Rain was very excited when he was invited by his master to hunt. He considers this a moment to gather experience and test his sword skills. However, he still remembers his father's advice to be proficient in reading and swordsmanship.
Rain's spirit grew even more searing as his master handed the sword to him. This might be just an ordinary sword that is nothing compared to the swords of knights who are middle class level magic swords. But Rain did not care because for the first time he could hold a sword without having to fear being caught.
Unfortunately, his enthusiasm was disturbed when he went on a horse. Rain had no experience riding a horse so he inevitably was joined by a knight named Cathan. The knight was 20 years old and a fresh graduate of the royal Military Academy.
Rain had indeed gotten used to entering the forest but at the moment he was quite nervous because he was not alone. Rain subconsciously restricted his movements, trying not to take silly actions especially in front of his master.
But his jaim also broke when he saw the fight of the three knights against a Snowalker Rangifer.
"That's amazing!"
Rain was blown away when he saw the strength of the aura of the knights. They first attacked the magic beast by flowing their aura into the sword, then smoothed their sword into the quarry. Then when the Snowalker Rangifer let out an extremely cold breath, the knights kept their distance from AoE. Yet they still attacked with waves of aura. They first flowed their auras into the sword then attacked the empty air so that their auras shot out from the sword and created waves of aura that attacked the Snowalker Rangifer from a distance.
Besides knights, the only ranger in this group named Rockie also attacked superbly. He flowed his aura into the magic bow and then attacked the Snowalker Rangifer with a very fast arrow. This arrow attack created an explosion that even the ice magic beast armor was slowly getting damaged.
"How's Rain, do you want to join?"
Suddenly his master asked him. His master only made one attack. After that he just kept quiet and looked at the conditions.
Rain who had originally wanted to join felt insecure after seeing the abilities of all these great people. He was just a slave who had never received any military training. Will his participation in the battle result in a significant change? Rain doubted himself.
"Don't be afraid. You can take cover behind the knights. They won't let you get hurt. Besides, I'll also take care of you from behind."
"Good, Master!"
Rain did judge his master this was a good person. At least as long as he was a slave to Alex, he never lacked food, had new clothes, was always clean, even to the point of earning an allowance. Isn't his master really very good?
So although he was not 100% sure, he believed that his master would not let him die. However he could not be careless, however he was only a slave so his death would definitely not have a great effect on his master.
"Good, you can tie the horses there."
His master pointed at a tree not far from them.
Unlike Alex and Rockie who were still riding horses, after the three knights separated from the group, Rain had to walk and pull three horses. It was fortunate that the three of them were docile so that he could attract them casually.
After Rain tied them up in the tree trunk to prevent them from traveling, Rain equipped his sword to run towards the magic beast.
"Ho! hold on, don't get too close!"
Cathan stretched out his left hand to block Rain.
"Stay behind me, be careful with your breath. If you get a little bit exposed, your muscles and even your blood will instantly freeze."
Cathan and the other three knights were equipped with magic armor plus they could use aura to provide additional protection for themselves so that the [Rangifer Breath] effect would be reduced to them. However Rain who only used standard thin armor would not be able to withstand that frozen attack.
Rain was confused as to how he could participate. At least knights could use aura waves to deliver range-type attacks, but Rain was a pure melee who did not have long-range attack abilities unless he threw stones.
"Yes, you can throw stones. Doesn't matter. Don't be so sad" said Cathan.
"...."
Reluctantly Rain obeyed Cathan's words. He picked up a ball-sized stone and threw it towards Rangifer Snowalker.
Rangifer Snowalker was irritated by the three humans attacking him. Every time he approached, the three of them moved away so that his frozen breath could not reach them. He even used his horns several times to attack but they were very seen to fend off and dodge. In addition, one more human who was out of nowhere gave an attack from a long distance so as to slowly damage his armor.
Rangifer Snowalker is really upset. These weak and lowly humans dared to interfere with his life, it was clear he was going to destroy these lowly creatures. He clenched his teeth and increasingly gave hateful eyes.
Plok!
I don't know where a stone hit his head. The stone obviously did not give any effect but somehow he felt humiliated.
Rangifer Snowalker began to look left and right to find out who did it. Until he finally saw a human who looked more miserable than others was holding a stone and giving another throw.
Plok!
"...."
OOOHH So you!
Feeling the most bastard, Rangifer Snowalker immediately ran into the damn human. Already weak, how dare he give a throw.
"Revelation Rain!"
Cathan instantly pulled Rain out of AoE's frozen breath. Then he threw Rain as far away as possible.
"Quickly away!"
Rain who was still in a daze due to being thrown rushed to run but the Snowalker Rangifer did not let him escape just like that. He's after Rain.
