Thank you for faithfully reading THE ARCHDEUS Volume 1 and always faithfully giving a vote and passion for the author in writing this story.
I know that this story still has flaws, not only on the reading consistency but also on the plot.
But the author will still give the best for you.
Volume 1 focuses on social issues such as lifestyle, especially hygiene. In addition, this volume also succinctly provides a fictional theological view shared by Alex and other archdeus.
The second volume is still in the works and may take a while considering the author's busyness and preparation of reading references.
Maybe this is not a good Afterword, but at least at the end of this volume the author wants to have a little chat with the readers.
There is a lot of emotional and logical upheaval that arises in the author's mind when determining character characteristics, especially the main character (MC)
Subjectively, an author is a perfectionist. The author believes, as the MC who is the center of the story, the MC must be a physically and mentally perfect person. The subjectivity of perfection for the author is the ideal physical starting from height, body shape, and skin color. While emotionally, the author believes that a perfect figure is someone who has stable emotions and has full awareness of desires and limitations. Honestly, the author does not like characters that seem labile, easy to use, and have a weak heart (easy to woo and often pity, such as MC isekai in general).
In the search for that perfect character, Author takes into account all the possibilities. Whether the perfect character might be a king, general, hero, dragon, hybrid, demon, Dungeon Master, or sage. But still the author feels they are still not perfect because there may be someone stronger than them, they have physical or mental deficiencies, he said, or they are still bound by the power of fate (meaning they are still weak). So who is the most perfect?
Hm ... The god? Can we use God/god as the main character?
God cannot die, He has no end. God is the strongest and no one can match Him. God is an early existence that is not bound by space and time. It is a variable that is not bound to the laws of science and is a supernatural existence itself.
Of course, the God the author clearly means is not God/god in isekai anime who often wrongly kill people. The God the author refers to is existence in theology.
But of course the author cannot include all the concepts of theology in the story. The reason is simple, perfection will actually bring the story to completion without even starting.
God is omniscient and omnipotent so how to derive the nature of God into a story that in fact requires conflict and solutions? This means that there will be a synthesis condition that changes the MC. But in essence God is irreversible, He is a consistent existence that is not influenced by the environment.
This is why there is a physical view of God. In this story, the author defines the concept of God in theology as God is born, not singular, has human characteristics, and has a humanoid physique. This is merely a fictitious story that does not reflect a conceptual divinity of a religion.
From that was born the so-called archdeus aka the Supreme God consisting of three people, all born, and all have the physicality of men with different traits.
Why not women? Because the author believes God has a dominant masculine nature rather than feminine. Of course this is meant to be gender not sex (meaning it is not seen from gender). The law of the eyes avenged, the blood avenged, and the life avenged are laws that must be enforced by the power of masculinity. Femininity as something soft does not fit within the law. But the fictitious conditions of the imagination limit it. Of course you can not imagine how a beautiful figure to look at, stocky, muscular but does not have a gender. This cannot be thought of even by the power of imagination. So inevitably it must be imagined that archeus is a man but has no sexual needs (asexual).
After we discuss about why the MC is like this and why it takes the background like this, now the author will explain what is contained in THE ARCHDEUS.
The ARCHDEUS is focused on several things, especially mythology, action, drama, and fantasy.
In addition to these genres, I will also include sub-topics such as politics, business, and socio-culture.
such sub-topics include politics between nobles, religious dogma, and relations between kingdoms. In addition, there are also other sub-topics such as public views on cleanliness, adultery, slavery, plurality, and homosexuality.
Well ... maybe you will be surprised but yes, the author will not hesitate to include homosexual cases in this story. But that does not mean this story has eroticism-romantism between the same sex. On the contrary, homosexuality would be viewed from a theological and cultural point of view. Of course homosexuals are not viewed based on the modern view of the day where they are given legality especially in western countries.
Although not one hundred percent, but the dominant story follows the view of Medieval society. In addition, the story will cite some minor references to the Abrahamic Religion, such as the prohibition of slavery, adultery, polyandry, and homosexuality. However, as has been stated in "Introduce: Basic Concepts," the school of belief in this story is polytheism (Triarchdeustheism) not monotheism.
The author again reminded me, this is not a religious novel. All elements in this story are fiction so it does not reflect a particular group or group.
Hmm .. seems to have had enough of the cover. Once again the author thanks the readers, especially those who have given votes and suggestions. You can ask in the comments column but do not ask for spoilers yes :v
Bye bye!
