The Barony of Alexandreia

After all of Alex's affairs in the capital were done, whether it was the matter of purchasing slaves until the purchase of the house, he and his subordinates decided to return to his residence.

Alex who has returned to his territory is exactly one of his. He now has a larger area. Today, the seat of the dynasty is in the Barony of Alexandreia.

So starting from today they will move the seat of government and economy to Hadalon, the capital of the County of Alexandreia.

The status of the Barony of Alexandreia will be discussed again about its status, which will either remain a barony or be part of the integration of the County of Alexandreia. But it seems to see from the pragmatism that exists, the status of this barony will be changed to limited to 'town'. This was because to prevent confusion by some parties because the county and barony owned by Alex both bear the name Alexandreia. The plan for the Barony of Alexandreia was to become Alexanderburg, a small town administratively under the jurisdiction of the county.

So arguably now the Barony of Alexandreia is an exclave[1] of a larger entity called the County of Alexandreia.

Right now the servants were packing their master's belongings that were to be brought to Hadalon. While their own master was in the living room since he was currently chatting with some people.

Along with Alex's departure towards Hadalon, the adventurers from Orion's party would also leave this area soon. It's time they split up.

Rain and Alven who were also in the living room could not help their grief. To the two, those adventurers were the perfect teacher figures.

The still-boy Alven could not help but cry and reflexively hugged Alya, one of the female adventurers in this group. Arguably compared to others because Alya is the only magic caster of the arcane type, he is the one who most often teaches Alven.

"Huhuhuhu ... Brother, can we meet again" cried Alven.

Atlya wiped away the tears that had spilled on the child's cheeks. Then with a gentle smile, he spoke to Alven.

"Of course, Young Master. Someday we will meet again. But before that, Young Master has to practice a lot, okay."

Alven nodded at Alya's words.

While at the same time, Urien and Rain were also chatting seriously. Although technically Barnard was an adventurer who taught Rain but Urien was the one who trained with him the most. In addition to their age that is not far apart makes the two people have formed a sense of friendship.

"Remember stupid, you have to practice a lot. Don't be lazy" Urien said.

"of course. At our next meeting, I'll beat you" Rain said.

Their farewell conversation ended with an adventurous greeting.

Alex who saw everyone was feeling sad because of this farewell. So he just muttered.

"It seems like the two people were already very close to the adventurers."

"Yeah!! Goodbye handsome guy! I will always remember you."

Meanwhile, from a different creature, a spirit named Vyn revolves around Alex. She kept crying and hugged Alex.

As a spirit, he could not be seen by anyone else except Alex and Barnard. Barnard was a partner of that spirit so he could only try whispering silently to Vyn to calm down. While Alex is the incarnation of Archdeus, with his [Eyes of Esoteric] can see the chaos created by the spirit.

Lilac silently approached Alex. Then he talked to the man.

"Sir, thank you for taking care of us."

Lilac bowed to Alex awkwardly.

"Hmm ... What's wrong? It's not like you're always excited" Alex said.

Alex remembers the first impression he had of meeting Lilac. The woman is a courageous person and tends to speak as is. He spoke politely to Alex.

Lilac's eyes were slightly reddened and her eyelids were slightly swollen. It looks like he just cried last night.

"No, no, I'm sorry. I was too young at the time" Lilac said.

Alex just smiled and did not reply to Lilac's words. Even when the woman tried to speak politely, she was seen still using the word informal. Funny according to Alex.

Alex handed a palm-sized paper with a card-like thickness to Alex. The paper was slightly transparent in some parts with sea blue bottom color and engraving-like motifs were on this paper.

"Thank you" said Alex.

What Lilac gave her was a talisman.  But that was no ordinary talisman. Based on Lilac's words, the talisman was a protective talisman capable of resisting the attacks from the fourth level down spells.

Then it should have been a high-class item.

"But isn't this too valuable to give to me?" alex asked after hearing Lilac's explanation.

"Ah no, no, precisely this gift is not comparable to your gift to us" Lilac said.

To be honest what Alex has given them over the last few years is huge. Especially their fees are very high and never late. Now even they can actually retire without worrying about running out of money thanks to the payment Alex has been sending all along.

But as true adventurers, everyone here wanted to do some exploring. They want to explore every corner of the world, get to know new people, and discover secrets that have never been revealed. This is the idealism of an adventurer.

After Lilac gave the talisman away, she then immediately moved away. For him, it's very difficult to stay near Alex.

Lilac realized that love sometimes becomes very painful. He has never been this desperate. Likes a man from two different worlds, a man who has everything with a magnificent mansion again luxurious, while he is just an adventurer who sleeps on the earth with the sky being his roof. He realized that it was impossible for them to be together. For him the pain of separation is far better than harboring a one-sided love that will never be avenged. Maybe this is karma for him who always plays with the feelings of men.

After Barnard as the head of the Orion Party bid farewell to Alex and the people in the mansion, the adventurers finally left. They continued their adventure.

Alex lent them a horse-drawn carriage that went straight to the royal capital. The horse carriage was large enough because of the jam to accommodate adventurers, it could also carry their items such as magic equipment and food supplies. This is a thank you for helping him.

The train finally left the now deserted neighborhood of the mansion.

After the horse carriage carrying the adventurers was no longer visible, Alex looked at Alven and Rain who were still sad. These two people did indeed have an emotional bond with adventurers.

"If you are still sad, cry. If it's done, get your things done immediately because we'll be leaving for Hadalon soon" said Alex.
