mom?"

"Why are you worried, Mom?"

"That's it, baby. It's night, let's just rest. I put all the stuff in."

"Yes, come on. I'm still so sleepy, too, Mom."

I followed Mas Rohman into the room. I lay my body beside Rohman. The hand of Mas Rohman hugged my body. My eyes began to close on their own.

***********

The morning greeted me. I woke up from sleep because of the look of the eyes that entered through the glass gap. Until I felt the glare in my eyes.

I looked to the side. I found that Rohman was asleep. I took the phone at the table, and it turned out to be seven in the morning. Oh, my God, it was bad luck.

I wanted to wake up Mas Rohman, but this heart was so heartless. If I look, he looks exhausted. His face was a little pale. But if he does not wake up, he will be late to the office.

I ventured to wake her up. I shook the back of his hand, but he never got up. I held her forehead, it turned out to be hot.

I was so panicked by the situation of Mas Rohman. I tried to calm myself down. I'll get some water to compress Mas Rohman. And luckily I'm always on paracetamol alert if there's an incident like this.

I compress Mas Rohman's forehead. Then I went outside to buy some porridge. Alhamdulillah at the end of the alley if in the morning there is a chicken porridge.
