ZUCK!(ATTACK!5)

A slash!

A blade with a red aura suddenly flew past almost hitting Alpha's cheek. But unfortunately the attack that leads right to the feather Eldnest's heart was reflected by his level 5 protective spell, [Protection of Volunteers].

Everyone stood in silence looking at the blade that came suddenly. No one was aware of the attack but the witches knew for sure that this was not a good thing.

In front of them, a group of knights equipped with torches, swords, and shields had run and formed a formation preparing to attack.

In the middle of the group, stood the figure of a tall young man who looked at them expressionlessly. The young man's eyes were as if they were emitting a blood-red glow as a result of a sharp contrast to the darkening of the passageway.

For a moment all the witches gulped after seeing the group of soldiers and the deadly look of the young man.

Next to the young man stood two women. The first woman had blonde hair and wore a robe that looked like a priest's robe. While the second woman had sea-blue hair and wore knight armor.

"Don't come any closer! Otherwise, this child will die!"

Eldnest is increasingly casting his threat. But it did not affect the determination of the young man who was still staring at him coldly.

The young man walked over slowly followed by his group from behind. Each step of his foot shook the witches' resolve. They did not know why but the witches especially Eldnest felt depressed when looking into the eyes of this young man as if this young man was an extremely terrifying existence. Yet Eldnest felt that this was just his illusion as he tried to sense the supernatural power of this young man that felt extremely low.

The young man stopped right next to Alen.

Alen glanced at the young man before saluting.

"Young Master Alex."

Alex just nodded slowly before refocusing himself on the witches.

"You wouldn't dare to do it."

"What?"

Eldnest did not understand what Alex was saying. But Alex continued with his words.

"If you do consider the child's life worthless, there's no way you'll attack the count's residence by risking your subordinates."

Alex's words immediately silenced Eldnest's acting. What this young man said was correct. However the A-25 is an important specimen for human development and future. How could Eldnest just kill a successful specimen.

Eldnest felt frustrated and decided to throw Alpha at his subordinates. The old scoundrel decided to fight these intruders. After all, he was a wizard capable of using tier 5 spells. Obviously they have a chance even though they are outnumbered.

The area around Eldnest glowed and gave rise to hundreds of magic symbols that linked together to form five chains.The magic symbols contained lightning and surrounded the caster. This was a level 5 lightning element and AoE type spell.

Eldnest instantly raised his right hand towards the enemies. The five lightning chains instantly shot toward Alex's group.

But luckily, Alen sprightly the knights swiftly advanced forward and set up defensive formations using their peppers as quickly as possible. Ryana had also prepared [Minor Shield] but unfortunately it was impossible for a tier 2 magic to be able to withstand the attacks from a tier 5 magic.

Sure enough, when those five chains of lightning struck the [Minor Shield], the transparent magic shield instantly broke apart. Eldnest's attack is still continued but can be held up by the shield and armor of the knights. A clash between the [Sigil of Thunder Chain] and the shield magic reinforced by aura occurred. Lightning flowers flew in all directions but in the end stopped without leaving any casualties.

Unfortunately, this is not without effect. The knights who resisted the attack wavered and slowly knelt down. Their bodies give off a thin smoke and their skin looks blacker. Even with the reduction of the shield, aura, and armor, the effect of the attack spell was simply too powerful.

It was fortunate that they had one healer who, although only able to use level 2 spells, could at least treat the effects of electrocution one by one. They also carry potions.

After the attack passed, Alen quickly went back in and attacked Eldnest. But the old witch used her wand to block the two daggers that were pointing at her.

The unharmed knights advanced. They raised their shields to withstand spells from magicians who averaged tier 3 spells such as [Lightning], [Fireball], and [Ice Spear]. When the knights were too close, the witches used [Shockwave] to throw the knights. Unfortunately it was only a tier 2 spell that did not give any significant effect.

A sword carrying a blood red aura flew straight and shattered the head of a magician.

Alex carries two small daggers that are just non-magic items and runs over. This weapon is Justin's throwing dagger. Unfortunately Justin can not use the aura so Alex decided to use this weapon to be more effective.

He flowed his aura into the dagger then threw it at the target. This time the target was Eldnest who was dueling with Alen. However this old witch realized that the attack was and directly used the [Protection of Volunteers] to fend off the throwing dagger.

"[The Spears of Vicious]."

Four purple spears swirled around Eldnest then all four of them shot towards Alen. This is a level 5 spell.

Alen dodged it so that all four were stuck to the ground but the four spears suddenly broke into several smaller sized spears that floated and slid back towards Alen.

Alen again dodged but the more often the spear was stuck on the ground, the more number they were.

So Alen decided to turn his body and repel all the spears using his dagger. It worked but he had scratches all around his body.

"Hahaha .. You can't beat me!"

Alen retreated to where Alex was. The old man's breathing was quite heavy as a result of moving too much.

"Young Master."

Alex frowned as a result of this bad situation.

"Collapse! Maybe I'll forgive you!"

Eldnest laughed out loud.

Alex's guess is right. Although Eldnest was still laughing but in fact he knew that his mana supply had reached a critical state. He had already used too many level 5 spells. In addition, many of the witches had died from receiving melee or long-range attacks through the aura waves by the knights.

Although the knight also did not leave no casualties but it was not a casualty. All the knights were still alive although most had been injured by Eldnest's attack or from other witches.

Eldnest landed with his dead-backed right hand. Blood flowed from his wound.

A witch suddenly shouted in panic at Eldnest.

Eldnest realized too late.

The red-eyed young man slid towards him at a terrifying speed after jumping using aura energy.

The sword eyes that were drenched in blood-red aura were pointed towards Eldnest. He could not read the spell. Hurrying instinctively he used his staff to fend off. But the hand holding the stick had been butted.

The sword eyes had broken through his body. At the same second, he saw this red-eyed young man muttering to him.

"See you."

At his last breath, Eldnest thought that this was the end of his journey. Now there is no hope anymore. He failed to protect a valuable asset that could save humanity from the attack of the devil and it was all caused by the humans who invaded them. How humiliating.