Cathan gave off an aura wave attack to distract the Snowalker Rangifer. However the creature did not respond and continued to chase Rain as if it had found its great enemy.
Even the other knights came to give attacks but the focus of the magic beast was not sidetracked.
Rain kept running. He was so scared. Even with his breath already panting, he still tried to stay away from the creepy creature. But unfortunately a root that protruded out of the ground made him stumble and fall.
"Uurghs!"
Rain tried to get up, but from behind him came a giant shadow. Cold sweat instantly flooded his skin. His heart seemed to be pumped so strongly that he felt the world could hear his heartbeat sounding dug, dug, dug.
Rain turned his gaze backwards. He saw the figure of a giant white deer that was opening its mouth. From his mouth was a completely bluish-white light visible.
I die!
Rain shivered, but he knew this was the end of his life story. Good bye to the world.
BOOM!!
Suddenly an attack hit the head of the giant deer. Shards of rocks instantly spread from the attack. The attack was so devastating that it sent the deer into droves.
Rangifer Snowalker shook his head as he felt dizzy. This is the most critical attack. Moreover, his head was not protected by the ice armor. He then shifted his gaze to the source of the attack, then he got another throw right in his bid.
BOOM UP!
Rangifer Snowalker instantly retreated, he even raised his front two legs and retreated with his two hind legs. He almost fell due to the terrible attack.
"Rain, what are you doing? Quick run!"
From a distance Alex yelled at Rain. Alex and Rockie have gotten off the horse and are now closer than ever.
Fortunately Rain immediately regained his senses and rushed to his feet and ran over to Alex.
Everyone fell silent when they learned of the attack from Alex.
Since when can the young master conduct aura?
The knights were confused by their master's abilities. For them, the conduction of the aura which is the ability to flow the aura to the conductor is the topmost stage in the method of aura control. That is usually mastered the fastest is a year. Yet his master who had only been able to control such a powerful aura for a month? Isn't that beyond possible?
Alex doesn't want to reveal his abilities. As archdeus of course he can do that very easily. If you compare the daily use of deusvoulic energy sources such as Helnit (Negative Energy/Hell) and Neut (Neutral Energy/Empty) then using mana and aura, it's like comparing eating rice and eating porridge.
The use of aura must be able to go through at least three stages, namely feeling the aura, creating the aura, and controlling the aura. As archdeus of course Alex had long been able to see and control the aura. Unfortunately in order to create an aura through this mortal body of his, he obviously had to learn. It was because the abilities of his mortal body were limited, so the only stage he had yet to complete was the ability to create an aura.
When compared between the quantity of Alex's aura and the aura of the knights, it was clear that Alex's aura number was still very small.
Alex had only twice poured his aura into the stone but he had already emitted 1/4 of his aura.
"Master!"
Rain had run to Alex's place with a gasp. It was clear that sweat had flooded his body.
"Are you okay?"
"Yes, Sir."
"Goodoo. Everybody, attack!"
"Yes!!"
In response to the command, all the knights returned to attack. From the blind spot where the Snowalker Rangifer could not exhale ice, a knight gave out a sword slash. However the attack only caused the ice armor to crack.
Rockie is still attacking from afar. He was next to Alex and gave a focused attack in the head area. Unfortunately since Alex's attack was successful, the magic beast was increasingly focused on keeping its head.
The battle could continue for more than an hour. Fortunately after five minutes finally [Rangifer Breath] entered the coldown period for 2 hours before it could be reused. The coldown of his skill caused the frozen breath storage within the Snowalker Rangifer's body to have been empty so it had to be replenished for at least two hours.
It was at this crucial time that Rangifer Snowalker was finally cornered. As time passed, his ice armor finally shattered after enduring various attacks from knights and arrow shots from Rockie.
Finally after the Snowalker Rangifer suffered many injuries from the slashes and punches from the eyes of the arrows, the magic beast fell for less than thirty minutes of battle.
Obviously the knights were less excited as most of them just kept their distance and did not give too much maneuvering. This did not give them an overwhelming battle passion. They want to be more challenging and dangerous.
But Alex did not think so. He was very happy because their opponent was Rangifer Snowalker. So that he does not need to sweat to give a slash. With the corpse of the Snowalker Rangifer as a result of hunting, he was finally able to stop hunting and get out of the forest.
Unfortunately Alex's comfort did not happen. From a distance, a terrifying roar sounded. The birds flew away from the roar. Slowly the ground began to tremble and the roar grew more and more clear.
Rockie who had a strong sense sensitivity clearly knew something big was coming towards them quickly. He immediately gave an excited smile and loudly said to everyone.
"He came ... Finally, it's Red Urours!"
